In this video I features thirteen park features from the last year of snowboarding that stand out to me. These features are great for progressing with snowboard tricks and each offer unique benefits to progressing. It would be great to hear from you in the comment section to rank these thirteen features from best to worst. For more snowboarding trick videos like this video and subscribe the the channel. In this next video I talk about ten snowboard tricks you can do outside of the terrain park. Thanks for watching! - Sport
Petition to make it snow all year

Agreed
Petition to get all of these features on every hill
I freaking love snowboarding!!!

Yes
bars
I’ve been an instructor for 5 seasons and I still have a soft spot for rollers, they’re so fun no matter your skill level
Side hits are also crazy fun.
definitely s/b on the list!
04:10: The guy in the background was really going for that b3
I finally started snowboarding right at the end of the season and can’t wait until next year. thanks for the tips!
Voodoo Skate Co. I live snowboarding
Yooo
Well it’s next year, ready to shred?
@@tpespos I’ve been shredding!
same but this season.
i cant deal with summer
Hey Kevin I would just like to say thank you, I watched you beginner snowboard videos back in like 2014 and you taught me how to snowboard, I’ve never taken a lesson, I would just watch your videos so thank you
Love the videos thanks, Kevin. KEEP THEM COMING!!
Great video as always 👍
Great video Kevin, this has got me hyped for some progression this year. Cant wait for the next one.
Great vid! Giving me some cool trick ideas for next season!
Kevin, love your vids best snowboarding channel on CZcams!
Damn you make those look so easy
I’ve only snowboarded 3 times but I still want to do it for a living
My favorite terrain park feature has been the square rail. It’s small and low to the ground and I’m using it to progress towards to the mythical circular rail..
that's cool for starting and for some switch buy tubes are where it's at
Update: I have done a large circular rail, probably like 7 feet long
@@iaincunningham7926 cool now time for 7m one :)
2nd Update: I went snowboarding today, had a kickass day, and then broke my left collarbone clean in two doing a 180 on a groomer on one of the last runs of the day 🥲🥲

My 10 Best to Worst: 1 Medium Jump Line, 2 Medium Tube, 3 Small Tube, 4 Quarterpipe, 5 Gap to Box, 6 Small Tube, 7 Small Jump line, 8 Hip Jump, 9 Down Rail, 10 Medium Box. What's Your 10?
I just noticed that when your do 360s and 180s you don’t rotate your arms, it makes it look a lot nicer and cleaner
:)
Quarter pipe
Where’s the XL jumps
Nice vid Kevin, I dig it. I don’t ride park a lot, but I have a similar feature list. 🤙🏼
I started learning 180 on 180 off on the dance floor box before stepping them up to the medium box, then adding in presses and other variations. Favorite feature of all time has to be big quarter pipes (20'+) with big log sticking out the top
Thank Kevin I really appreciate the vid nice vid keep up your excellent work
Backcountry kicker !! This is my best
nothing beats a good old edgecut to taco on a Down flat Down rail
Big Bear, my home park, love & hate relationship lol!
summit vs bear vs mtn high!
@@aaronsloate1474 summit the best
anyone else just vibing to the back ground music lol?
There's no bad feature. Just bad approach. All features are fun. Some are just easier to butt slide 😝
Hips are also great for learning miller flips and 360s because they're very forgiving on rotation
As the weather gets hotter and hotter, we desperately need a coolness. ^O^
Flat rail is awesome
nice kevin i love your park vids there so sick man
Thanks Geordie!
all good brother
Kevin big fan man love your channel
Thanks Lachlan!
Agree
I really like rollers, seeing your footage made me miss Bear
Bear creek ?

