Can reolink please clarify is there a firm wear update that allows the camera to track in patrol mode?
I'm so disappointed that you have to pick one or the other I wouldn't have brought the camera if I knew this was the case🥺 iv got lots of reolink cameras I'm happy with but this camera really needed to patrol 360degrees and follow someone if found.
Ser i can I do it setup only with wifi? I take it but here i have only HotSpot phone. Not router.

Reolink needs to have a multi user interface that can limit users to certain cameras/systems/settings. I have multiple systems on one but dont want all users to see all cameras added. If i could limit a user to just one camera or a select few that would be amazing. Think commercial rental space with multiple tenants, or my block has over 40 reolink cameras. If we could access only the outside cameras with a certian group of friends..... the options are limitless.
Hello Joey, thanks for your suggestion. Currently, the solution is to add user accounts (support.reolink.com/hc/articles/900000793086 ) instead of sharing your own account or to only provide the UID of certain camera for certain user instead of sharing the NVR UID (czcams.com/video/OwWOErshGaY/video.html ).

The firmware bugs make the advertised features not work!

Not sure yet. Hopefully this year🥺The one we presented at CES was a prototype, and it needs to undergo several phases of quality check and tuning before actually being put on sale.

why required poe switch ? what kind of use ? cant conneect directly to the router ?
The camera should be powered by PoE NVR/PoE Switch/power adapter.
Shame u can't connect straight to router.
The 16x is a good idea... BUT
But without auto-tracking, night color vision, and spotlight.
Are 3 details that need, as always. 😅
Hi RW, thanks for your feedback. The latest firmware for the RLC-823A 16X supports auto tracking now. An alternative solution to have color night vision and motion spotlight is to link the camera with the Reolink Floodlight.

RLC-823A and TrackMix cameras have auto tracking.😀

But it can't focus while zoomed.
Devs, please - give us a fix, so the RLC823A (5X) actually works as advertised!
