    congrats! i started following you when you had the jsb vette. i have one as well and tried the n/a route and now sc. best of 10.54@134 with 10psi. much more to learn and go. my previous car was a coyote since I'm a mustang guy at heart so they have a special place. i may go back once ford starts using the 10 sp auto.

    how does the powerglide handle regular driving duties? thought the clip at the end was cool

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety

      +Dalton Villnave Handles it just fine. My daily commute is almost 70 miles round trip and the car does fine. It's obviously not as comfy as a car off the showroom floor but it does just fine. If I turn the shocks down, it actually rides very good.

    • @daltonvillnave8601
      @daltonvillnave8601 Před 8 lety

      +JUIC3D good deal. was looking to keep the stock 6sp auto and build it because i wasnt sure of the powerglide would handle dd duties well.

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety

      +Dalton Villnave 6R80 is fine, just keep power around 1100whp max. Otherwise, i would probably go th400 for daily driving but it wont be as fast as a glide

      +GSS342 Thank you. I haven't weighed it yet. I would guess around 3600lbs

    Love the car man! Always look forward to seeing what you've been up to with it! Question though. Do you cruise it with the e98 or do you run some 93 octane and just load up a tune for that?

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety +1

      +mdog33333 All ethanol all the time :)

    • @mdog33333
      @mdog33333 Před 8 lety

      +JUIC3D Nice! I run e85 since it's at the pump and only running $1.60/gallon right now. What's e98 running you a gallon?

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety +1

      +mdog33333 I get it from my friends over at Induction Performance. I can't say what I pay but they take care of me and it's not as expensive as you might think :)

  • @MrJhuttar

    Got a quick question. How well will id1300's run 93 pump gas? I currently have id1000's, but I just don't think they'll be enough for my whp goal. I'll be running a high octane race fuel on my high hp tune and 93 on the low hp tune. There are no e85 pump around here to just go to e85 for my low hp tune. Thanks man.

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety

      +josh huttar they'll work just fine. Depending on power goals, they'll do well north of 1100whp

    • @MrJhuttar
      @MrJhuttar Před 8 lety

      +JUIC3D the id1000's will?

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety

      +josh huttar No, the 1300s

    • @MrJhuttar
      @MrJhuttar Před 8 lety

      +JUIC3D my goal hp just keeps going up lol. It was 1000whp, now I'm thinking about throwing a 100-150 shot to it, which I'm sure you already know with forced induction a 100 shot should put down more than 100whp. I guess my injectors or my t56 magnum will be my limiting factors..

    Question why is the car still have the stock ECU ?

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety

      Because that's the computer I run

    • @SilentMovements305
      @SilentMovements305 Před 8 lety

      Doesn't that hurt your performance ?

    • @jordanperformance
      @jordanperformance  Před 8 lety +1

      +David Lopez Not really - only hindrance is the 8200 rev limit and limited ability to add stuff like driveshaft rpm and other important sensors. I have a fix for both of those in the works though so it's not a big deal.
