Good job! Richard. Waiting for the update of TRIMM for a long time!
Hi Ray, thanks! I hope that you found it helpful.
He's 74!! Incredible
Hi Calumn, Thanks for your comment. I agree, really fit and sharp!
Very informative video. Good moderation and great so see Mr. Fahy elaborating on the topic in high detail.
Greetings from Germany and Russia
Hi Thanks! It was great to get the details and hear how close he is to getting in the clinic!
Another outstanding guest Richard, thank you for sharing.
Hi Pierre, thanks!
Dr. Fay has a realistic clinical plan. I like that !
Hi thanks! It is good to hear. So few rejuvenation therapies are this close.
Thank for the update! Great discussion!
Hi Olya, thanks! Great to see you.
Well done, Richard, you get some remarkable interviews.
Hi Anthony, thanks! I am very grateful to Dr Fahy for coming on our channel.
Great guest, very interesting discussion ❤
Hi Thanks!
So if this works, imagine how incredibly much stronger one can make it. Light/laser on thymus, pemf on thymus, both massivly trigger stem cell growth in the thymus, and growth factors like igf, then add thymus glandular loaded with thymus peptide n the raw materials for growth (plus his protocol). This is what im doing now
Hi Stefan thanks for sharing. It sounds quite comprehensive!
@@ModernHealthspan im doing the same on my heart, but adding heart glandulars after, almost cured my "begining of heart faliure" symtoms
How interesting! By light/laser, do you mean red light therapy?
@@Always-xl9db yes. But I also bought a laser 5 years ago, before red light therapy became popular. So now i use both, as laser cant hit big areas but are alot more potent. So i do laser on organs (heart/thymus/thyroid/testicles) and red light for whole body. Are cheaper ones from china if you wanna buy, 1/3d of the price of regular shops
Throw in the thymus thump. 100% anecdotal but interesting af. Just beat your chest (over thymus area, upper sternum) with fists like a great ape.
Search: "thymus thump".
Now this is the good stuff!
Greg I think you’re gonna learn a lot about human nature people want to live as the world goes by. There is going to be so many of these longevity things people want simple and they want it now the reason why a lot of us don’t have time to wait. I appreciate all you’ve done for the human race and what you’re doing, I’ve been sick for almost 5 years. No energy. I’m looking for something to help me now not tomorrow. I wish you the best. I hope everything works out well for you. Just remember Tesla who electricity died broke be careful.
With complex new technologies like this,,, enjoy the longer single segment video... ;-) thanks
Hi Roger, thanks! Yes, we decided that this format probably works best and will continue, though I will release key segments as clips for those who prefer that.
I suppose some new oral therapy is good for people who can't or won't exercise. But a few years ago Prof Jant Lord showed that older long term exercisers had preserved thymic function and immune function which was equivalent to people 2 to 3 decades younger. Maintaining a lean body may also help preserve thymus if I recall Prof Lord correctly. Exercise has broad effects across the body - brain, immune function, muscles, heart, vasculature, etc. Haven't seen anything that comes close in the research literature. And TriimX is not exception, although research in how thymus function can be manipulated can fill in knowledge gaps.
And have you noticed that people who exercise become 100 years old? This is the real question and personally unfortunately I did not find this correlation . . .
@@lucaswendel2089 where did you look? My main point is that immune and thymic function was preserved along with many other benefits. So don't need TriimX.
Hi Peter, thanks for sharing. I think long term exercise has so many benefits and it would not surprise me that it also helps preserve the thymus so I am all for it. A couple of thoughts on it though, for many people in middle age it would already be too late and even for young people getting everyone to regularly exercise for the whole of their lives is difficult. The second thing is that there are limits to what can be achieved with lifestyle interventions. Can this therapy go beyond that? It is worth trying.
@@ModernHealthspan Understand, but the Triim trial and Fahy aren't doing comparative assessments. And Triimx is totally unknown for long term. If I had to choose one or the other to do the next 10 years plus, it would clearly be exercise. And no, I don't think you have to exercise from a young age. I just turned 70 and have exercises daily for last 12 years. My Levine PhenoAge is consistently low 50s, far better delta Age than TriimX showed. But I am just one person. There is also research in cardiovascular arena which shows that 2 or more years of exercise ( a particular regime) slows reversal of heart stiffening and many other improvements. I think one just needs to check the right biomarkers.
Hi Peter, could you link the studies?@@peterz53
I apply the same protocol on my parents. Plus whole food mostly plant based diet. They are 70 now, look and feel better than when they were 60. Father's hair got a bit darker too.
My parents are 70. They eat mostly plants and exercise regularly. They are active. I'm trying to get them to do NAD+ intravenously, it really helped me at ages 40-45 and I'll keep doing it as much as I can afford to. ($700 a session.)
