We were fortunate to be able to join the local Brompton New York Group to celebrate Brompton's one millionth produced bicycle. Not only that, I was able to ride many bikes as the bikes were rotated! A lovely day for a ride with many riders representing the local Brompton community.

Men I wish I could have done that ride. I’m still waiting for mine to show up at Mike’s Bikes is who I ordered mine threw in Sacrameto California is where I’m at.
That was a cool route you guys took. When the 1millionth Brompton came to DC we went on a very short ride from Georgetown to the Hirschorn museum. Only 3.2 miles. It was fun to see the bike and meet some new people, but I wanted to ride together more😅
Also, very much appreciated that video doesn’t have blaring music

It was interesting to see how everyone's brompton had so much characters, too!
That guy on the motorcycle is crazy: riding bike lanes using internal combustion engine moped, using ramp and causing traffic so cyclists got to carry bikes in hands, and after that speeding on the bike line. Crazy. Don't be like him /I know followers of BFT are not like him, that is why we have Bromptons)/.

Lately,i hate being in NY and upon retirement cant wait to move. I see events like this and it makes me forget about all the craziness -it makes me want to stay here.

そうなんですよ。。。何度もいろんな人にMillionthを乗らないか？と聞いて回ったんですけどね。自転車と自撮りはするけど乗るのはちょっと。。。という人が多かったです。自分の自転車が一番という人や、「転けたらヤバい、傷つけたらどうしたらいい。。。』という人もいました。私もよく変な動きをしてしまう方なのでドキドキしながら乗りました。

Honestly, bikes coming from the "wrong direction" in a town, is a nuisance for all the traffic! I my home Denmark we do use double direction bike passes, but mostly outside towns! In towns we have passes in both sides of a road! Finn. Denmark
It's unbelievable how aggressive some of the illegal greenway motorcyclists are. It's hard to walk up those steps with a bicycle, let alone a motorbike.

The Brompterfest is an annual ride that is hosted by Brompton. You can find the group on the Meetup App.
Do you like that style of bar extensions? What are they most useful for?
My Spirgrips? I don't use the normal grip anymore. The spirgrips are more comfortable.
What shoes do u use for riding? I see Shoko using the adidas 5.
I use Crocs all year long. In the winter I wear overboots on top of them.
@@BromptonFamilyTime how do the crocs compare to the adidas 5? I am contemplating whether to get a proper cycling shoe like the adidas 5..
Shoko is wearing the Adidas 5 and doesn't wear Crocs so she can't offer her opinion. I am a die hard Croc wearer so I wear them.
@ shu ...which gopro mount you took for that ride ... i only saw your jacket ...
I wear a chest mount under my jacket. I try to make it not noticable.
As a Dane I sadly haven't met a single other Brompton user ever (I'm not on Facebook or the like) but I certainly would like to be able to participate in happenings like this, at intervals!!! Mine is a now, much less weighing than the former Top, 2019 Superlight 6 speed. Finn. Denmark 🥲
