In Yemen there have been 380,000 people killed, many women and children, and not a single protest from students on American college campuses. The Houthi rebels, who are backed by Iran has caused the civil war yet not a single protest from students. So I guess when it's between the Saudi led military and Houthi rebels and there are no Jews involved it's of no concern how 500,000 children under the age of 5 are now at risk of dying from malnutrition, or how many citizens face starvation.

The difference is western countries have not formed a coalition, or been directly involved with the civil war & famine going on in Yemen for last decade. Where as western countries have a coalition with Israel, and have continued to not only be complicit but spend many billions in the aid of the genocide & destruction of the Palestinian people (US sent 26 billion USD a few weeks ago) instead of fixing the generational issues in our country. Also Netanyahu existing in the first place is arguably the US fault.

According to what I understand, the encampments are illegal on crown lands. The protests during the day are considered a freedom of speech and are allowed - if the administration grants a permission before the protest starts. Of course , there are certain limitations and requirements to any protest. If the organizers claim it's a student protest, the organizers and the participants have to be students. If most of the protesters are not students, they should protest (freedom of speech is important!) outside the campus. Actually, there are laws, rules and regulations that are quite clear as to who, where, and how, is permitted to protest.

If you didn’t want the police to move you, you should have moved yourself. These officers have more important things to deal with than idiot protesters who don’t know jack-all about whatever cause of the week is justifying their current misbehaviour.

At least they moved their little camp out somewhere else.
Either that or this is the world's worst travelling dinner theatre production of Les Miserables I've ever seen.
This is what happens when you bring in mass numbers of people from a war torn region, they bring the conflict with them.

Who ever that cop was hitting a female student sitting down and being piece full needs to be charged ! What a cowardly act for an any cop ! If you want disrespect cops, keep doing that . Boys in blue doesn’t mean the right to beat a woman black and blue ! What a pathetic display of law enforcement.
