TYSM! I'm trying to make it b4 bedtime so appreciate the time saver. Thank goodness I have all on hand.💕🦋
I will pass this info along to a CZcams friend who recently found out she has Lyme disease. As I told her, a lady I met in NY told me she takes L-lysine to help with her lyme disease. She said it made a world of difference in how she feels. I'm sorry to hear you have this condition. Prayers going up for you.
@anniemorrison1250 It is fantastic at killing cold sores...yours is new info. Thank you!
@@paulagates1164I just got lysine for a crazy outbreak of cold sores. And I have Lyme in remission as well. Wonderful double duty.
Thanks! I’m treating my 2nd tick bite in 2 years hoping it doesn’t test positive in a month, but those tests are unreliable and this always worked for my mom’s cold sores.
Have her look into doing a detox and see if she can see a naturopath dr who will help her do that according to her needs over just seeing a regular Dr who will just give her antibiotics and tell her to hope for the best! Naturopathic drs are far more willing to actually see you until you’re cured and work with you to do so and willing to go the antibiotic route as well if you want to with some really good probiotics and prebiotics to boot so you don’t mess up your system in the process of helping it heal!
I found out I had Lyme last year and it messed me up so much that I just sat in my chair waiting to just die because I had never felt so horrible in all my life! It messed me up so bad that it ruined my hormone levels as well and put me into a state of hormonal imbalance giving me hot flashes, night sweats and messed up my cycle because I was so stressed out! If it weren’t for my dr, I’d probably be still sitting in my chair planning my funeral because idk how I managed to get by without her care and support! She definitely helped me out more so than all the other drs I’ve seen who just dismissed me and told me I was just starting menopause early and it was all normal and not running a single test on me despite having so many issues going on including severe fatigue, a grinding feeling in my joints and heart palpitations to the point of even folding a sheet or brushing my hair was a severely daunting and exhausting task to do. Even rolling over in bed or lifting my leg up to set it in a different position was like I was having to lift 150lbs on top of me! I’ve never experienced anything like it before and spent weeks in bed not being able to do anything! And being a mom constantly on the go and having to take care of other people, that was extremely difficult for me to have to do and it changed my whole life at that point.
I’m definitely doing a world of a difference even though I still have my moments of being exhausted, but I’m no where near where I was before!! Not even close! The first go round I chose to do an herbal detox, but this second time around, since my retests look like I was either exposed a second time or my first detox exposed dormant strains that weren’t shown the first time around… I’m opting to do antibiotics to see if that will help wipe it out more especially since the first round lasted about 6mos of ups and downs being on it trying to get the right levels of everything I needed to help. Everytime I thought I had it down packed, my body would change it up on me as it tried to battle and purge this out one me especially since it was more than just the herbal detox and I was now also fighting hormone, cortisol anemia and vitamin imbalances because of it. My whole system was off!
I would have never known any of this had I stuck to any of the other drs who dismissed me but I’m glad I tried to keep getting a different opinion since I went through so many drs to finally get what I needed! Idk how many of them told me, “it’s just stress! You’ll be fine!” Or, “It’s just hormones, you’re probably going through perimenopause. This is normal!” Despite having a nagging feeling something was still wrong with me. And I feel like had I had the right diagnosis, I would have wasted so much time getting answers and wouldn’t have lead to an earlier diagnosis that could have helped me since my diagnosis was actually that I have long term Lyme and/or a worse case of it because it had gone untreated for so long.
Every Lyme case is different, but I would highly recommend a naturopathic doctor if you have something like this! I honestly won’t go back to a regular one for anything else any more! I hope your friend finds the relief she needs because Lyme can be such a difficult thing to go through that no one should have to endure and everyone deserves to have the right treatment for them and not ignored or pushed aside!
@@paulagates1164. L Lysine heals my mouth sores when I eat too many tomatoes or other foods with acid. If I wind up with a lot of sores it is because I have not been taking the Lysine as I should. Two per day. I then take about 4 in one mouthful on an empty stomach. My pain subsides a little by the next day. Is a miracle.
