  • This is a quick fabric scrap buster, which makes a great little gift.
    You will need a sewing machine, thread and a small quantity of fabric.

    I remember making these in my church girls' club for Christmas gifts for people in a local nursing home. Now that I'm old, I find I use these little packets in my purse or pocket and thought I'd refresh my memory on how to make them. They will make nice little gifts for my old lady friends!

    Several (non-tutorial) directions don't even give you those small yet very beneficial details like; reinforcement stitch, nor the fold in the middle guide tip either that makes it so much more easier and better quality. Thank you!!

    Great tutorial, I had seen some other tutorials where the tissue holders a bit small for the tissue packs in the UK, maybe in the UK tissue packs are a wee bit bigger, who knows.
    I will certainly make some for friends and family. Many thanks

    I've been looking for something simple to make for my local animal charity Christmas fair in a couple of weeks. These wee tissue holders look to be just the ticket, especially as none of the stitching is showing on the outside, as it is with other You Tube videos. Many thanks.

    • @carolcooper8010
      @carolcooper8010 Před 5 lety

      I'm making them for exactly the same reason. A better idea though is not to make them big enough to take a package of tissues - just make them big enough for a half dozen folded tissues taken from a big box. This is more environmentally friendly (no plastic packaging) and also more economical.
