Which is odd, because, where I live, this came on Saturday mornings on CBS and was the last cartoon to air on the block before the Saturday afternoon stuff like sports and general interest shows (you know, travel magazine shows, cooking shows, and informercials) came on
I FINNALY FOUND IT AFTER SEARCHING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR XD. I was typeing eveeeerything in google and youtube, I specificly remember the episode with dinosaurs.
It's not really like Gravity Falls at all. All kids cartoon shows are bizarre, you might as well have said is was like Mucha Lucha or Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island. A better comparison would have been the Magic School bus since they both have reality altered in order to teach a lesson based on whatever the kids are learning that week in school.
Nelvana Limited of course as the staff, same for other programs on PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch, Eek! The Cat or Eek! Stravaganza, Magic School Bus, Babar and Rupert
This show randomly just popped into my mind and I couldn't remember it, I was beginning to think it was fake... Now I'm here and this show had a banger theme!
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, YTV was phenomenal in the 90s and early 2000s. Checking out all the themes of the shows I used to watch on Teletoon, YTV, Treehouse, and even Family Channel really takes me back. Almost feel like a kid again rewatching things like Stickin' Around, Uh-Oh, Crazy Quilt, Big Comfy Couch, Robo Roach, The Tofus, Cybersix, Ollie's Adventures, and Prank Patrol... Being a kid in Canada in that time was great. What I would give to experience it all again.
I don't remember anything from this show except for whenever I would come back from preschool, my now deceased grandmother would make me tea with sugar, dunking in a small piece of bread with cottage cheese and a tomato on top while we wacthed this together. I miss her so much and only hope and pray she is happy where she is.
Going down some memory lane tonight and this came back to mind with Mona The Vampire and Fillmore. Still remember this show being a fever dream at times.
I can't believe this is actually real. I thought it was just a set of unrelated memories of other cartoons that congealed into a mixed up fever dream type thing.
Man I remember hearing that song every Saturday morning in 2001 when my younger sister and brother would watch Saturday morning cartoons. I actually liked the song. I was 15 years old at that time.
Blimey I miss Canadian cartoons. They don't make them like they used to. Remember seeing this on Cartoon Network UK every weekend mornings. Good times!
It's been 15 years since I saw this. Now I suddenly remembered it when I was thinking of the Lego movie. The "Everything is Awesome" song bears a bit of a resemblance to this song.
This would make for a good robot chicken parody.rhinoceras principle, kid's lives are threatened nearly every day at school, fedora and cape wearing virgin edgelord in the basement
I vividly remember the episode where they're at the Olympics in Anciant Greece and have to beat Achilles in a foot race so they use psychological tactics to get in his head and make him think his heel is in extreme pain.
oh my god this show was my ABSOLUTE JAM back in the day I love it so so muchand the instrumentation in this theme song is absolutely phenomenal & i wish the instrumental version they played during the credits went on a little longer...YEAH ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!AT FLYING RHINO JUNIOR HIGH!!!
Such a great show. I never understood much of it back then, but to me it was awesome entertainment nonetheless. One of the first shows I started watching when we got YTV way back then, and still remember bits and pieces of the episodes from this show. Wish they made good shows like this still.
I remember watching this on CBS in the late 90s. I think it was mostly around 1999-2000. It's one of the many short-lived animated series I remember that existed.
Digimon emperor who spent the majority of his time in a dark basement type room surrounded by screens, with his little pet, my subconscious knew I had seen that before somewhere else.
Fun fact: In the Latin American Spanish dubbing of the series, the voice actor of The Phantom is the same that voiced Eddy on Ed, Edd n Eddy. Both characters even sound the same.
Cartoon Network UK back in the day. It was usually on in the After school slot when the younger kids got home first then moved to 11ish when everyone was at school.
Oh man, I love this show! :D Shame it's not on TV anymore.. or...often. I remember seeing it on once a few months ago. I would love watching it as a kid, and, heck, I still would like to see it on TV.
I can't sleep goes downstairs and watches the magic roundabout fat dog sailor moon neds newt and flying rhino jr high and falls asleep on the floor ahh good times
I remember watching reruns of the show on Saturday mornings along with Timothy goes to school around 2012 or 2013, cant remember which channel i watched them on
This was such a "I'm only watching it because I'm staying home from school today" kind of show.
Which is odd, because, where I live, this came on Saturday mornings on CBS and was the last cartoon to air on the block before the Saturday afternoon stuff like sports and general interest shows (you know, travel magazine shows, cooking shows, and informercials) came on
Ahhh yes, the faking sick and staying home days and watching day time television. Those were the days 😂
For real 😂😂
Y'know, for the longest time, I thought I dreamed this show.
It was very obscure. I remember it being on Cartoon Network when I was a kid but it only aired extremely early, something like 6:00 in the morning.
I FINNALY FOUND IT AFTER SEARCHING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR XD. I was typeing eveeeerything in google and youtube, I specificly remember the episode with dinosaurs.
Omfg me too its 6 am and i am loosing my mind
I did remember an episode involving a sewer alligator or crocodile
You and me both. I swear daytime tv shows I watched as a kindergartener still feel like a fever dream whenever I try to remember them.
Idk why this randomly popped into my head but here we are again after all these years lmao
It's a good day when i look up something obscure and see Jax in the comments
This show was like the most glorious mix of a prototype Wayside with Gravity Falls.
God bless you YTV.
+Milan P. what does this have to do with Gravity Falls?!
+Eugen Puiu The weirdness and bizareness.
Also the Phantom looks like Grunkle Stan and his twin
+The MilanToon Channel YES I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS ON YTV, AND I REALLY MISS THIS SHOW!
@@MilanPofCrotoonia The Phantom kind of reminds of Gideon in that they're both chubby, ineffectual dorks who come up with silly schemes that backfire.
Ah, the days when Canadian animation was gold.
You said it
I now wish we actually produced good cartoons like this
Nelvana Limited of course as the staff, same for other programs on PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch, Eek! The Cat or Eek! Stravaganza, Magic School Bus, Babar and Rupert
This show randomly just popped into my mind and I couldn't remember it, I was beginning to think it was fake...

