12:13 Jordan's Animation - Zábava
The “split” was so clever, but the “bowl again” made me remember why he’s the best at humor that is offensive
I cackled out loud and I never thought I could do a sound like that
The bowl again part really did it! Extremely clever.
Is "bowl again" a reference to how the Japs got bombed twice?
Ikr that was hilarious
perfectly described my feelings watching that clip 😂
It would be awesome if you could track down the original animators of those crappy bowling animations and get them on the couch for a react video
thats an awsome idea 😂
They’re probably long dead sadly
@@imao15 that was only like 30 years ago why would they be long dead
@@l3gacyClearly imou15 is confessing to the murder of several animators
@@l3gacy oh. For some reason I thought it was way longer of a time, but the comment above this is funnier so let’s just go with that one
What I loved about Jordan's animation:
- used the same bowling ball character in all his animations
- could've made it for a "strike" joke by wiping out an entire city but was even funnier as a "split" atom bomb joke
Which also makes the bowl again part make sense, perfection.
The added “bowl again” is what gets me. The “split” joke is already good enough, when you add that to the mix it just amplified the whole thing
character arch development
then the "bowl again" joke referencing how two cities got nuked
I like how Sam’s animations all have an obnoxious amount of Koopa sound effects 😂
If this is Jordan restraining himself to not cross the line, part of me really wants to see what happens if the line isn't holding him back.
his first animation
Watch the first video... it was so offensive they couldn't show it even on their website.
I think it would be about some denying some showers, a train, and the bowling balls would be blonde guys covered in insignia
It's the last round of bowling, he gets the strike on Hiroshima then gets the spare on Nagasaki
The “Split!” in Jordan’s animation was perfect, seriously caught me off guard.
I just LOST it at that "Split!". The sequence started silly, then got foreboding, then hung me up with a "what's this bowling ball going to do...", and then ding-a-linkle-"Split!" I almost fell off my couch.
That's one of the first things in a while that made me laugh out loud from shock and surprise
@@TransistorBased I laughed so hard that my smartwatch warned me that I was in a "loud environment".
@@TransistorBasedthen it’s followed by BOWL ABAIN
PERFECT sound design
That long awkward hold at Jordan's "Bowl Again" screen is everything that makes me love this series.
it was painful how well that fit. "split" "bowl again".
man...
Yeah it reminds me of Bill Wurtz's animation of the bombings in his video "history of japan." Where he just holds 15 seconds of grave silence. Lol
Ngl I died laughing at that part
I love the new pacing of these, I find it alot more engaging to start seeing the ending animations at the beginning, and THEN breaking down how it was made. I personally found myself skipping through in the old style, this was a great watch.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for the feedback.
Also increases watch time XD@@CorridorCrew
I never took issue before -honestly liked it the same if not more; I found the "here and there" hints of what they were each building lent to the anticipation....
....BUUUT, if I'm being pragmatic, here? Yea, I bet most viewers have less patience and will probably watch through these more fully with the reverse format, such as was used here.
@@inventgineer yeah, the offensive bowling animations are not as funny without the buildup
@@AlexiosTheSixth Honestly? I like the anticipation and guessing for ALL the challenges, but ya you're not wrong, lol; probably even more fun when one is trying to guess a myriad of possibly offensive end results for their projects 😄.
Jordan's animation was my favorite for a couple reasons:
-The silly sound effects
-his detail level is spot on every time
-the little kid releasing the balloon
-from the beginning you know where it's going, but then the "split" catches you off guard
-then, immediately, he follows up with the "bowl again," which is just brilliant
Definitely found the line, well done!
"Since we are going for offensive, I thought I would throw in some generative ai" lolol
please rent a bowling alley and prank people with these.
I'd be happy just seeing them bowling, having other people probably won't be any good hahha
I think under one of the first bowling videos people discussed this, and somebody said that this bowling software is so old, buggy and blackboxed to the boot, that it's basically impossible to replace the animations it plays.
That'd be so funny honestly.
@@DarthBiomechit would be insanely easy to just use a screen hooked up to a computer
@@vincevvnBut then you need to write new software.
If you have a human doing the scoring manually that's easy, but if you need to interface with the ancient machinery then good luck.
All Jordan needed was a J. Robert Oppenbowler to pop up at the end for a STRIKE animation
It is so much better as a Split animation than a strike animation, what he did was perfection as is
That 9/10 joke is still sooo good, I could have never thought of that.
This has become my favorite series on youtube. Hope it continues for years to come!
89 likes but no reply's? let me fix that
Doodly, you should make an offensive bowling animation.
Makes no sense.
@@sadomars2446 Everybody Welcoooome THE SNOOOOOOOOWFLAAAAAKE!
Jordan's quasi-sociopathy is exactly the kinda humour we need in our lives! 😂
Bowl again was pretty good, ngl. But honestly, I don't think anything can top Niko's 9/10. That was jaw dropping.