You shouldn't take your blunders and bloopers out. Just roll your eyes or spit it out like you do, and just keep rolling! We're all human and we all make mistakes. And when we see you having bloopers, we can just laugh and know that you are a real person making a real time video. 💯🤗👍
So sorry to hear you have Lyme disease. My 82 year old roommate had it a few years ago, and finally went to a Lyme specialist in the Boston area and is now post Lyme. No more symptoms for years now.
What did she take or do for it
Hi! I was wondering if you can use Ivermectine and or Sweet Wormwood for this condition!?
What has your roommate been doing to go symptoms free? Could you share doctors name? Thank you and so glad she's doing well
Thanks for sharing.. I was diagnosed on the 17 th of June.. it's crazy how many have gotten it his year in WNY. I don't know what I would have done without the Lord.. he brought me such peace.
A lot of these plants, thought of as weeds have been found to have many used, and people who think of God first !
Fresh ginger 🫚 tea 🍵 exelent for inflamación
So awesome to see other people using the awesome healing plants provided by our Lord for healing and comforting us. Thanks so much for sharing! Blessings, healing, comfort and life over you in the name of Jesus!
My herb of choice is coffee....then later wander the yard picking nettles, oregano, lemon balm, sage. parsley, feverfew, and tomorrow will add sage.(thanks) I usually brew it MUCH longer-like 30 mins to all day.
This was a fun video- suggest you relax-add valerian and leave the outtakes in. They are charming.
Same.
I thought heating too long would kill potent ingredients
Nettle is king. And oregano the antibiotics of nature
I've used plantain for bee stings. It's instant relief and never swells. I didn't know it was edible.
Thank you for sharing this! I am going to try it. I was diagnosed with Crohns. And at 49 I need all the help I can get.
Beautiful choices fo herbs to benefit you Can I suggest you ditch the plastic kettle as boiling your water if tap water will intensify the BPAs from the plastic and increase the fluoride and chlorine hopefully you have access to spring water and stainless steel kettle Now you’ll feel full benefitsHey love the bloopers ha ha excellent video 👍💕
There is a study (can't remember the university that did the study) but it showed that whole leaf stevia extract was effective in fighting Lyme. It must be the WHOLE (dark) leaf extract NOT the typical stevia liquid used as a natural sweetener. I'm sure if you did a search, you would be able to find it; I do remember it was done by a university in the eastern US.
My best friend has finally succumbed to lime disease. Monique had been the longest survivor in Ontario. Thank you for sharing your tea ingredients.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Mint is suspected to reduce testoterone. And you should ad dandelion, its really lifechanging if you have jointpain.
What parts of the dandelion would you use for that and what other herbs taste good with it?
@@RevLetaLee I use the leaves, but you can use all parts of the plant. It tastes a bit bitter, I put it in my Coffee. You can mix it with all other plants you like. I like bitter, but not everybody does. Try it out.
Thank you for video
Will be nice to get cup of coffee in your garden
Celery juice is good for inflammation
This is great! I have arthritis and will try most of these ingredients- chamomile finished blooming in late May here and plantain has disappeared from the lawn due to the heat…but the other ingredients are going strong. Oh - pure peppermint tea every evening is controlling my reflux 😊
😂😂😂 Glad you left the out takes in. Funny and silly. We need more laughter.
Thanks for watching!
Who wouldn't like and love a world that is filled with laughter, that is fun, "simple" (vs high-tech), and "magical"! That is your reason and "secret" for "taking off like a rocket ship" with your channel. You are all about helping others after you found what helped/s you! Thanks Wineberry Hill for spreading the love, joy, and laughter! May you be abundantly Blessed with health, healing, and all the best life has to offer!
Might want to check out frequency/Rife therapy, as well. I have suffered with the symptoms of Lyme, chronic Epstein-Barr virus, and other pathogenic infections after experimental military vaccines in 1980. FINALLY getting help and relief!