This was me today, man. Madness.

I know tell me about it this was what I literally watched back when Canadian TV was good especially Cartoons
Blimey I miss Canadian cartoons. They don't make them like they used to. Remember seeing this on Cartoon Network UK every weekend mornings. Good times!
I love how the intro alone summarize how batshit insane that show was XD
I’ve FINALY been able to figure out what this show was after trying to Google it many times. I could only vaguely remember it.
use to watch this everyday on YTV when i came home for lunch break during my elementary school days :) such good memories
I only got to see it on Thursdays when we got out at 11 am but I know the feeling you have!
I know why does YTV suck so hard now
We used to get awsome shit like teen titans airing on there
Now we have shit like sidekick and numbchucks
+ColdfacekillerJr PSN and anime
Me too

The good times. Saturday mornings on CBS.
Another one for the files of Flying Rhino 💾
The golden era of canadian animation
They recently made The Raccoons
This show flickered into my mind after, what? 23 years? How bizarre. What a fever dream of a show.
This intro is an absolute bop! I love it! 😀👍
It's been 15 years since I saw this. Now I suddenly remembered it when I was thinking of the Lego movie. The "Everything is Awesome" song bears a bit of a resemblance to this song.
Woahhh, Major nostalgia trip. I forgot this even existed. Memories.
For some inexplicable reason, this theme has been drifting around in my head recently.
This would make for a good robot chicken parody.rhinoceras principle, kid's lives are threatened nearly every day at school, fedora and cape wearing virgin edgelord in the basement
Got a bad case of nostalgia and looking up intros to cartoons. Fine way to spend a monday methinks
I vividly remember the episode where they're at the Olympics in Anciant Greece and have to beat Achilles in a foot race so they use psychological tactics to get in his head and make him think his heel is in extreme pain.
This was a really cool, adventurous show. *sighs* I had such a great childhood.
the principal is a rhino and no one's asking why
lmao

Randomly, the song came to mind today and looks like I'm not the only one who's had this phenomenon.
It's so hard to make educational shows entertaining. This one nailed it.
This show was so good, but so hard to catch on TV . Only could watch it when I was home sick or something. Great theme song
ohh how much I miss this show
F-L-Y-I-N-G R-H-I-N-O

Out of all the cartoons I used to watch as a child, this is the ONLY ONE my mum cannot remember.
This song lingers in my head all the time. Such a catchy theme, and was an awesome show.

Debatable. I remember seeing this on CBS in the late 1990s.
MAN! Shows like this, Hey Arnold!, Brady's Beasts, and so on were the ish!
they still air this on YTV!!! i watched it this mourning when i had a day off of school, and browsing the tv guide
This show brings back memories.
A strange hybrid of Wayside and Gravity Falls is totally right. I guess it's a fun cartoon.
This show is the origin of one of my phobias, but i can't actually hate it, it was a good show.
Perona what phobia
being trapped inside a living being, that one episode about being inside the phantom's body was horrifying to me when i was a kid.
The 90s certainly saw some crazy shows.
The rat used to give me nightmares but then he became a favorite! LOL
This show is so nostalgic. I was 8 years old when I saw it.
Dude, this show is still on where I live.
I watched it the other day :D
Bailey Christie which channel?
It's strange that I had to wake up everyday at 5am in the morning as a child to watch this show.

I LOVED THIS :D it was so much fun! I've been trying to remember the title for years.
Ahh what a good show. So glad there was no school today :DDD
The Phantom thinks it's funny, all the stuff he puts us through! He thinks he's such a genius, but he hasn't got a clue!
SILENCE!!!
Oh man, I love this show! :D Shame it's not on TV anymore.. or...often. I remember seeing it on once a few months ago. I would love watching it as a kid, and, heck, I still would like to see it on TV.
I remember this one sending in Spain when I was minus ten years old. Among them "Marmalade Boy", "Sophie & Virginie", "Big Guy & Rusty".
Can you imagine watching this AND Wayside back-to-back?
SILENCE!
I love the ways he shouts that.
I can't sleep goes downstairs and watches the magic roundabout fat dog sailor moon neds newt and flying rhino jr high and falls asleep on the floor ahh good times
This show had the qualities of 80s and 90s Saturday Morning cartoons, which IMO were the Golden Age of cartoons am I right?
This WAS a 90s Saturday morning cartoon, 1998 or 1999 I think.
For this show I used to endure the torture of "Fat dog Mendoza". Yes, this show was THAT good.
I bet the Nostalgia critic would love to see this
My Spyro loving ass keeps hearing this as Flying Rhynoc Junior High.
I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS BECAUSE I USED TO GO HOME FOR LUNCH DURING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!
The glory days of cartoons. Newer stuff is absolute balls.