What was the split joke about ? I don't get it 😭
@@rodrigoorozco9263 the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima split atoms. The force of splitting the atoms created a chain reaction in the materials inside the bomb creating an explosion that ended the second world war.
A split in bowling occurs when you bowl straight down the middle and hit all but the left and rightmost pins (7 and 10) and so thats called a split. Because it's almost impossible to hit both of them in 1 more bowl.
@@RellekEarth ah, thanks !
Jordan's animation is top three so far from the whole series. It had cleverness, shock value and the duration was exactly right! The sound effects were also great.
I actually really like the way you guys did it this time, where you showed the short first then talked about how you did some technical aspect of the short - rather than just discussing the conceptualization of the short.
Thanks for the feedback!
@@CorridorCrewI actually don’t, now you will need to make the choice. To go with what this guy said, or what I said! 🫣
This format is definitely the way to go 👍
To be clear, I really enjoyed the previous episodes and the team going into their thought processes behind their shorts and addressing major technical challenges.
But in this case, I liked that they went with the approach of "This was how we went about creating the personality of our shorts from a technical perspective", because it illustrated how very simple techniques could create that style and personality.
For example Sam and Niko both discussing how they did the animations of their bowling pins and how they managed to get things as simple as bowling pins to be as emotive as they were using either very simple slider morphs, or stretch/squish/bend animations.
I'm not saying this needs to be the *only* format, just that I like this style/approach as well.
I have a feeling the thumbnail is going to be changed 😂
The thumbnail will have mysteriously killed itself
lol I don’t get it I’m too young I guess
@Llamu you probably arent for that guy
@@Llamu you're probably the right demographic, actually
I'm not even going to ask what the thumbnail is supposed to represent.
Jordan never lets us down. Everyone got scared to go over the line while he has always been over so he knows how to push it but not too far. That split was awesome.
10:20 Kinda sad they didn't catch the Boys N The Hood reference.. I knew it immediately after the showed the alleyway 😭
Nah, They say boys in the hood seconds after the timestamp you put
Jordan never missing 😂😂 12:13
Jordan absolutely nailed it with this one. One word - Perfection. The best animation of the series for sure. Nikos's school bully SPARED was clever and used to lead the chart, but there is a new leader now.
Jordan just made a perfect final 10th frame animation. The attention to detail in both historical and sporting aspects encapsulated in a masterpiece. Bravo!
This editing style of "video, here's how I did it" makes this series flow so much better. I know it's probably to drive watch time so people don't skip to the end. But it's actually just a more enjoyable edit overall.
was gonna say the same thing
5:04 the kid is watching a previous episode of offensive bowling animations
Jordan's one is amazing because you can anticipate what's coming, but his cartoon noises and comedic timings take it to another level
INSANE WORK JORDAN
Jordan is despicable, I love it! XDXDXDXD "Split" into "Bowl Again" was masterful, well done
The clock ticks relentlessly, counting down the moments until I'm consumed by the void. Time is a cruel master, stealing away my sanity. ⏰
pomni pfp checks out
The start of Niko's animation made me spew out my Sunkist, had to pause to clean up because I wasn't expecting to see bowling pins at a clinic like that
Jordan is too good at that, 9/10 was also amazing
12:22 immediately knew what it was ganna be
Jordan has officially secured the crown there’s no way
11:33 now THAT is a cool way to utilize AI, as a tool and not a replacement
Amen!
@@CorridorCrew where can I find this animation software?
Jordan is so clever. You don't understand the story until you see the plane shadow and have that "aha!" moment, it's great. He didn't tell you. He let your mind connect the dots.
As soon as i saw a japanese town i knew what was going down
I love the format of showing the video and then breaking it down, really kept me invested in both the action and behind the scenes.
appreciate the change in format. having the final animations show earlier followed by some behind-the-scenes from each creator feels more natural.
13:45 pickolas cage was my gmod model for years, glad to see him represented in popular media
9:12 Wren... come on man
The pin swinging in the Boyz N Tha Hood animation is HiLARiOUS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'd love to see you play these at an actual bowling alley
Oh man. I literally laughed out loud. I can't remember the last time I did that. Thanks, Jordan. It was so perfect. the key is being slightly offensive, but also **clever**.
12:50 Next up, Nagasaki!😅☢
Won't be a split.
That is the single greatest bowling animation that is ever going to exist
It's horrifying but everything about it is perfect
IMMEDIATELY when Jordan's shot showed a bowling pin wearing a 'chinese hat' (sry don't know the name) I whispered, 'omg, atomic bombs?' . Yeah, he definetly always finds the line.
the hiroshima/nagasaki one was really good... but a very nick-picky point against it is that the nuke exploded mid-air, which is why those places arent wastelands like say chernobyl. but very good animations all around!
Chernobyl was a nuclear reactor meltdown, a bomb and meltdown are two very different beasts.
