  • The SIG Pro is a series of Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) semi-automatic pistols developed by SIG Sauer first introduced in 1998. It was the first polymer-frame handgun from SIG Sauer and was chambered in 9mm (9×19mm Parabellum), .40 S&W or .357 SIG.
The model SP2022 in 9mm was selected in 2002 as a new service pistol by French law enforcement and French security agencies. Over 250,000 units of the SIG SP 2022 were issued to the National Gendarmerie, National Police and French Customs.

no wonder its so smooth and never had any problems with the first 1000 rounds.
Its so simpe and robust! nothing extra. Non-complicated parts, just levers, latches and links that are machined just right and so well-built that it becomes one top-class firearm lol.

This is cool. You can see how the 4 point safety system works in this pistol.