Please make more videos on Lyme disease management & tick control. This topic has been a constant worry since moving to a large property. I love gardening but fighting ticks has put a damper on this piece of paradise. Thank you for your videos.
You bet, and thanks!
@@AnyM4jorDude Have a look for lets call them anti tick rolls (i lack the english word for it - it's like a paper tube filled with cotton wool that's soaked with the sap of a special flower; they're commercially available).
I had an unbelievable tick problem with myriads of them alone on one of over a thousand squaremeter. I stumbled over these rolls and close to solved my tick encounter completely within one year.
You place those rolls over the property in places mice will move along. They'll grab the cotton wool to build their nests with it. The sap within the wool will stick to the fur of the mouse. Once the mouse catches a tick, the tick comes into contact with the sap which is deadly for the ticks, but no other animals.
As mentioned within one year my tick-encounters dropped from hundreds of ticks per squaremeter to almost no encounters within one summer on the whole property.
Longterm you need to repeat this process as usually places with many ticks tend to attract them again through moving wildlife.
Ixogon is a european brand selling such rolls.
@@WineberryHill Have a look for my long comment regarding anti-tick-rolls under this thread if you should have many ticks on your property.
Again good luck with your lyme. I had it in a very early stage last year which was cured with strong antibiotics which made me lightsensitive. From 6 in the morning to late in the evening i had to cover all my skin for more than 10 weeks. There are better toys to play with...
Look at other homesteading video. Guinea’s will eat ticks like crazy & also great warning system.
@@chanchan5349..yes I have Guineas and they are busy on my land!! A wonderful addition and fun to watch.
Bird song has healing qualities as well! 🤗❤
Yep, I do love those little wrens especially!
@@WineberryHill I was so happy to see that too! Like St. Francis of Assisi, I am always talking to the birds that come by, like the Western Kingbirds, robins, and ravens. I also have my cats and chickens around and talk to them too! Who cares if anyone else thinks I am "crazy"!
I LOVE all that Our Creator made for us to enjoy, so I let the birds, bees, ladybugs, and even the dragonflies that come by, let them know I am grateful for their presence. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all could enjoy a beautiful world and have perfect health?!!
Fortunately, I don’t have any of these desease , buy I LOVE your garden with all those fresh herbs that are good for our health. Neither it’s easy to find those fresh herbs in a supermarket.
Thank you for sharing.
Leticia, CANCÚN, MEXICO.
Thank YOU for watching!
I drink healing teas from my yard daily as well. Self Heal/ Heal All, plantain, lemon balm, lavender, mints and more. I have several nice oregano patches, but never used them in tea, so thanks to you I’ll will give it a try!
I have most of the herbs in my garden except camomile. I am going to plant next year.
I have plenty of plantain growing in my grass and both Greek oregano and common oregano in my garden..chamomile in bags and also spearmint growing in my grass..!!.,will make a cup of tea this evening.!! Thanks..!.
That is awesome!
For what it’s worth, I have read that basil seeds, brewed into tea and cooled, has widespread use from India through Southeast Asia as a cooling beverage to counter the heat.
Thanks
Different basil - holy basil also called tulsi.
Thank you, love the video. I drink most of these herbal teas each day. Really enjoy them. Best wishes for you!
Thank YOU for watching!
I clicked on the link because I have one colleague with Lymes disease and another who possibly has it. I'm going to give them this link. I'm a big believer in the benefits of herbal teas. So thank you..
Happy to help!
Rosemary and ginger also good
Good video. I like that you showed how you gathered the ingredients and made the tea. One suggestion I would make is show the parts of the plants you took (up close) and explain any reasons you chose those parts (leaves, stems, flowers, newer leaves, older leaves, amounts - stuff like that).
Fair enough, but honestly in this situation you can't really go wrong. Pretty much every part of these plants will have the desired effect.
