I love that you just use fresh lemon juice!! So natural and no extras ❤ cant wait to try it!! Thank you for sharing!!
This looks really easy. I will have to try it myself. Thank you for sharing.
I'm definitely going to do this recipe! Looks delicious!
I've been milking my Nubian for a few weeks now and finally decided to experiment and make a batch of cheese. This recipe turned out great! Next time I will be adding dill, caraway, and garlic. Thank you! Quick and easy!
Those are great herbs to add! Yields are especially good with Nubian's milk
Do you let the milk sit out for a couple of days and collect cream for butter ? Or do you use fresh milk
love your voice and how simply you state things and your pep/energy, thank you for this video! more please!
Delicious! I just followed this recipe with half gallon of raw goat milk and one a half lemon. The curds were a little smaller but I ended up with a nice size cheese. I only added salt before shaping it and putting it in the fridge. Very delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
We make goat cheese for dessert by mixing mashed blueberry or raspberries into the log of goatcheese and spreading it on anything. It is such a great lo fat dessert that is creamy and naturally sweet.
thank you for how much easier it is when you describe there are no hard task at all.
Thank you for this video - used your instruction to make my first batch of goat cheese today!❤
I love it when they get straight to the point.
Just making it the first time! Thanks SO much! 💛💛💛
I will try it! It looks delicious! Thank you!
This is the easiest way to do goat cheese. Thank you ❣️
I love this video can't wait to make some
Thank you for sharing this simple recipe . I can’t wait to try it . Does it work for cows milk as well ?
Wow! Whey easier than I thought! lol No really, this was a great video. I'll be back in milk hopefully by March and plan to do this. Trying to get as far from grocery store shopping as I can. Thanks!
Great receipt, thanks!
Hi. I live on a yacht and i make this with full cream milk all the time using a chucx dish cloth doubled over. I spred it on home made pan fryed scones with strawberry jam. Yum.
Gerard.

Easiest way loved it 😍
I'm planning to start raising a lot of goats for meat, so started searching for use dishes that could be made out of goats milk.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you need helpers at your goat farm
Awesome idea .thanks lot. Well done. i love it.👍❤🇲🇦
Great recipe, thank you! Can you save the milk to try again if it doesn't curdle?
Going to start making this...Thanks!
Excellent video. Many tks
Amazing! How long does this last in the refrigerator and can you freeze it?

That was awesome thank you it's nice to see somebody can make something from real ingredients and not all the industrial b******* that makes us sick thank you again
Thank you.❤
I love this idea.
Lovelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, thanks for sharing!
Looks so yummy
Hi thank you for the recipe, I do have a question. I made it it came out fine but it doesn’t have that distinctive tangy goat cheese flavor did I miss something or what can I do to get that flavor? Thanks again.
Can you make cake icings out of this as well. That looks fast and easy
Thank you lot.
Thank you for this video my granddaughter can’t eat or drink anything dairy. She is not just lactose intolerant she is allergic to anything that comes from a cow. I have learned how to make whipped cream from chickpeas so she isn’t left out on the holidays. And always diligent about chocolate, and read all labels that I purchase Incase she may in-jest. We don’t have to completely go vegan but I’m very careful when it comes to her. I love my Grandchildren so much and I am so grateful for all that give their time to share with the over 60 group that still want to take ❤️💕💕 care of the babies we love.
Good easy and fast way to make cheese for everyone. I have a question: when goat milk tastes a little sour, but no other smell, can we still drink it?
Make a salt and water liquid and put the cheese in that water. Salt preserves the cheese a lot longer but it needs to be in the liquid completely! It can last a long time in that salt water
Do you use Pasteurized goats's milk or raw milk? I used raw milk and there wasn't a separation when I added the fresh Lemon juice.
very clear, thanks a lot
Great video and very simple recipe! Can I use any fresh milk I have, like Cow og Buffalo?
Svein Arne Grønnevik YES
Thanks for sharig🧡
How much lemon juice should I add, and how many minutes should I leave the mixture to gother
When do you mix in your basil and garlic?
Sea salt?
Wonderful
Can this be done with lime? And if so is it the same amount?
It looks so easy and good. Do you think that ultra-pasteurized milk would work? I couldn't find not pasteurized goat milk.
Cheese recipes I've seen say not to use ultrapasterized. If you use cows milk it would probably come out as ricota cheese. Have no idea want would come out if you used heavycream but how bad could it be. (if you are going to make something new use a small amount at fiirst - just a suggestion)
Can we do with a pasteurised goat milk ?
Do you pour your lemon juice into the 180 degree milk? Or wait until it cools down ?
My neighbor gives me a gallon of goat milk every week, but i always feel terrible because I can't drink it fast enough before it spoils, I think I will try this, Thanks!!!
How long will this cheese last? Can I store it and save it?
Any way to substitute white vinegar for the lemon juice?
How do you store the rest???
I'm having a problem with the consistency. It feels as if I need to remove more moisture but I have no drips anymore. Help
Make a salt and water liquid and put the cheese in that water. Salt preserves the cheese a lot longer but it needs to be in the liquid completely! It can last a long time in that salt water.
