I loved seeing how big she is already getting, she's beyond adorable! And yes, yes YES PLEASE on the tree decorating video! Since I lost my husband 20 months ago I don't decorate but for many decades I would over-decorate because we enjoyed it. First let me say I love your house. Although it's been 57 yrs since my 1st baby I remember the anxiety you feel when anything like that occurs. Havi nd your mom near is such a blessing I know it was for me. Eventually you sort of get used to those crisis or maybe because after my 3rd child I didn't panic quiet so much. You're doing amazing and Elora is a very blessed little girl surrounded by all that love. I am also impressed with how much father's now participate in caring for their babies. Times sure has changed and for the better. I'm so thankful for that.

As for all the newness of being mom... it is all a matter of *"do what works for you!"*
The advice is great from older mommas but in the end... every baby is different and what works for 90% of the world, never seems to work out for individuals. It becomes its own learning curve of, "Oh heck apples, what now?!"
Reducing risks is one thing... preventing mom and baby transmission is a darn crapshoot. My grandmother cleaned every doorknob, lightswitch, surface and boiled the entire house in the 50's... she said you might as well prepare for hell week upon the first sniffle from inside the house! She had 3!
Keep that humidity a little higher in the house during winter and keep that "sucker" replaced if hard to clean.
Snooks is growing so quick! Wonder if that crazy ol lady can make outfits that would "grow with baby?!" Hmmm. Starts dreaming up pattern ideas...💡

My favorite is Apple Swirl Sourdough Bread and Turkey/Dumplins the week after (I use the leftover bird and make Chicken/Dumplins)

That sounds delicious! Chicken and dumplings is one of my all time favorite meals, plus we love sourdough over here!
@@KendraKingery Take leftover bird carcass (the bones) and soak in boiling pot of water (about 6 cups of equal water/chicken broth) for 30 min with 1/2 onion, thinly sliced carrots, celery and a few chunked red potatoes (¹/² inch cubed).
Save any dark meat/leftover white meat. Remove carcass from the pot (I place mine in a cheesecloth and just toss the whole mess into outdoor bin after the soak!)
Remove the onion and add 1 cup milk. 40 cracks of pepper and 1/2 - 1 tsp salt (taste as you cook, you can always add salt you can't remove it.) Make sure your pot is bubbling quick to get those dumplins to puff but you don't want a rolling boil! Think witches cauldron. lol
Dumplins
In a separate bowl mix
1 cup flour, sprinkle of baking powder abt ¹/⁴ tsp, 4 thin pats of butter (break up with fingers) and use the broth from your pot with an ice cube to cool (you don't want it hot!)
Mix a little broth into your flour just until it forms a dough ball in the center of your bowl.
Now, drop that doughball onto a floured surface and make your dumplins thin, thinner... a little thinner. *there ya go, perfect.*
Roll out really thin and cut into1/2 x1 dumplins.
Drop dumplins into your bubbling pot and when they rise to top you know they are cooked through! Wait 5 min then turn off heat.
Now, break up all that leftover meat and lightly dust it in your leftover flour from your dumplin mess. Drop meat into pot and stir in 1/2 cup freshly chopped parsley.
Taste first... likely needs salt but sometimes it surprises me. You can thicken it a bit with cornstarch/water but the flour usually doesn't need it.
Switch for a rotisserie chicken if you want Chicken/Dumplins
Some people leave off the veggies but I like mine with the added veggies.

She is absolutely adorable!! So glad you are all feeling better. It is such a helpless feeling when the little ones are sick. I would love to see a decorating video! I love seeing all of the goodies you are getting for your sweet Elora. I love your dads microphone. I think it has helped me at least hear their videos better especially while they are moving around a lot. Have you done any make up tutorials? I would love to watch one. I could sure use some tips!

I do have a rather strange request from you…You and I have very similar coloring. I used to spray tan but don’t anymore. I jacked up my knee and need surgery but until then, no mall and even Walmart has been a no-go for a couple of months. Your skin is flawless and I love the natural look you have on camera. I have tried a gazillion brands of shade finders and have ordered many products but I’m just struggling. No matter the lighting it's still just a little bit too yellow or pink 💛🩷😱🫣!! Not to mention all the 💵 going down the 🚽, for real! Would you be willing to share what brands and shades of foundation, concealer, and powder you use?? I would appreciate it 😊😊!!

Of course! My foundation is Maybelline Fit Me Dewy+Smooth in the shade 110. My concealer is also Maybelline Fit Me in the shade 10. My powder is Covergirl Clean Professional in the shade 105 translucent fair. I use the makeup sponges from Beauty Bakerie and some powder applicators from Amazon! I will say that this combination does slightly oxidize on my skin which makes it slightly orange, but blending down my neck makes it much less noticeable. They also make blue pigments that you can add to your foundation/concealer to combat that. I believe the shades i bought are the lightest or close to the lightest I’ve found at my local drug stores.
