Ultimately I'm going to watch any Cosmere media given to us. Live action is just my preference.
Arcane type of animation style would fit Mistborn (at least era 1) perfectly, but I do think Stormlight benefits more being a Live Action, and Brandon himself has stated that with the budgets he has been offered, it wouldn't be a problem to make things like spren in cgi

Dear god. Outside of the audiobook format, Michael Kramer's voice is an entirely different beast.
With the backdrop of this masterpiece of color choice and character design, it's absolutely haunting, emotionless as stone, but still rich and smooth.

This is awesome! I like the more Asian-inspired architecture you went with. It's not how I imagined Roshar but it's a cool interpretation and fits well.
the alethi at least are described as wearing very asian inspired clothing and ornaments along with the physical description of them their height being the only thing that isn't very typical for many asain country that however is due to many of those countries suffering from very poor nutrition because of a long history of droughts and flooding in the region problems the Alethi do not suffer from

@@nothappening5510 Yeah I know that's why I said it fits well. But cause of the Highstorms I imagined the buildings as mostly being very bunker-like stone structures. Like a WW1 fortification but built with mideval level technology.

Your animations of the Storm Light Archive are great!!! Unfortunately, they are generally few, and there are a lot of epic moments that haven't been animated yet. Are you going to make some more?

To people into audiobooks, I'd recommend looking into the Graphicaudio versions of Brandon Sanderson's work.
Michael Kramer is a great narrator, but that doesn't beat actually having different actors for any of the major characters.
I don't want to undermine Marc for an atmospheric animatic, but perhaps you'd like to take a look at these samples:

Their great up until they randomly replace voice actors several books deep. I spent the last year listening to their version of the Lightbringer Saga only to get to the **final** book and they replaced 80% of the cast with brand new voices, some of them having clearly never even listened to the previous books to make sure the personality still matched. The very main character for example was completely flipped from a growing hero into a zany punk purely from the acting alone despite no major chances in characterization.
I just can't in good faith recommend anyone to listen to any of their series unless the series is done and you know for sure they won't butcher it in the end.
That being said, they have thus far been good for Sandersons other books that have been shorter so they didn't run into the possibility of this issue. Highly recommend their version of Warbreaker and Mistborn. Elantris even had some of my favorite voice actor work so far with how they did Hrathen. But since SA won't be done until 2030s it's just a huge possibility that you'll listen to the same voice for Navani, Dalinar, Jasnah, etc and then come book 7 you suddenly have a nice VA.

To be honest, I didn't even think I would get so much feedback just by uploading it on youtube. I made this animation based on a commission from youtuber Alexelcapo for his book club (the cover of the video is the commission, the rest is personal work). When the book club launches, I'm going to twitter this and tag Brandon Sanderson. But I have no idea if he pays much attention to twitter notifications.

You need to review the story since you got some details wrong, but otherwise, well done.
I reread the scene to recreate it. If you say that because there shouldn't be a fire in the basement, I took creative liberty to contrast Vyre's figure for more impact.
I'm glad you like the work but calm down with this type of criticism, please. It's just a fanart, not an official adaptation.

But that's the point. He could not. For him, it would be like pointing a spear to Teft or Rock. Kaladin has always felt guilty for the people who he failed to save. Seeing an old friend go stray and knowing deep down that he could have done the same simply shattered him inside. Moash knew that and tried to manipulate Kal bc of that.

I didn't know that version. I just listened to it, the voice sounds too youthful for Moash as I imagine it.
But, you can be kinder by making suggestions. It's not about what I "should" or "shouldn't" do. I've created this scene just as I imagine it and I've shared it. This is all, I "should" nothing.
