Good video! I have had my titan plus for a month now and love it! I carry and use lights daily and have an observation as well as a question. My observation is I had to replace my included AAA with an out of the box Duracell due to the light becoming dim and STILL have 3 settings of low medium and high with no noticeable difference in performance from the included battery... Are you sure there is a drop in performance using an off the shelf standard battery? This was a LARGE part in my choosing this light... My question is, HOW do you recharge the included cell? I tried my everyready charger to no avail... I appreciate your time and look forward to your response! 👊
+MrWegank Yes, there will be a drop in performance using a standard alkaline. The Eneloop pros can deliver a higher current and have lower internal resistance.
MrWegank A 3.7Vdc battery (Included) vs the 1.7 alkaline tops and without the added current so .... ya need the rechargeable to get the 300 plus lumens and then charge it externally-another expense if you need that. Still very nice overall imho 👉🏽Surefire tho 💯
I don't quite get it. It strikes me as a Preon 1 that can't tailstand and slightly brighter with better runtime? or a Zebralight sc52 that runs on AAA?
+LoneWolf8773 300 lumens to 85 lumens is a fairly noticeable difference in brightness. Also, the medium at 75 lumens has twice the runtime of the Preon's high at 84 lumens, so I'd say it's a significant upgrade all around (except the tailstanding issue)
+salehonasi93 Fair enough. The Preon's driver uses PWM which is fairly inefficient. On the other hand, the fact that the preon and the surefire have the same UI is pretty sad. It still looks like a AAA SC52 to me though, similar cell chemistry, brightnesses and runtimes, just running a AA on the ZL.
I love my Titan A. Great solid keychain light. This looks phenomenal though
Hello, what battery have you been running on the peak eiger??

Been two years so prolly got this one figured but for any others tho. 😲😁
can i use a 3.7v 10440 rechargeable battery to boost lumens on this light?

Great review my friend, you're a funny guy to boot. Subscribed..
Will it run for a full 1 hour on high?
They claim so, but I think it would probably overheat first.
