So when he gets a call, he could move his thumb to his pinky and with a thumbs up motion, he could scoop the speaker away from his pinky, which would automatically answer the call. Like this "🤙"
Then when he's done with the call, he could retract his thumb like this ✊. And the small retractable cable to bring the tiny speaker back to its position on the pinky phone.
Honestly I love seeing Jan showing the first finger, how worn and beat up and scratched it was. It’s been used hard and still works, and it’s obvious that he uses it a ton and idk why but that’s just kinda awesome to me 🥺

Now that the design is refined, consider getting it printed in titanium rather than plastic. It won't melt, and has low thermal conductivity so his finger won't heat up much even if the flame touches the area around the tip.
Or collaborate with a machining channel and machine a full billet finger

I'll be honest, I don't really understand the Jan relationship but I'm happy every time he shows up to attempt a NERF team-wipe of your office. Such a beautiful friendship.

he was a temporarily acquirable character of a minor sidequest early on; but they liked him so much they never finished it.
Jan has been collaborating with their same circle of CZcamsrs for years. People like Mystery Guitar Man and Mike Diva. Jan is a really skilled videographer/photographer and I think he helps with the cinematography on some of the bigger projects that Corridor does.

Wren has essentially given Jan the D&D cantrip "prestidigitation", which lets you light a small flame magically
Prestidigitation lets you do a whole lot more then just light a small flame. The "Produce Flame" cantrip would likely be a closer comparison(though the fire produced is a lot bigger then a lighter)
1st ed literally had the catrip "Fire finger". Verbal component: the magic words "Ron-son" or "Zi-po".

Honestly? One of those pens that has the three colours that you have to push the slides on to change types. I think that presents some real challenges while also giving Jan the opportunity to learn to write with his pinky.