My grandmother lived to be 90 and only got dementia because she isolated herself (strong-willed, too proud to 'mingle') and ate cheesebread and tea and her kidneys failed at age 85. We pulled her back by cooking her meals but from then on she lost her faculties and spent two years in a nursing home. She used to say, "If there was a pill for aging I'd take it!"
Well, grandma, we're working on it.
When I enquired about a year ago, Dr Fahy did not accept people who have had cancer in his trials because human growth hormone might spark cancer. Participants were expected to pay for their HGH which is very expensive. These comments are not meant to detract from Dr Fahy's interesting results but to alert potential volunteers.
Hi thanks for sharing. Yes, from his answers it is clear that cancer risk is one of the qualifications. And I know some people were caught by surprise by the cost last time which is why I asked about it in this video. (If you didn't get to that part he estimated about $18,000 for the complete year's treatment.)
@@ModernHealthspan Ha, ha. Indeed, I did drop out. I have hopes for other programs to rebuild our immune system, including someone you interviewed recently who thinks his lab is within a couple of years of FDA approval. HGH is too dangerous and expensive for me to want to try it out and I would not advise my friends to try this either.
@@msplateaugaltry extended fasting. It's also free...and will actually save you money!
I was trying to mimic tris trial at home about a year ago. Instead of HGH I used Serovital - which is over the counter, promises to increase HGH 8 times by supplying essential amino acids. Bu the effect of it, I think it works. I increased sauna use and exercise, Berberine instead of Metformin, which is easy to buy. DHEA, Zinc, Vitamin D is easy as well. I felt great and may do it again, the only drawback is you can’t quantify the before and after effect, but it would make sense if it had positive effect. Costs nearly nothing to do.
@@Always-xl9db What effects did this have to make you think it works? Why did you stop? Is NMN or NR in your stack?
What are the dosages and types of the HGH, metformin, and dhea?
And what is the new novel ingredient he recently added into his mix?
You could try mk-677 a hgh secretgog at 10 mg at night add dhea 50 mg and zinc and metformin or berbarine
I believe it was dhea 50 mg and 500 mg metformin
Hey, I would sign up. Sounds beyond intruguing.
Like Peter Atia mentioned. There seems to be a key difference between acute mtor activation vs chronic activation.
Hi Martin, thanks for sharing. It makes sense. It think there may be too much focus on down regulating mTOR and an intermittent strategy could work.
I emailed to see if I could take part some time ago but I have IBS-D which would disqualify me.
Seems like using peptides to boost endogenous production and secretion of GH and support the thymus would work here...
Ipamorelin, CJC1295, Thymosin alpha 1, .and Thymosin beta 4 perhaps?
I wonder if the thymus is the origin of the small molecules that Dr. Harald Katcher is working on. It certainly would explain a lot of the marvellous effects found in simply giving people human growth hormone.
Hi Greg,
Could you use gene therapy to only activate Growth Hormone (or products downstream of GH) in the thymus and not the rest of the body?
Given heat exposure's effect on HGH, I wonder whether it could have a similar effect. Maybe there is at least some epidemiology looking at thymus function in long-term sauna users?
Hi thanks for your comment. I should have asked whether the doses used would be possible to get through lifestyle. It would be interesting to see if chronic sauna use helped retain the thymus.
@@ModernHealthspan There is a doctor in my country who says he reversed his thymus decline slightly just by doing IF, which is known to raise the GH.
@@jb_1971 that sounds like a very safe way to increase GH.
@@jb_1971 May I ask what country you are in? Or rather, could you please share or tell me if it happens to be Canada?
@@lighthealerastrid1465 Nope, it's Poland
How do I participate in the next batch of TRIIM trials?
Where is the internet LINK to this study?? I want to study it carefully.
I'm watching this with my fingers crossed hoping you'll ask him about his collaboration with Harold Katcher. It's been radio silence on E5 for too long.
Nothing new on that front (I think). But that's not very surprising, I tried asking Dr. Katcher, Akshay, snooping around, looking at different possible sources of fresh information, but everyone's silent. Akshay said something about an update that was supposed to come by the end of this month but still nothing, they might finally have ran out of money as this always seemed to be a limiting factor. As for Dr. K, I really don't know how he would fund his new venture anyway, judging by how difficult it was for him the first time. Maybe someone else will pick it up as there has been a slight increase in attention towards exosomes from some other researchers, but it's still very fragile and I wouldn't bet on it, which is sad as this is one of the most promising treatments for aging (cost, effectiveness, safety, time to human trials, etc).