U put some work in on this video killing it!
Thanks Elliott! Yeah, it took a few days to get all these clips together!
@@SnowboardProCamp i noticed ! Great idea for the vid :)
Something I hope to reach one day. Still a beginner. Only have 2 seasons under my belt. I got my Burton Step On bindings and boots, but have to wait till next season to try. My brother (got me started in snowboarding) and I were in Rusutsu the week before you guys arrived. I had big fun on the beginner slope over there.
dying to go back to the park!!!
I'm pretty new to rails so I have no opinion on those yet. But Rainbow and Curved boxes are probably my favorite!
I'm still new to snowboarding but I love it!!! nothing more freeing than a nice powder run. I'm still a little scared of trying to hit a rail tho 😬my goal for the season is to 50-50 a skinny box and 180s
I'm surprised you didn't have up sloped rails and boxes, they're pretty much the only thing I can do slides and presses to grabs and 270 outs. Also rainbows and handrails with stairs are my favourite
1. Medium battleship rail. (preferably with side entrance options)
2. A well made small jump (fairly steep take off and landing with a small gap allowing for a variety of air times)
3. small tube down, street entrance
4. Hip jump
5. pole jam
6. small wall ride
7. side hit with a good run in
8. Large tube flat
9. rollers
10. small tube on top of a quarter pipe
I love rainbow boxes those are what I first learned to Jib on
My favorite feature is the barrel, similar to a rail and slides like a dream. I personally hate boxes since I have found them to be stickier than rails.
So close to 500k
I feel like the medium box is the most forgiving to learn on
Waterfall rails are sick to
I'm a skier but I love snowboard vids
I wish the places I go had more park features
I just started learning skate style I have been practicing for slope style and working on tubes and jumps and boxes
I learned my first boardslides on a medium flat box 😁
Yoooooo a foe of those clips are at my home park bear mountain, great to see how to hit those features
I wanna go ride bear soooo bad!!
A simple urban on down tube (with a small Ollie requirement) is the best thing in the world to learn tricks on. Technically they are the same as rails but so much more forgiving and really easy to slide off of/fall off of in control. They’re also low enough it’s hard to taco or shin then
Especially if it’s just a little down not super steep
Rails always get my ribs good when I go for them 😩
Good video. I'm self-taught and wondered what these things were called 😅
Is this at Big Bear in SoCal?
DUDE IM GOING TO MOUNT HOOD FOR THE CASCADE CAMP NEXT YEAR! Wonder if I’ll see you
Rails are so much easier than boxes
my favorite feature would be a flat donk rail
Would a capita doa be a good park/groomer board?
I have a question on how to get better at 180s and 360s
Where do you ride because your park looks sick
It would be sick to know what resort this was at
Snowboarding in sommer? Hold up where
At camelback there’s a run called Pharo and it’s a black terrain but at the start there’s big rollers that you can get a lot of height from but there’s no space to land because the next roller is so close. Long story short I said full send went way to high and landed on the incline of the next hump
I’ve done all those
check out 4:10. Nice wipeout in the background
Just learnt how to 5050 wail tails
Any plans for this summer? Are you going back to South America ? Or Cardrona!
Hopefully all those places! Will have to see which countries open up!
@@SnowboardProCamp is Canada open for exits? Haven't left since before this craziness.
Big bear so siick
One of my favs!
kevins only trick - back board
Come to seven springs
Where do you buy your equitment ?
I min the boar
i ski but nice vid
Yo i saw my resort Big Bear at 0:37
Must be nice to have a small jump.
Where is that
I never snowboard did but I em going to today
what board is thatttttr
is no one gonna talk about he literally levitated at 1:26 wtf lmao
I don’t have as favorite haha I just started to try hitting the little jumps by the rails. I’m getting started and hope to get better!
Don’t ever do that!! They are NOT jumps. That’s shitty park etiquette and you look like a major doofus doing it.
I think the dance floor box is amazing for begineers but when ur get better u qant smthing more challanging
Anyone know where to buy tubes?
Your local building store should sell drainage pipes that work as tubes!
SnowboardProCamp awsome thanks
I wanna board 😭
The tube is forgivable if you don’t smack your shin on it
my main resort doesn't have a park :,(
There is two hips at my local they are about 15ft tall and this is coming from someone who only rode park my first year you can go up to 10 feet above the hip
Pole jam 1#
i was the first VEIW!!!
Its only for snowboarding?! 😅 i m a freestyle skier
#bigbear
Everything's good except square rails, frick square rails
I can’t ride park because if I’m more than 40cm off the ground I start to tilt backwards and end up backflopping
Pill
I’m thinking only ride on rails
Hey man I make and ghost produce music if you want some cheap beats with originally synthesised sounds x
minute 4:10 that must have hurt
A lot of 180’s there... can you do somthing else?
