Excellent coverage again Terry...You've pushed the envelope so far ahead in audio and video quality, that it is really difficult to go back to other coverage videos. This is probably the closest I've been to being live in the room. Bravo and please keep up the good work for lesser mortals to enjoy the show too.
One can hear the headroom and power reserve of this system. The speakers are controlled exceptionally well.
It also doesn't have the extreme high end audofile 'over airiness', very impressive!

@@PursuitPerfectSystem Like people have already said thanks for a job well done with the quality of your coverage of the demos. I have heard a gryphon cd based system running in by chance in Glasgow. It was unnerving how real the presence of the singer was in the room.

I have not heard the Ethos CD Player yet, but I have heard the Diablo 300 integrated and it was stunning. It's been a long time since a SS integrated amplifier knocked my socks off, and this one did it, so I am not surprised about the incredible sound of this system.

Fantastic demonstration of the finest audio products ! With such state of the art amplifiers the speakers still needs assistance with powered subwoofers? I think everything worked well together.

They are pseudo point source speakers. The drivers are arranged to give the illusion of pont source. And they sound point source! Cos my home built speakers are single driver speakers (with an extra non point source woofer). But upper bass upwards is point source on my speakers. Your system sounds A1 through my Audiolab amp and my speakers. Recorded from such a distance doesn't seem to be muffled in any way, by room acoustics. Highs are amazing on the second demo. Well done system, set-up and recording!

This was one of the best (if not the best) sounding systems I have ever heard on these demos! Generally the sound is metalic on highs and bass is dull over the camera's microphones. But this one sounds almost like live perfornances!

Bass is indeed lacking for whatever reason. Mids and highs have that well known Gryphon slam.
Yes! This heavy system totally disappear and let the magic of the music intact. The last track is just a masterpiece.
Lydia Ainsworths track on that must have sounded so good in there. it sounds epic on the headphones even miles out of the sweetspot

Of course, listening to this on your pc‘s, desktop speakers or the like and then writing some of the comments below about clarity of sound and how impressive this all sounds is a bit of a joke. I wish I had been there to experience this live. But hey, with my hearing, I probably would have missed a lot anyway. Love the look of the set-up 👍
How else are we supposed to listen to it? It's not like we could get a special invitation to attend the listening party.

It is amazing young man buy a cheap DVD player it will sound amazing for 30 to 50 pounds
And that is a remarkable sounding system, even if it is ridiculous money! Interesting to see they've gone with the cd player. I still think it's a good format but it's getting side swiped by streaming and playing files, it's just the way it's going now. Totally agree with him on the red-book thing, personally I don't think there's any need on any other disc formats, red-book is stunning when it's done right, and the better the quality of the equipment it never ceases to amaze.
I have ben saying for about 3 years I think we are going to see the CD player make a come back. Yes it is not as practical as streaming and not as coloured as vinyl but the sound quality really is excellent
@@davegik And I've been saying for years CD players days are numbered :) Which I still think is the case actually. The reason for this being digital technology/storage space is just so affordable now. To get that exact information off those discs or hundreds of discs and onto even something smaller than a child's thumbnail is now possible, with no moving parts. There is just no need for CDs anymore, they are not coming back. However, they are still a nice way of using music for now. DACs however, aren't going anywhere and that machine can be used as a standalone DAC as well, so a very nice machine to own. I still have my huge dusty CD collection. I put a lot of love into those discs over the years :)

@@davegik Just put your efforts into finding the best red book DAC you can David, that's where your money and focus should be. Excellent CD transports can be bought for very little money these days.

El problema ahí para mi es la fuente, habría que escuchar este sistema con fuente analógica.

The sound is very "materialistic". you can squeeze it in your hand, so tactile. You don't have to imagine "what's there" it just falls on you.
There are many in this league, like chronosonics+Thors, top YGs, Gryphon Kodo's, etc. Looks like we reached the real sound tech.

The demand for CD players is still going on I don't download music you can't beat the CD player sound I still buy CDS and you can have wonderful sound with DVD players witch play cds for 25 pounds to 40 pounds trust me guys for 25 35 45 pounds

@@gsmd770 at Munich I think there were a few systems costing a million and a Bugatti costing 3 million so a quarter of one is not silly by compare.
It's a mega money system but it's also a mega experience to listen to music on it.
That's why I started the videos here because it was a very powerful demo that made a huge impact on me :)

A pair of 112Kg, 200watt, Class A monoblocs used to drive 4 mids and 2 tweeters?.. I see massive overkill here, plus, I think I saw Dick Turpin sitting amongst the audience. High End audio never ceases to amaze and frustrate me.

I've realised that this is a business and this industry needs to make us to believe that the audio nirvana is just around the next and new hardware available.
Well, that's not true. In fact, I listen almost entirely with a cheap Yamaha equipment formed by two parts. One is a multitask source and his companion, an integrated amp with only one input. Obviously, the loudspeakers I always use are my best, two standmount speakers TAOC-FC3000 + REL Subwoofer and I must confess that with the 90% of the quality afforded by this humble set (CD-NT670 + A-670 ) in comparison with all the others much more expensive and bulky items I own is all I need to enjoy listening beautiful music.
90% of the audiophile population could be very satisfied with that. I have a dedicated listening room of small proportions 10 squared meters only, besides, there's neighbours near as I live in a building, not a house. What's the sense in selling cars that can get to 300km/hour when the max. Allowable speed is 120? This is only a comparison.
I listen to 65dB 😂 average so why would I need more wattage or current or ...
I've been lied but I don't care, my passion has always been the hardware, obviously a perfect sound too.

That is probably the most detailed amp I have ever heard. Beautiful , but it's not for me.
the monitor audio platinum 500 Gen 2 will sound just as good or better than these speakers at 1/3 the cost the platinums are 32,000 us I bet you these are close to 100,000 that's because monitor audio builds their speakers in China anything coming out of the Scandinavian countries is going to be very expensive because their cost of living is so high.

I wouldn't say that all - there was not too much bass I felt a bit more would have been better actually but it's hard in show rooms to get the balance right across many seats / a larger area

I have never heard any of these before this demo - so its all new to me and I have been visiting a lot of shows in the last few years
For the price tag on this system no sound is worth it,it’s solely for rich fools,there are systems out there that will display this sound just as well for a tenths of the price ( not impressed)great photography though