It is true that ground detonations are more destructive though
yes but chernobyl was the first similar event i could think of, besides, no other nukes were really set off in war to know@@snosibsnob3930
@snosibsnob3930 No, ground detonations aren't more destructive. That's why it was an air detonation. If the US had used a ground detonation less would have been destroyed by the blast but the fallout would have been more intense
The abortion one in particular has a nitpicky issue as well, in that abortions dont even happen that late, but for the sake of transparency (in that, yes, its about abortion), I get it lol
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958
Oh don't kid yourself.
Not all of them happen "that late"
But rest assured that some of em absolutely *do*
9:54 Tell me you've never seen boyz n the hood without telling me you've never seen boyz n the hood.
Corridor crew never disappoint with these…especially Jordan, like what the hell goes on in his head. I need more of this! 😂
Oh yes, I love this segment! PLEASE more of this!🔥
The most offensive thing to me is Ai generated slop lmao
8:26 so you made him oswald the lucky rabbit instead
I like the format of showing the video first, then showing a behind-the-scenes after. It lets us be able to see how things went together without getting spoilers
Showing the animation and then explaining is a great new format for viewer retention. Great series i wanna see more :)
10:35 its a shotgun, dude. it has multiple bullets in each shell, lmfao.
Yeah but it doesn’t really shoot out of three barrels
9:14 The virgin Wren: Tells a computer trained off stolen assets to make a hat for him
13:26 The chad Jordan: Spends $40 on an environment made by a human
Omg, I had just rewatched those videos like 2 days ago. One of your best series so far!
The fact that Jordan’s wasn’t a strike and was a split was sooo funny! And then the bowl again was the cherry on top!
9:25 to skip the very unwanted AI sponsor
This wasn’t a sponsored video, though
I love this video except for 14:35 WTF? Feat of american engineering, the Bomb!
😂🤦🏾♂️ Jordan you are a MONSTER LOL, but OMG that was very clever and slightly offensive as well...... MAN I LOVE YOU GUYS LOL!
Holy moly, props to you guys for working in the 'this is how I did it and you can too' in such a non daunting and educational way. The duality of man! Corridor Digital can be the most wholesome informative educators while also placing themselves on the most wanted list of the CIA 😂
5:23 "forced" funniest part of the video
5:48 the fact that we live in a world where this sentence exists.
Jordan going from the villain of the first video to the hero in the latest is the character progression that we were all here for
love the new format! going back and forth from the animations to the how they did it is great!
At least the child is alive.
welp used ai they suck
I love how you guys both entertain and tech the views basic concepts in animation.
I also like to see the variety of apps you guys use, I noticed Blender, C4D, Maya and Niko's using 3ds max? I haven't seen anyone use it outside the architectural/mechanical visualization field in years.
I love Dean's, the way it looks and the way he animated the pins is just awesome
Jordan elevates the performance of this series to the next level EVERY time
i'm so freaking glad you made ANOTHER one of these
This change in the storytelling/editing/direction is very interesting.. i really liked it
I really apreciate the new format. I gives newbies to 3D animation the right vocabulary and resources, BIG UPS!
Really liked the change in format. Having the explanations of a specific ideas after each animation worked really well.
I think the magic in these is a solid pun. "Split!" just snaps, like all previous winners.
This is my favorite series, where you guys make clips and do some kind of contest. It really bring me joy every time 😂😂 my sessions become much better
I like the format change of showing the animation then explaining it. Gives you want you want sooner, but also splits it up throughout the video
These videos and animations are epic! And also love that you share the tips for how you made some of them. Love it :)
PLEASE keep making these! I love the bowling videos more than anything
15:10 okay that transition was SMOOTH
Thank you for showing the breakdowns. Those are my favourite parts.
Love this series! The detail and complexity is fantastic.
One challenge I'd love to see: Can you make slightly offensive bowling animations but with the time limit of real bowling animations?
Jordan's "Bowl Again!" was definitely what made that animation, holy shit
Wow Jordan’s was so well done. Just really good editing too, very snappy and tongue-in-cheek
I like this format where you show us the end result and then tell us how you did it. Keeps it engaging
I really love the format of this one, jordans animation was incredible and clever.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE VIDEOS AND IM SO HAPPY THERE IS ANOTHER
The Atom splitting one dropped on me during my morning IG scrolling, I almost choked laughing, how clever that shit was.
I literally just watched all the others and now you make new ones?! Amazing
I started watching this series this morning, and I was up to the last one. I come home from school and see a new one!
I literally just binge watched all the other bowling animations last night, this is perfect timing
this format of video then explination s really nice. feels fast but informative! good change up.
The greatest series on CZcams returns
I love this new format so muuuch, it’s great! Top content as always guys! 🎉
Loving this series
i love these videos. hope you guys keep making slightly offensive bowling animations!
Jordan, that was just pure genius. Never laughed so hard congrats.
I like seeing the finished video and THEN seeing how it was made! Great idea
Animations have outdone the previous once again, that AI modelling tool is terrifying in many ways but it's a fun usage here.
I will say, I liked the style of having them explain their animations before we sell the final product instead of seeing the final project and then they explain
Seeing the animation first - and then the making of is awesome!!
