- Hello everyone! Another video from France! I’ve been looking forward to sharing this video with you! Last year when I went to Giverny, Monet’s home, no one is allowed to Plein air paint in the grounds. I had so wanted to paint his special pond and bridge. What delight to be able to paint last summer at Les Jardins D’eau, in southern France. For my workshop we spent an afternoon painting this near replica of Monet’s pond and bridge. I hope you enjoy this video as I packed it with useful information for your next Plein air outing.

Cadmium Yellow LIght

• Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits-

Brushes:
I prefer Flats, sizes 2, 4, 6, & 8 and 12 Flat or Flibert Bristle and Synthetic
I have a few small angled brushes and some small round detail brushes
A container to hold brushes
Small tri-angled palette knife, for cleaning the palette or sometimes for painting
Painting Box:
• Some videos, Open Box M
Other:
Paper towels
Odorless Mineral Spirit container
Palette Cup container
Bungee cord to hold paper towels
Plein Air Umbrella (I prefer White, silver is also fine)
Back Pack to carry every thing

Jessica, first of all...I've been following you for a while before I subscribed to your channel. You are admirable!!! not only as an artist, but also for your boldness and willingness to venture the way you do. I have bought some of the tools you described in your video about your equipment. But at that time you didn't have the brush holder that you use in this tutorial. I would be interested if possible, for the benefit of all, in your next video you could tell us how to get it. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Sorry I missed this! The guy I bought it from has a shop on Etsy. It’s often closed, but he’ll open it sometimes. His platform is “Smart Art Products” and it’s called the Jumbo Clip On Brush Holder by John Larsen. I still love mine after all these months. I hope it helps!