@@unutilisateur4729 I was under the impression Akshay and Katcher had parted ways, and that Katcher was now working directly with Fahy at Intervene immune.
Hi Ben, thanks for your comment. We did not discuss Dr Katcher and E5 in this video, I don't think that the plan for Dr Fahy to organize the dog trial went forward. I am in touch with the people at Yuvan and hope to have something soon to share.
@@ModernHealthspan That's such a shame to learn it hasn't gone ahead. Thank you for responding.
I'm glad to hear you may have something for us soon. Are you prepared to venture whether there is at least cause to be optimistic here? It feels like something potentially incredibly significant for the human race is being hamstrung by personalities, economics and red tape. :(
Katcher and Akshay have parted ways.
Wish he was a bit more transparent about some of the details he spoke to. I’m curious what additional compound he uses with carnitine supplementation and if he has concerns about increased fatty plaques in arteries when supplementing long term?
Q. Please. Doesn’t Growth Hormone stimulate Cancer growth🤔
So, if sex hormones contribute to thymus involution, what about older individuals on HRT? Do they have any of these people in their trial? With what effects?
Hi Richard and Greg - this is great. Not mentioned but is a control group in TRIMX? These compounds from many other studies with control groups show benefit. But always the placebo effect where the mind with taking a pill becomes positive so this can then make one feel better and that causes body changes and improvements. So if have control group can then fully understand what benefits are from compounds and then if any placebo benefits? The aging clocks show benefit as mentioned here but are fully from compounds or maybe some from placebo? Thanks on any update on this.
Hi Michael, thanks for reminding me! Dr Fahy has spoken about controls in TRIIM-X before and it was on my list of questions but I forgot to ask it (interviews don't always go exactly as I planned!). Given the heavy intervention with the participants I am sure it is not blinded. I will try reaching out to Dr Fahy and see if he can cover it in email.
Hi Michael, Dr Fahy got back to me on the controls. They did have 4 controls but 2 were lost to follow up. Of the two that completed, one had no treatment and the other had DHEA and metformin but no GH. Neither showed the same benefits as the treated group, but the n=1 means that not much can be taken from this. As mentioned in the video TRIIM-XB is now in progress and they do have controls but too early to report on.
I think I heard before that they charge over $20,000 to participate in the studies, so that rules out a control arm. No one would pay to be in a control group, and anyway if you are doing a blind control study all participants would need to be paid
Why wouldn't they substitute (or add) the Sermorelin peptide instead of straight GH?
Isn't that an OBVIOUS answer to the side effects??
My only suspicion is whether his hair is dyed. But even if it is, the results are still solid and finally involve actual humans, not mice.
I AM 67 AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING WRONG. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR THREE
MONTHS. I CAME HOME IN A WHEELCHAIR, NOT ABLE TO WALK ANYMORE. I AM A BIO-
ENGINEER AND WENT TO WORK ON MYSELF. I HAD NOTHING TO LOSE, SO I STARTED
WORKING ON EVERYTHING THAT CHANGES AS YOU GET OLD. LONG STORY SHORT, I
RESET EVERYTHING BY REACTIVATING MY THYMUS AMONG OTHER THINGS. I CAN NOW
WALK, AND ALL OF MY PROBLEMS ARE GONE. MY GRAY HAIR FELL
OUT AND IS REPLACED WITH THE NATURAL BLOND ON MY HEAD AND FACE. I AM
GROWING TALLER BY THREE INCHES NOW AND STILL GOING. I AM GROWING YOUNGER,
BUT MY FINGERPRINTS HAVE GONE AWAY. SO THAT WAS THE ONLY ODD THING. I FEEL
BETTER EVERY DAY.
Ehhh. Sure?
Yet you say nothing about what treatments you're using. BTW, your caps key is stuck.
Keep it up; you’re a great fiction writer
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE LONG STORY SHORT. GIVE US THE WHOLE LONG STORY. THANK YOU.
@@alan2102X TO ACTIVATE MY THYMUS I DESIGNED A SOUND AND LIGHT DEVICE. I PLACED IT OVER MY THYMUS FOR WEEKS WHILE SLEEPING. IT IS MY OWN GROWTH HORMONE THAT STARTED UP ON ITS OWN AND NEW T-CELLS WENT TO WORK ON ALL OF MY ISSUES. EVERYTHING WAS RESET. I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING THROUGH PUBERTY AT 67 YEARS OLD.
MY RECOVERY WAS DOCUMENTED BY MY HOME THERAPY CREW WHO FOUND IT UNBELIEVABLE HOW FAST I STARTED WALKING SINCE MY DOCTORS TOLD ME I WOULD NEVER MOVE MY LEGS AGAIN.
