  • Cheap and Best 390 of KTM? I do think so. In my opinion, the ADV390X is one of the most capable touring machines which can be taken off-roads mildly. Why mild? Do check out the entire video to know more.

Hey man! Just a correction, x variant gets the same suspension as adv250. There is no change in the suspension travel compared to standard/sw variant. It's 170mm on both. But the forks on the adv250/adv390 x are normal telescopic ones while standard/sw gets the open cartridge forks.

Very nice review brother..... I really loved it.
I also wanna share some geek talks over here.. 🥲 but.... Okay.
I was fortunate enough to test the all new Himalayan and was unfortunate to test the adventure series from KTM. But I test the brand new 390 Duke and yes it's true.... That LC4C engine has a sweet mid range.
But I'm just 5'5 so not only due to this reason, but for engine tractability, low end torque, mid range grunt.... I'll always choose the Himalayan. It may be heavy but TBH..... That thing doesn't let you get stuck.... I felt so.... Because when I was on the muddy trail.... The rear wheel didn't get stuck in the quick sand type of mud either.......
I myself own the Dominar 400 (same colour as you) and not gonna lie.... I love the engine tune of the dominar than the KTM's tune on that 373cc engine.
So yeah... The final verdict of mine is..... If touring is my purpose(which actually is).... I'd always choose the Dominar or the Himalayan..,... Well I didn't choose the Himalayan for now because I barely take my bikes offroading.... So I chose Dominar for myself..... And I'm really happy with it....
And also... Your review was really on point 😌
BTW I need sintered brake pad for my Dominar...... Because the front brakes are good..... But the rear brakes are trash.... But the front brakes sometimes really.... Like false out sometimes.
May I ask you brother what break pads do you use for your Dominar...? (We have the same colour models bruv👀)
Thank you for the review.... And I wish I could ride with ya... ♥️

Thanks a lot for such a detailed explanation!
Yes, the bike lacks the low end but that can be fixed with a few tweaks which make the Himalayan look like a better option but that's a heavier option. This bike is just so easy to take on the trails considering the weight factor.
Sintered brake pads are quite expensive (6k in HTRZ Modz). Hence, I opted for Vesrah Ceramic Brakepads (2.5k). They provide a much better bite and it makes you much more confident.
Glad to know there's another passioni Dominar rider out there.

@@motorcrit thanks bruv.......I've to change the brakes and tyres...
And yes.... Long live the Dominar.... 💯+💯+💯+💯: 400....
