    I think it would be nice to have some downsides of the boards, or things that you think other boards do better. It’s just weird hearing a top 10 list where everything said is positive. Like “I really like this camber profile and this technology used, it feels really good,that’s why it’s number 8,” is weird to hear. Why isn’t it 7, or 6, or 2. But if you mentioned the things you liked about it but then mentioned some things it doesn’t do as well, or you didn’t like, the rankings would make more sense. It would also help people out who were looking to buy figure out which one fit them best.

      Pretty much all snowboard reviewers are like this and it's frustrating.
      I think they are scared of not getting reviewers gear in the future so they only focus on the positives and features.

      We all know his reviews are here for his own profit, he wants you to buy these boards and giving "negative" (honest and actually helpfull) info wouldn't help with quick sales. the goal is: dont overthink, click and buy!

      If you do a minimum of research, there are plenty of other sites / channels that do more balanced and helpful reviews. I would never buy based on a site like this one because he just talks about what HE likes. Unless you are at the same level as he is and have the same appreciation / style as he does and ride in the same region, these rankings are not that helpful.

    Shout out for Signal snowboards. I've never seen Kevin ride one, but the Signal Disruptor has become my absolute favorite board, especially for park with a flex that isn't too tough but still firm enough to be stable, excellent control, and a nice full camber that gives a lot of pop. The only problem is it's really hard to test Signal boards since they're only sold online or used.

    Here is a question that I want to ask about park boards. When people talking about Park board, they always prefer or emphasis the true twin profile. But when looking the different pro snowboarders, about half of them are using directional profile with setback profiled boards. So which one is better? Or why are they using directional profile? what is the advantage on park with either of these profiles?

    • @WontSeeReplies
      @WontSeeReplies Před rokem

      It all comes down to how comfortable the rider is going ambidextrous. The majority of riders are predominantly right or left comfortable so it pays for them to adjust their tricks accordingly. While they…slightly…miss out on smaller rotations, they gain in reassurance and comfort.

    I have a 58 custom camber that I really like as my all around cruise board but am looking for something on the softer side to work on presses butters etc.. the custom to me is just a little to stiff and locked in for me to press around easily and the true camber is just a little catchy trying flat spins etc.. I’m not super advanced and also light for my boot size. I live in FL and don’t have the ability to try boards, curious what would be a nice little step down from a custom camber would be? Would still like some pop and hold but something that wouldn’t make me work to hard to learn presses and jib style riding

      @@reazyy9667 I mean sure, in the end any snowboard is at least decent in pow, compared to skis it's at least ridable, but on a twin you really need to set back your stance, otherwise your backfoot will literally die from keeping that nose afloat.
