  • I take my new Benro 34C Tortoise tripod out into the field for the first time as I travel to the Orkney Islands for a few days of landscape photography cut off from the world. Trying it out with my GFX 50s and showing how easy it is to carry with my Shimoda backpack.
You can buy these tripods through Ffordes Photographic

Absolutely! I just feel relieved that finally there's a tripod that I can actually carry without breaking my back! Glad you are enjoying yours!

Thanks for the video I think I should have found it before I ordered my tripod. I ordered Tortise 35c 5 section tripod thinking it would be short for my height but after watching your video, I think I should have got 34c 4 section tripod instead. Hope it works out well. Do you see any issues with the tripod .. perhaps you can do a follow up video.

Would you recommend I’m thinking if getting either the 34 or the 35. Not sure what difference is?

Thanks for the review, helped me out :). In your audio you use the left channel only for your voice. That is a bit weird. I understand the recording is mono, but you should split it to both left and right, makes for more natural sound. Now the music is on both channels, the voice on the left channel only.

What Shimoda backpack do you use?

They are great the Benro tripods.
I own 2 full Benro tripods and I would not
    use anything else.
    Cheers

You should ad a *BENBO* to the collection too, nothing more versatile for wildlife photography

Which version of the Shimoda are you using in that? 30L? 40L? 35L? 🙂
