    I had a 230 Suzuki quad"something" growing up. Semi automatic. Amazing memories.

    Everything 86 racer and sport and 87 88 and 89 500 s and the rest of the 250 racers and I will say that 86 quad sport is probably the rarest of them all absolutely love that

    Dude you got some legit frames there. iv seen videos of the giy that made that style a arm/suspension system and its super sick and innovative especially for the older machines they're making them for.

    Pretty cool seeing the 250 quadsport. That was my first 4 wheeler. Then went to a 86 lt250r then an 88 lt250r. Really wish I would have held onto the last one it was mint condition and I rebuilt it from then ground up. Love the channel, keep up the good work.

    Not a bad group at all. A little heavy on the lt500's but hey :P. We've got 2 86's, 2 87 250's, and 1 lt500. LOVE the old zuk's. Fun fact... the 85/86's are VERY strong. People are too quick to underestimate them. I have a mildly worked 86 that walks ALL OVER both of our 87's. Good stuff!

  • @chrisyeahbuuwassrileegowyn9279

    Nice to find some fresh Quadracer content. I am building an 86 and this is my first Quad, or Unit Zero it has been dubbed. Not new to 2 strokes, or new period for that matter, but missed out on the
    2 stroke sport Quad Era. So I hope to get my hands on a several variants, but a first gen/500 Hybrid is near end game machine I suppose✌

    Recently acquired a 1987 LT500R from a family friend. Super mint condition, less than 20 hours on it. It had the gas drained and was covered with a blanket and stored in a climate controlled garage more than 20 years ago. I’ve been searching for information on how to bring it back to life while preserving it as much as possible. What steps should I take to make sure it doesn’t splatter all over the place? Should I do a full rebuild? Just the top end? Chassis is immaculate beside a small tear in the corner of the seat. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Due to health issues I can no longer restore and ride much. Your garage is like a museum! I am in awe. It would be great to see you do a ground up restore on anything. Maybe an 85 or 86. With the gold anodized rims those classics really light up your garage space. I am living vicariously through your videos! Keep up the good work brother! I am a fan of every generation of this machine! You should restore an old Kawasaki js550 jet ski or similar model. It would be an ultra cheap build especially with your skills, attention to detail and garage set up. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to more builds. These machines rip for the trails. They have gobs of low end torque and midrange and when you get it tuned just right these machines are unstoppable. Just when you think it couldn't get any better you throw a leg over the zilla and it does everything the 250 does and then some. Power and torque everywhere. The banshee is great in stock form but they don't really wake up until you do pipes and at that point your looking at a motor that has an explosive top end hit and not much else. You can lug these power valved zukis all day in the trails like a 400ex or Hit the mid top and ride it like an rm250 MX bike. I never road a gas gas wild 300 but it seems like they just picked up where Suzuki left off. I am sure you could build and tune an lt250r that performs like a big bore KTM 300exc on 4 wheels with your knowhow. Keep the two strokes alive! You got some real nice lt230s too by the way.

    • @jaegersracing
      @jaegersracing  Před 3 lety

      I really appreciate all the enthusiasm and I agree with the Zilla power. You can lug it or scream it. It’s got lots linear power everywhere. Big bores are so impressive. I’ve got a lot of projects on the list, and I’m excited to share them. The list gets REALLY REALLY cool!

      I really should do that. Each bike has its own very cool story. The red-framed bike is going to be very killer. It’s my favorite and it’s honestly not even close. I’ve got BIG (and very expensive unfortunately) plans for it!

    • @jaegersracing
      @jaegersracing  Před 3 lety +2

      All of the seat covers you see ARE actually straight from Japan haha. All OEM seats. A lot of the graphics are from DDr Slapp on FB. Highly recommended for graphics. If you want an aftermarket seat cover to match the camo print of the ‘92 LT250r seat, then go to Cosmic Quads on FB. They’ve got a reproduction cover that matches pretty good.
