I didn't read all the comments to see if anyone answered your question so I'll list their names - The Bees Gees are Barry Gibb (oldest boy), usually stands in the middle flanked by his twin brothers, Robin (on the left, white shirt) & Maurice (pronounced Morris) is on the right. The oldest Gibb is their sister, Lesley & the baby of the family was little brother, Andy who died in 1988. Sadly we lost Maurice first in 2003 & then his twin, Robin died in 2012 from cancer. Barry is the last surviving member of The Bee Gees & he still makes music. Last year, he did a album called "Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook Vol. 1" collaborating with several country music artists to put a different spin on old Bee Gees songs.

Auto tune has essentially killed off the heavenly vibrato - part of their beauty is Robin and Barry having two different vibrato tones while Maurice delivers smooth constant tone. Pretty sure auto tune would flatten it or just give up LOL

I'm 59, which means that I was a teenager dancing my ass off to the Bee Gees Disco music in the late 70s.
The Bee Gees were the most talented band of brothers for at least the last 100 years. They began in the late 60s and were the biggest stars on the planet through the 70s. They also were prolific songwriters for other singers through the 70s 80s and 90s. I highly recommend a documentary from 2020 called "Bee Gees: How Do You Mend A Broken Heart", narrated by Barry Gibb, that traces their entire career. It's amazing, very personal, and you will love them more than ever after viewing it.

The Brothers Gibb mastered a vocal technique known as "falsetto." Most male pop vocalists use it sparingly. The Bee Gees adapted successfully to the disco era and employed falsetto in much of their music, even in the 60's.

My favourite song of theirs is '' Love you inside and out '' its a mellow funky beat ❤ you would love it from a 58 year old from the UK from left to right Robin, Barry and Maurice, Robin was my favourite voice, you need to listen to '' for whom the bell tolls '' Robin sings a lot on that track ❤

I’m 52 and have been a lifelong fan of the Bee Gees. Their music was quite literally the soundtrack of my childhood. You will get a LOT of requests for their disco era music but do yourself a favor and check out their music from the 60s too. Here are a few songs to start with: To Love Somebody (67), Massachusetts (67), and I’ve Gotta Get a Message To You (68).
    Enjoy the journey. ✌🏼

One song by the Bee Gees you may have already heard, without knowing it was them, is 'Staying Alive'. It has been used in many movie soundtracks. I will be interested to see if you recognize it! Great reaction, by the way.

This video was done in the late 70's and features Barry on lead vocals. To hear Robin sharing the lead singing listen to "Alone" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Also, all the money from "Too Much Heaven" was donated to UNICEF charity forever. The reason for the orchestra was that many artists recorded in front of the band to donate their songs for the charity. They again donated funds from their song "Blue Island" to children orphaned during the Bosnian War .
You mentioned the Righteous Brothers. Bobby Hatfield does a version of the classic "Summertime" that you just have to see to believe. Thanks!

Robin on the left of the video and Maurice on the far right are now a part of the ancestral world (along with their youngest brother Andy, may they all R.I.H.). Barry in the middle is the only living one now.

The Gibb brothers---Barry (lead on this song), and the twins Robin and Maurice, have been singing together since they were children. The twins have sadly passed on, leaving Barry the lone survivor. They can never be copied or duplicated. Only remembered. Their singing was sublime and Barry was a very talented writer and producer. Barry perfected his falsetto and the twins sound so good together (being a twin myself, I know about that connection). They have a HUGE catalogue of music. It's a pretty deep dive, but worth it. Give their early hit "To Love Somebody" a listen. It will amaze you.

As a pre-teen in the 70s, I never appreciated how Barry Gibbs sang. Now watching these reaction tapes, I have a new learned Deep Appreciation for his astounding talent! What he was able to accomplish hitting those high notes, and for so long!! Bravo to him, his fantastic brothers and the people playing in the background. Perfection all around!

LOVE your reaction 💎💎😻😸😺 The Bee Gees we’re such a popular group & we had it all from the 50’s 60’s70’s & 80’s that’s why the ‘old’ folks now are the ones that grew up on all the fantastic music & are the cool ones!, it is a pleasure to watch the younger generations discover & love the music we old folks lived through & watching reactions makes us love the music even more than before! So glad you are enjoying the music of bygone days, please pass it onto your children so they will know the wonderful music of other generations, this music needs to go forward and not be forgotten ☮️💜🥰
