Deuce McAllister: The best running back in New Orleans Saints history? | Forgotten Player Profiles

- Deuce McAllister looked primed to be the New Orleans Saints workhorse back for years in the early 2000s after reeling off three straight seasons of over 1000 rushing yards. Unfortunately, knee injuries quickly took away Deuce's career and he only played 8 seasons because of them. However, Deuce's time in New Orleans saw him become one of the most beloved players in Saints history, and depending on who you ask, the greatest running back in Saints history.

My Deuce story..one night i was in V.I.P in a nightclub in Jackson Mississippi..Deuce was sitting right next to me..i look over and this dude falls face forward..dead drunk lol .. I helped him up and to his car...he came too alright ..he gathered himself before he drove off...really good guy tho...
Side note you might wanna do a video on marques colston. Probably the best receiver to never make a pro bowl
This!!
Facts. Colston was severely underrated.

Madden players remember this guy.
93 ovr on Madden 05 💯
@@khbrown8963 xD I was here ready to say this
Prior to Drew Brees being in New Orleans I think Aaron Brooks was a solid QB for the Saints that had a unique career overall that should be talked about in a video at some point
I'm a Panthers fan so I was used to seeing him play my team. He was a beast and has one of the best football names of all time.
Deuce was a monster.
Deuce McAllister was a powerful back during his time in the NFL; too bad his career was cut short by injuries. He was definitely one of the best Saints running backs in franchise history.
Duece is one of my favorite Saints players of all time. This is coming from a 43 year old life time Saints fan. WHO DAT!
Love the channel Bro. Keep up the good work. Can you do a Joe Horn profile. My favorite player growing up but it’s good to see a deuce profile. Our best RB in saints history
deuce is the only back in nfl history to have the most holding penalties after a long run
What do you mean by that
@@lucaswilliams6550 every long run he had as a saint, it'll be called back bcuz if holding by the linemen
Another great running back from the NFC South that deserves a video from that era should be Warrick Dunn. At the time felt like a poor man's Barry Sanders
8:00 scared the hell outta me
Warrick Dunn should be on your list
The answer is yes
This one of the funniest video's out but I been in that bitch and I know he ain't lieing.
We will Never forget Deuce... Deuce is Not just a Phenomenal Football Legend, He is too Legit, To Quit and Has Never Forgotten His Fans. It was a ✨"MIRACULOUS BLESSING"✨, To have seen him in person, at Pep Boys; In Metairie, Louisiana and I Thank; ⚡"OUR HEAVENLY FATHER"⚡ FOR HAVING ALLOWED You, To have Embraced My Song... We Love The Entire Saints Organizations and Team. ✨"Who Dat, We Dat, Why Dat; Because We Allll Dat"✨!!!! More ❤ For You All... Continue To Be ✨"BLESSED"✨!!!!! Joyce H. Reine
Can we get a Mahmoud Abdul Rauf Video?
RB yards are so dependent on blocking, a bad O line can crush the best........talent can only do so much, fumbles are a different story, you gotta take care of the ball......ask kurt warner, fumbles were his undoing
Deuce was a beast and consistent but I would say Ricky Williams best Saints RB
Aaron Brooks was the reason why the Saints offense stumbled! Aaron was basically Dak Prescott he was good against terrible teams and couldn't beat a good team to save his life! Just like Dak Aaron would put up good yardage but couldn't find the end zone! Hasslet was a terrible head coach as well he had a decent defensive mind but had no clue what he was doing on offense! I couldn't wait for Jim Hasslet and Aaron Brooks to leave the team they were the biggest mistake the Saints head office ever made!
Yeah AB and Haslett were ridiculous. Haslett could never win in December. We would always start off strong but flame out in December. I remember that 2002 season where we lost our final three games cause haslett didn’t want to bench AB for delhhomme.
Whodat saints fans remember
6 year deal for 6.2million a year 🤔
Ironhead and Dalton Hilliard were better. Good video tho, worth a watch. deuce was a great fantasy player.
Hell naw iron heads numbers are trash Dalton Hilliard was a one year wonder McAllister was a beast he had better numbers and a longer more effective career than both those guys
@@timmayes2863 ha! Yea but how awesome were they in tecmo Superbowl?
@@timhall5382 true they was hard to stop
The only one that could challenge Duce as the best RB in Saints history is Alvin Kamara.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Think Kamara is the best Saints RB all time but Deuce #2
Ur stupid bc it's deuce all day Kamara can't hold his jock strap
Reggie Bush?? I thought he was just as good maybe better
You forgot him, because you're not old enough.