I thought he did that
@@WineberryHill I know when I was watching it you explain why you took the top leaves, etc., or the flowers, etc. that kind of thing
SO glad to find your channel! The fresh herb gathering, the why-didn’t-I-think-of-this??! use of the french press, the outtakes, the beautiful videography… and the peace and smiles I am left with, anticipating that lovely cuppa I’ll have in a bit when I go herb gathering in my garden. Then exploring your channel, excellence on so many levels… that amazing greenhouse … subscribed, with gratitude.
Wow, such a nice comment...Thanks!
Yup! You worded that so well! Just top-notch all around.
Yes, would love more closeups of the plants!
Noted!
LOVE your attitude& info how you use regular food to heal
Glad it was helpful!
Nice!
Such a peaceful beautiful garden!!
Thanks 🙏☯️🙏
great video. I was just asking my best friend to try boiling her water in a glass kettle. they are easy to find these days and more affordable. We stopped cooking our food and drink in plastic years ago. Just don't trust plastic coffee makers and kettles made these days. Keep up the good work with the videos and garden herbs. I wish I didn't live where its cold 6 months of the year.
I feel your pain...winter feels like it will never end! Thanks for watching.
I resemble that remark! I grew up in MinneSNOWta, and finally retired to north central Arkansas. I still have four seasons, but a considerably longer growing season (which means more possible crops) and considerably less freezing weather, which means more potential pests. Life is trade offs and, as the wise old person told the complaining child, “Life IS problems; deal with it.”
Thank you for including the out takes, they made me smile!
Glad you liked them!
Such a refreshing vid and thank you. Just recently am suffering from muscle inflammation, fatigue, range of movement problems. Some symptoms expressed by others here match well. Where I am, traditional assistance, is suspect.
Love it, that in addition to prayer, all the plant combinations for tea helps. We, as gardeners have nurtured, let proliferate, include additions of herbs which perennially appear, are the Creator's blessing to us, here on His footstool.
Love your outdoor collections.
Thank you! Actually some of the herbs are even growing in my own garden or at the mountains close by. I'll give it a try!
Rosemary is great for memory too. But I very much enjoyed seeing you as a real, unrehersed human at the end.
So happy to find this. I also have Lyme, and have all of these growing in my garden! Going to try this tea right away!
As a ND, I can say this combination of herbs is prime for the purpose claimed, although we must understand we all endure health issues differently‼️
THANKS❤
I’ve had Lyme several times and have been making a tea from sage, rosemary, thyme & a couple of green tea bags. I also have oregano in my garden & basil, will have to try adding those too.
I love the fresh herbs and also this tea looks like one I will have to try thanks
Mint also is very relaxing and a natural sedative.
Thanks. Good video.
One of my teas is nettle tea. When I finish the tea I am left with nourishing chewy bits at the bottom. Then I drink hawthorn tea for heart health.
Superb...and thanks for watching!
Beautiful flower arrangement on your table.
Thanks, my wife put that one together.
You're 110% right on everything that you say in this video.🤠
I think most of us would bloop all over the place and just let it roll. You have made a very pro style video! Thanks for the info!!
Thank YOU for watching!
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful garden, I do have all those herbs in my garden too, never thought to make tea with that combo. For my chronic Lyme disease I make tea out of Japanese knotweed, Chinese ladies slippers, Cryptolepis , catsclaw and Boswellia.
Love it. I have everything growing in my yard except the plantain. I have been drinking nettle tea supposed to have similar benefits. Love the outtakes……shows how much work goes into each video.
Thanks, yeah NOT introducing plantain in your little gem of a garden is probably a good idea...they are vigorous!
You just came up on my feed and decided to watch. Great info, thanks! I do lemon balm and thyme tea. Sometimes, I'll throw in some oregano, sometimes peppermint.
Good to see you, great job can’t wait to try this.
Thank J.D. much appreciated!
Thank you so much for the information! I enjoy learning about benefits of outdoor plants.
Thanks for watching!
