this is the best review / introduction clip I have seen.
All the other reviews on CZcams are boring, too long and bad introduction (getting to the point).

The fact that it can't stand on end like a candle is kind of a deal breaker for me

KentuckyFriedIdiot Thanks for the post. If you remove the quick-detach key ring and unscrew the metal tailcap...you can actually sit it on its end at that point. It does expose the battery cavity a bit (small hole), so you wouldn't want to do it for prolonged periods or around moist surroundings but, in a pinch, you could do that. Just spoke with an engineer on this point.

+SureFire how 'bout giving a spare flat metal tail cap as an option inside the package. Instabuy :D

+SureFire Still I'd say it's a design oversight. There are so many ways of making a ring attachment point - choose a flat one. :)

Make the other end magnetic and flat, and you've got a customer.

About $80 dollars to expensive .

I was thinking of ordering one but for $99.99 It is not worth it. Why would Surefire make this light out of plated brass when it could have been made from the stronger Stainless steel or titanium. I'll pass on this one.

BRR Conductivity. It was the only way to squeeze the needed current to get the 300 lumen output. You also need to use NiMH batteries as well, or you will lose lumen output.
