you could also use this pattern for a mask holder, just dont leave the gap, and you could have a co-ordinating set of hand sanitzer and mask, with holder to hang on your bag. I already make a similar set and call them Covid 19 Bag buddies.

Great pattern. I am assuming you are using 1/4 inch seams, is this correct
no i just had my machine set for a regular straight stitch, in the middle position, you can use 1/4 inch if you prefer