I have fibro. I use decafe green tea as a base for some of my teas. I will try except the chamomile, only thing I seem to have an allergy to. Tried it for sleeping but it made me itch about 2 hours later. I do recommend if you're not allergic. It was working great...til I woke up itching. 😂 replaced it with lemon balm and catnip
Sounds like a good combo.
Excellent! I would like to suggest Yarrow to your list for tea. Its basically a wonderful herb for many, many issues, I use it for inflammation, digestion and for a good night's sleep and has a pleasant flavor. Also, I've read that Astragalus is a good herb to help with Lyme, not sure if it's right for a tea but its an herb very good for the immune system in any case.
Thanks for the tip!
Right on. I enjoyed your video and the great information on it as well. Thank you for sharing.❤
Thanks for watching!
Really appreciate the suggestion of putting mint in the garden spot that is unproductive. Good video.
Thanks for watching!
My sister got Lyme disease this year, so thankful your video popped up. I also struggle with digestive issues.
Glad I could help!
Glad to have happened upon your channel! I very much enjoyed the video and will be trying this tea soon. Thank you!
I started making herb tea as well . I have most of the herbs in my garden except camomile. A lot of plantains too.
Thank YOU for watching!
I definitely have to try, I’ve suffered with fibromyalgia since the mid 90’s and not osteoarthritis
I just discovered your channel the other day with your video about broadleaf plantain. My sister deals with a lot of things that today's video discusses. Thank you for sharing this info!

Thank you! ❤
This is wonderful. I enjoy the outtakes, and also all the good cross-references.
I appreciate your broad knowledge base. Keep up the good work!

You should start a tea company
I need one for all of the tea I make!
Yes 🙌
glad I've found you on yt. luv the walk-about demo (&bloopers) I luv to open the door n walk around picking my drinks n dinners, too❤
I'm glad too!
When I hang plants to dry I put a paper bag loosely over them so I don’t lose any that might fall off.
Good tip!
Rosemary tea for brain clarity :)
Gonna try the plantain tea now. Thx
Thanks for watching!
Thank you.

I gotta start growing chamomile & mint. I think I have all the other ingredients growing already.
This is great! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the garden!
Great information as usual! Will be making some ASAP!
Thanks for watching!
This is really good information to have available..Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for watching!
Nice video! Tea looks good. Chamomile is nearly over here, I always forget to dry any because it grows everywhere on the field borders. I only this year learned about plantain (wet have the narrow leaved kind here, just the same effects), especially for insect bites!
My usual go to try for anti inflammatory has been fresh ginger, fresh tumeric, black pepper and mint or nettles or both. Nettles are another NOT A WEED! So good for its anti histamine effect, and nutritional value both to us and to the garden (as a great big ever so stinky fermented fertiliser). I'll try to grow ginger and tumeric in my new greenhouse next year, I think!
Nettles ARE great!
I, too, have added turmeric with black pepper and ginger capsules to my everyday routine for inflammation with my Lyme and it’s helped SO much! I used to drink Ginger Fusion tea made by Tempest in a TeaPot which has all three in them plus cinnamon and persimmons and loved that! But before that I used to just throw a teaspoon of turmeric and a chunk of ginger in with my smoothies! It gives it a nice kick to them and makes it taste so much better!
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Bravo for this good recipe ! Thanks a lot!!!
Thank YOU for watching!
Beautiful patio. I love plaintain. It worked well on some wounds I had from an accident healed without scar and took pain away. Thank you
Thank you for an interesting and informative video. I especially enjoyed seeing how you use your French press to make tea. It's time to dust mine off and put it to good use in this way.
Glad it was helpful!
You should dry the mix and send it my way.😜
Thank you. Shared this video in my Facebook Group
Awesome, thank you!

Great video, thank you for sharing the mix for your tea!
I will definitely plant more herbs again.
A few seasons ago I lost several and have not yet replaced them.
And I’ve never grown my own sage, what a beautiful plant!