Does Dr. Fahy paints his hair? If not😮😮😮
Did he mention anything about Harold Katcher? Supposedly they were about to start a collaboration
Hi Thanks for the question. I did not ask Dr Fahy about Dr Katcher and E5. Dr Fahy was going to organize the dog trials for E5 but I think that Yuvan have a different plan for that now.
@ModernHealthspan yes but in an exchange in twitter between Fahy and Katcher (after the falling out in Yuvan) the former suggested the later to collaborate. And afterwards Katcher posted this "After leaving Yuvan Research, I have now started a new corporation
LXR-VT Corp) which is forming a strategic alliance
with famous researcher who has unambiguously demonstrated the rejuvenation of at least one important organ (I haven't asked his permission to use his name, though he will be announcing the arrangement in his company's newsletter"
How can we relate the benefits to the thymus? It seems to me that HGH alone will improve the body performance and "rejuvinate" many many things. Not just the thymus so maybe that's not related at all.
Knowing the profound negative effects Metformin has on mitochondria, I'm surprised that VO2Max would improve.
Hi Jim, thanks for the comment. Metformin does have an impact on mitochondria but I guess it was overridden by the positive impact of the GH (and also metformin has positive effects on its own).
I don’t know but this sounds like it might just be too good to be true. Perhaps some skepticism is in order. I’d like to see the results duplicated in independent clinical trials done by nonprofits.
I don't trust any of these trials until they are replicated by others who are completely independent.
I'm all for nonprofits, but it may be that the billion-dollar companies with AI drug discovery programs are the only ones capable of major breakthroughs.
Wow. 74 years old.....90 push ups!?
That was a very interesting discussion, however his lack of understanding about the proper (species appropriate) human diet is disappointing. Diet should be absolutely central to everything he is doing regarding human longevity and health span. It is absolutely clear that we are a carnivorous species and do best on a high fat moderate protein animal based diet.
Just take thymus gladulars
Brian Johnson said he regretted using growth hormone, it aged him significantly. Be careful folks.
Hi thanks for your comment. Growth Hormone should indeed be used carefully. We did discuss why he used GH and his advice was not to try this at home.
I read recently that HIIT 3 times a week increases HGH naturally. Doing it naturally this way sounds safer to me. A doctor, Agatha Thrash that ran a natural healing clinic, said that HGH increases naturally if you sleep 2-3 hours before midnight. This is what was generally done before the invention of artificial lights.
I wouldn't trust BJ at all
IIRC he complained that HGH increased his intracranial pressure, which happens occasionally when HGH therapy is too aggressive or is ramped up too quickly. The pressure can be easily and safely relieved with acetazolamide or topiramate (both low-risk, easy to obtain drugs). No, it did not "age him".
Methinks Bryan Johnson gave up on HGH much too quickly and thoughtlessly. He is generally in my view too conservative, and he misses out on a lot of valuable stuff.
Yes, we should be careful. But not too careful. Recall that up to present all humans have had a 100% chance of age-related deterioration, disease and death. We have to consider the risks of NOT doing (opportunity costs) as well as of doing.
@@alan2102X Bryan Johnson aside from intracranial pressure had completely messed up blood sugar levels to diabetic levels. The Thymus results showed some positive growth. I agree Alan, Bryan Johnson needed to take more risks, that is the whole point of pushing the boundaries to ageing by trial and error. When ever a treatment has shown these side effects, adjustments need to made on dosage, the timing with combination therapies and which other therapies to pause on. As Dr Brian Kennedy said at the summit, "there will be bumps along the way, but we will learn from them". I take MSC vesicles as a solution topically, HBOT, Fisetin and Ca AKG, but when combined with months of Plasmapheresis that messed up my blood sugar levels. I stopped the Plasmapheresis and my levels have restored. Fisetin and Ca AKG are oral supplements, HBOT at 2 atmospheres is safe, but when altering the blood plasma levels this is too much.
Why is this thumb nail look carton like !
he clearly has no idea on how to do pushups ...
Why?
@@toby-xo6rb because 90 is just absurd. He's probably one of the guys who do rythmic planking and call it push ups ...
@@RandomGuy-lu1en You've gone from "clearly" (i.e. certain) to "probably" (i.e. a guess).
@@toby-xo6rb he's clearly doing push ups wrong. He's probably one of those who wobble on the floor and thinks that's how push ups are done. That's a common misconcept.

I wonder if excercising one could increase growth hormone naturally, if the used levels are achievable or they are super-physiological.
It's been thousands of years since every exercise has been practiced by all civilizations, and. . . we didn't notice anything
Hi thanks for the question. I think the answer is that the HGH is higher than can be achieved by natural interventions, like exercise.
