- Hello friends! Today I'm sharing my bathroom makeover! Our bathroom used to be boring, drab, and gray; but with a little paint, some thrift store finds, and a whole lotta drive, I turned it into a quirky cottagecore grandma kitsch bathroom and I LOVE it. It's so much brighter and it finally has a personality.

I'm in my 60's and I can say that perfection is over rated. I can also say that any imperfection you see, no one else will. Just be happy with what you have accomplished because that is what life is about. Your bathroom is beautiful.
Tbh it looks better than I thought a bathroom could ever look. I admire your patience and attention to detail - paint job nothing, look at all the little decorative accents composed perfectly! What a fun place to start and end one's day in :)

Oh my gosh! This is the happiest, most endorphin-boosting bathroom I’ve ever seen! Oh, I just love it so much! Amazed how sunny and bright you were able to make it, just wow!

I love it. Yes to warm colors!! You did a great job. That's my kind of shower curtain. Dear God, I absolutely hate gray anything. Give me antique ivory or beige any day on the walls, I don't care what the "experts" say. I'm so glad to be seeing the wheel turn again back to the warm and earthier palette. I heard somewhere that the powers that be determine these things years in advance and once it happens, good luck in finding the colors you love. I know I look better in the "spring" colors in makeup and clothes. I'm also partial to fall colors. I love peach and salmon-colored lipsticks. What you've done takes me back to better times and reminds me so much of my mom's choices, including the warmer colored maple wood furniture back in the day (which you can still find in very good shape and thank God for thrift stores), the lamps, the antique drapes my mom always liked, the flower prints, etc. My mom actually went through different phases over time, like French Provencial (light blue and mauve and tiny prints). She wall papered a lot also. It drove my dad nuts. She also went through a Primitive Shaker type thing later on, not my favorite, lol. Anyway, thanks so much for the good memories of my growing up years and my hardworking mom and dad!!

This is the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. The white is fresh and clean, the trim is pretty and soothing, and the accents all feel like they should go together and don't feel fussy, they look so pretty and relaxing. An all round stunning job, you should be very proud. (P.S wanna come do my bathroom for me? 😁)

It's lovely. Very retro pink, and does remind me of my grandmother's old bathroom. Another thing you could do, is frost that pink cabinet's window, so it looks cleaner with the bottles "more mysterious." You can use simple contact paper from the kitchen section or the hardware section. It would be like a $3-5 roll for that renovation. The "Frosted" glass in the cabinet would match the makeover perfectly.
Yes! I am planning to add some sort of frosted something to that glass! Such a good idea ☺️

I’m stealing your ideas. This is beautiful and very soothing. Never though about painting the trim a pastel color. I have coral towels I got because I loved the color. The wallpaper is a nice punch without being overwhelming.

Lovely. I would however paint the door on the cabinet sink also. New towels and paint the hanging cabinet so you can't see all of your goodies. Lovely wallpaper too and shower curtain

Our 1949 house had a pink tub (and toilet that unfortunately was cracked) when we moved in. We've embraced the pink and I can't imagine not having it - love the pink!

I totally love the 40's/50's cute kinda country cottage or grandma bathroom look your bathroom got with the makeover. The only thing your bathroom is missing is like some 50's chalkware fish or flowers hanging on a wall.

Love the whole thing. I used these same colors in a guest bathroom but had accents of grey also. Im a dragonfly totem as well as otters to love the paper and the shower curtain. Your top you arw wearing and you yourself are beautiful and made your bathroom reveal over the top special.

LOVE!!!! this is a happy bathroom!!! i certainly don't have the money or resources to renovate or knock walls down but you have shown a total transformation on a budget! this is amazing and i'm the same, not a perfectionist and little patience but this is do(able)!!! looks great!!!!

I feel you with that medicine cabinet. I hate those type of cabinets and we had one in our bathroom before our remodel. I love how your bathroom turned out. It is so cute!
They're so ugly and clunky! I'm so happy with ripping it out, lol.
The bathroom in our manufactured home here in the cooperative had one of those monster medicine cabinets. First day I'm in there poking around, planning the great re-do, I go to open the heavy, mirrored THING and it jumps off the wall and I just barely manage to catch it, averting a glass shard apocalypse to all but one shelf, which slid out the front and took a crumpling ricochet off the vanity. Some brain trust of a previous owner had hung that thing without any anchors into the not-studs part of the only sheetrock in the house--no doubt just to make the bathroom their idea of sellable. I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. The glass monster had attempted to get rid of me, so I figure turnabout was fair play.
