  • In a major breakthrough, researchers have successfully replicated the results of the very first human age-reversal trial. This replication strengthens the initial findings that treatment aimed at thymus regeneration may hold the key to reversing some aspects of aging.

The TRIIM-X trial is an expanded pilot clinical study that will evaluate a personalized combination treatment regimen for thymus regeneration. The thymus is a part of the immune system that declines markedly with age, and regenerating it may prevent or reverse key aspects of immunosenescence (immune system aging) and potentially prevent or reverse key parts of the aging process more generally.
Dr. Greg Fahy presents about the latest results from TRIIM-XA Trial in this video.

Recombinant growth hormone is an artificially long acting hormone analog and is a very unnatural way to elevate a normally cyclically varying and very short half life hormone that paradoxically is most active in the non fed state (possibly a way for the body to protect vulnerable dividing cells from natural food toxins...much as pregnant women become anorhexic during certain developmental stages of the growing fetus). Itd be nice if this tral could attempt an effective but more physiologic way of increasing growth hormone...like stage 4 sleep agonists such as GHB/Xyrem.

And especially this where he gives everyone different doses and fiddles with these doses with no published rule for these decisions. That seems like a great formula for placebo effects. Especially, as all the patents are footing the bill, and really want it to work and expect it to work.

More work by another group definitely needs to be done. I think the primary thing these "two" studies will show us is that there are no negatives outside of the cost per participant which will need to be paid somehow. I'm certain that this will be picked up by another group for study. Putting that in mind I'd like to see a distributed study take place since everything they are taking is available on the market right now and recognized as safe for human consumption where participants go in and get a sweet of biomarker tests done in local facilities, preferably paid for by insurance, then submit the data online and begin treatment on their own, repeating the tests as often as insurance allows (modifying the protocol based on results as is done in TRIIM) and continuing on with submitting results and carrying out the trial on their own.

The goal is to get you healthy enough to not need crutches in order to function. If we solve that you can simply go in for a short treatment and leave biologically younger and skip everything else like constant HGH and other drug administrations. I think the other replies missed your point. You’re asking whether we know the thymus has anything to do with the mechanism, right? I think very little is known about the thymus, but there is some evidence that just making the thymus bigger (eg through genetically engineering mice) extends lifespan and treats disease. As far as I know there aren’t any results about the thymus directly improving frailty, so that could be from non-thymus effects of the drugs.

    • @teelawyman8013
      @teelawyman8013 Před měsícem +2

There are a lot of interesting relationships between thymus size and output, T-Cell repertoire quality and diversity (the T in T-Cell stands for Thymus), and aging.
The New England Journal Study he’s referring to suggested that thymus removal increases all cause mortality in post pubescent adults (your thymus can actually grow back if it’s partially removed when you’re a baby).
There’s evidence that untreated HIV+ patients age prematurely compared to HIV- patients. HIV screws up T-Cell function.
Down syndrome is an aging disorder and causes accelerated thymus involution.
There’s evidence that testosterone damage to the thymus in men may make them age prematurely and pass away prematurely. (There’s also some very interesting data about male eunuchs living 14-19 years longer than their intact counterparts)
Additionally, the very function of T-Cells by their nature suggests that they have natural senolytic qualities.
Even the fact that young plasma creates anti-aging effects in older recipients suggests that there’s a connection.
Additionally if you’re born without a thymus you typically pass on by the age of 3 without a transplant.
      Etc…
This is profoundly sloppily written, but you can find almost everything I’ve referenced online, and much more. Also the examples I have provided are not comprehensive, they are just the first ones that came to mind.

    - How epigenetic age can be rejuvenated 6 years after 9 days of treatment. It is unrealistic and only shows that the epigenetic age measurements are not reliable and wrong. Instead, I propose to present your blood pressure, especially pulse pressure (SBP-DBP) during rest, and resting heart beat-rate. These measurements correlate with biological age reliably. We are as old as our arteries! I am 67 and I struggle to bring my PP and RHR to what I used to have at the age of 18 (below 30 mmHg and below 40 BPM) from the current measurements (below 40 mmHg and below 50 BPM).
I tried HGH for almost a year and didn’t see any improvement in muscle growth, probably because of its low quality. High quality HGH is too expensive for me. That's also reason for the carnivore diet- It supplies the right coenzymes in the right forms the body can use to help the pancreas and liver secrete the right hormones, digestive enzymes, and produce cholesterol, bile and everything else we need this machine, which houses our souls, to function on.
When you're young the body does it incredibly, but when you get in your '50s and '60s all of that starts to slow down and you need as much help as you can get. Therefore carnivore. It's mainly done for you if you go that way.

@@esvajcarac3527 I know what you mean. It's hard to trust the manufacturers or the regulators. Best to stay in the shade, even then UV will age you. I think UV is probably much more damaging than what will be caused by a well-chosen sunscreen: but good luck with that. Wearing clothing is best, no doubt, even long pants and sleeves in summer, but apparently you even have to be discriminating in clothing choice too to avoid nano plastics and fabric treatments that attack your on a genetic level. It's ridiculous, you have to act like industry of all kinds is trying to kill you, especially the food industry. Even if your are not paranoid, you have to act like you are or you end up with cancer -- etc. and have no idea why.

all you were doing was regulating acetylcholine with the substances, because acetylcholine dys regulation is the root cause of aging it causes oxidative stress via elemental dysregulation mainly copper if we were to replace the use of copper with gold nanoparticles, the person would never age in the first place because gold doesn’t oxidize the way other elements do and this is fully possible to replace the functions that use copper with gold, and this would prevent aging because there would be no oxidative stress. The reason why the thymus gets defunct, and every other thing in the body goes to function is because of the oxidative stress that’s caused by the dysregulation.
