The X Files Season 11 Explained

- The eleventh season of the science fiction television series The X-Files premiered on January 3, 2018, on Fox. The season consists of ten episodes. It follows newly re-instated FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson). The season's storyline picks up directly after last season's finale and the search for Mulder and Scully's son William is the main story arc of the season.

Season 11 was amazing (other than ep. 9) The final scene is epic.

Did you know there have been pandemics every 5 to 10 years worldwide? Ebola in 2014 is still not over and we are extremely lucky that it isn't evolving and spreading like Covid because we would all be toast.
They said William was smoking man's child with Scully. Yet Mulder had the vile with Scully's egg & had agreed to donate to fertilize the egg and then it was to be implanted in her. Then there is the "missing night" where Scully finds herself in jammies that Smoking man and his maid put her in and is one supposed to gather that is when Smoking man could be the father, but then where is the egg they had Muldur implant? At the very end, how could Scully be pregnant again, as it implied at the very end, when she told Mulder he was a father and she put his hand on her stomach. I am confused! I did skip a few like most of season 9 and some of 8. I had trouble with some of the creepiness of some of the episodes.
Interesting take. Not what I took away from it but that’s what’s great about interpreting media. I loved this season

The world did. If you watch it agin, it did it.

So I thought there was supposed to be a virus and Scully was supposed to find a cure
Chris Carter realized that people hated it and he didn't know how to work a season around that, so he ret-conned it so that season eleven episode 1 showed that the virus was just Scullys dream while she was in a coma

@@dreamlandnightmare I actually believe him. It's a way that he can write Mulder almost dying and the drama that surrounds that with no consequence. He's kind of an ass that way.

I would like a new era of X-files centred on Miller and Einstein, and for Mulder and Scully to just close their parenthood arc with William and to be supporting characters from so on