Do you get the flavour of the lemon in the cheese?
How about if I want to add salt? What to do?.. Please 👍
Thank you for this video !!!!!! :)
That will be roughly 85 Celsius in case you're not familiar with the other Fahrenheit. Thanks for the video I start making it now
How long will the cheese last in the fridge?
Can you use sour orange instead of lemon juice?
Just did this for the first time from the milk I got from my goats this morning. Worked amazingly. One question though. Do you fold the cheesecloth multiple times or just leave it as one layer?
If you have a large piece of cheese cloth, I would fold it as many times as you can, it will stop small curds fro slipping through! Happy cheese making, no more chees brought chese for you right?
The Hobbyist You can leave it in one layer
Does the cheese taste of lemon t all or even a tiny bit of lemon taste??
Flour sack towels work better. Plus they are reuseable. It cuts the cost a lot and you don't lose any of the curds.
Roast garlic with olive oil, salt, pepper, a litteral pinch of cardamon, 1/8 tsp of tumeric and then put in 2 bay leaf, thyme Nd rosmary last 2-3 mins and put to the side. Make the cheese and roll the garlic In the cheese in the cloth and then let it drain once well and serve.
U can also compress it a little bit to firm it, and then soak it in salted olive oil.
Does Fresh grapefruit juice work
that was amazing. had I known it was that easy I would have done this so long ago. I need this for my daughter since she can't have dairy. I figured I'd try goats milk instead and see how she reacts to it. I believe goats milk is healthier for you anyway.
Aim for Junnah worship1 Yep
Can I use lime instead?
Do you need the lemons?
you can use vinegar too
I like it thanks
Can you use powdered goats milk?
Thank
Can you freeze the goat cheese after it is made?
Can I replace lemon juice with vegetable rennet?
How long we can keep this
Just wanted to know if you pasteurized it beforehand?
no
nice
Yum and so easy thank you can’t wait to get my Nubian dwarfs
I will definitely try this. How many made it to 2024? Happy new year y'all❤
Thank you beautiful. you've taught me how to make cheese.
I tried this today, it did not work at all so I'm not sure where I went wrong. I pasturized the milk at 165 degrees, cooled it to about 80 degrees, then added the fresh lemon juice-no curds.
Does it taste like store bought goat cheese?
I made a gallon of fresh goats milk & 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice but has few small curds. How long should I wait for curds to form?
She said one to two minutes but I hear people leave it out 72 degrees for 6-12 hours.
Can you press this cheese in a cheese press to make a hard cheese from it?
Judy LeSueur sure. But it crumbles a little bit
Hey so about a week ago i bought goat cheese from walmart right? and well i got home i literally made everyone in my house try it.. well im sorry but literally all 6 of us were on the edge of throwing up.. BUT! I went back to walmart the next week to try other stuff and my gf made fun of me saying "Hey babe here is some more goat cheese, hahaaa " and i felt it like lol and i realized this was less squichy than the last one since the one i ate was really really squishy point is? Does goat cheese taste old and feel kind of dusty? mothy kind of? or could it have been expired???
It should be creamy when in a block and can be very sticky. crumbled will be a little dryer but it still should melt in your mouth and have a creamy consistency. Your walmart cheese sounds like it was expired, if possible get your cheese from local or reputable stores.
good fresh goat cheese are taste NICE but there is many different brand and ME TOTALLY GOAT DAIRY PRODUCT EATER can tell you it is big different from cheese to cheese depending of the brand and whether it is soft or hard. each should taste pleasant AT LEAST say about it. Yours must been expired....
@José, You ACTUALLY made them try it. Literal is the opposite of figurative. It wouldn't make sense to say you figuratively made them taste it, so literally can't be used either. Teens, please learn proper English!
so yummy
Can you do this with raw cows milk too?
Yes, milk is milk as long it's of a desired animal. Not all goats make delicious milk. Also, some people do not like milk of a goat or cow that is free range as what it eats directly reflects the taste of its milk. Good for thought.
andrea a Of course. It comes out awesome if is fresh from the cow
That was quick
Wounderfull
How does it tastes. And how much you sell it for if you want to
Nice. Thank you
I love this lady and how she explained everything. I have been milking my two new mothers since March and storing it in the freezer. I am running out of freezer space ! So, it's time to make some cheese.
I prefer aged goat cheese but I don’t think you can age this cheese without the proper bacteria. Have you tried?
What can I substitute for lemon juice? Can I use Vinegar instead?
yes you can
apple cider vinegar half cup.
I bet that would taste wonderful on a bagel with some lox.
I made my first batch 1 hallow raw goats milk and 1 cup lemon juice I brought milk up to 180 degrees my curds are very small compared to yours why did it happen my whey is still very white and I have 3/4 gallon of whey and 1 3/4 cup of cheese curds pressed I put it back on and brought temp to 185 and got another 1/2 cup of very small curds both are hanging now to dry what should I do differently
I also get smaller curds than this, maybe my acids weren't strong enough
Is this called chevire cheese?
