Only someone who takes time to build something nice will understand the amount of time and detail that goes into even just shock ressie mounts. Great work! Don't forget you can always pull the plug to kill your engine (as long as it's not dieseling 😅)
Haha you’re not wrong about either! It’s easy to get carried away with these builds! So rewarding though! I think I mentally discarded the plug wire option after I got zapped last time😂
Really sounds awesome...a beautiful machine. I wish I could get my hands on one of those... Since I was a kid I wanted a 500 2 stroke.. I did have a few 250s just never any 500s. Thanks for the video
Another excellent video! Great job explaining the math behind mixing two stroke premix. Get yourself a Ratio Rite or Maxima Quick Mix Jar for future mixing. Also, be careful with that motorcraft oil in the trans case. Great oil but it is not JASO/MA certified and is not recommended for wet clutch use. If you want to keep expenses down and use a great automotive based oil that is also JASO approved use Rotella T4 or Rotella T6.
It was testing mine too haha. I might redo it before I put the fenders on. It’s all I had handy that day. I even had to say in the video, “I don’t recommend these” haha.
@@jaegersracing must've misheard the video. But I use heat shrink connectors and pull test everytime after crimping. I have a set of crimpers that double crimp everytime, can't beat em.
I still cant tell the difference between the sound of 2 different 2 strokes, never been around them enough to hear much of a difference in them other than they are much louder when an aftermarket exhaust is on than stock silencer.
What I meant was the little power wire on the back it won’t shock you Great build though I love these old two strokes I have a bunch of atc and trx 250r’s
No worries. The radiator is from Michael Steiner (his number is: 620-218-4334) and the parts I’m making will be coming this fall/winter. I would just say to stay tuned to the channel. I will be posting updates on the channel and probably doing install videos and maybe even just a full build-up of a bike with all new parts
😂 Honestly I thought that after I watched it too (not the subscribers but overall enjoyment). That’s why I decided to make the 4 minute start-up one in addition to Part 4. I appreciate the support nonetheless!
I’ve got one of these not running sitting in my garage. This is the motivation I needed to go get it running.
Sounds so GOOD ! Can't wait to see this Zilla ripping !
You summed it up...great hobby & machines!

I know my mechanics but I had that happen to me twice scary as hell lol
I like the spacers for the motor frame bolts

@@jaegersracing yeah that hurts on any quad.
Awesome!!! Just watched all your videos and subbed... Hopefully, we can see this thing 100% complete and riding!
Dam that sounds soo clean can wait to finish mine

Duel carb madness! Love this bike!

Will be flushing what I put in it and putting in 80w gear saver
Great vid brother! Mikes firing mine tonight as well cant freakin wait!
Looked and sounded great! Can’t wait to see you guys ripping it!
I use a strip of electrical tape to hold the rubber on the shock cans just makes it that much easier haha
Love your passion for the machines it is so true!
Awesome!!! Ready for part 5 through 100. Sweet ass bike!
Big quad ! Amazing video
I need those reservoir clamps!
Sounds mint👌 braver man than me kicking that with bare shins showing that close to the foot peg haha.
Beautiful machine
Been waiting for this! 🤩🔥
In simple terms u need 4oz oil per gallon gas making 32/1
Working on my lt250r as I watch😂
Must mix that gas to go fast!!
Or you can keep the filter off the carb on first start to smother carb to shut down a runaway motor
Or pulling out the spark plug wire Wonder if that would work too.
@@danielg4717 yes, pulling off the spark plug boot will work
Simpler math is to take gallons and quarts to ounces. 32 oz of gas to 1 oz of oil
Any chance of the rear shock res and line having clearance issues if the suspension bottoms?
Probibly wouldnt hurt to bleed againe to burp whatever air may have made it to the top after running best of luck injoy!
Anyone know where to get an aftermarket swingarm for 87 zilla
Yes! 🙌🏻
Bad assssss 🤟🏻
Yea baby💪🏻
What are the footpegs?
Man you gotta use some heat shrink connectors. All these electrical tape connectors is testing my OCD and it isn't even mine 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Any plan to make more of those side radiators?
Anyone else making them?
Actually got the radiator from Michael Steiner. He makes runs of them from time-to-time. Will reach out to him and see if he’s still doing them
@@jaegersracing thanks! Sign me up for one if he still plans to.
Sounds good you bringing that to little Sahara?
Yessir! Can’t wait to ride with you guys!
@@jaegersracing Sweet! I’m really hoping I can make it! Bought a new house in the process of moving. Going to be real interesting.
Most shocks have very high pressure nitrogen you shouldn’t tell people to crack the bango loose
Were do I order a brake lever for a250
Stay patient and stay tuned to the channel or on Instagram @jsr__racing Will have lots of updates and ultimately they’ll be available on Amazon
@@jaegersracing . Ok sounds good I'd really like one. It's hard to find bullet parts to make a crazy Lt like u can 250 r
Just un plug the coil to kill it if you have to
Definitely could have done that too. Just zaps the crap out of me haha
What I meant was the little power wire on the back it won’t shock you

Any extra Quadzilla parts you Want to sell? 👍
If I have extra of what you might need then I’d consider. Just depends
That is a bitchin build love my 500 how do I get in contact with you interested where you got some of these parts you have
A lot of the parts were sourced over the last few years, but I plan to have a full lineup of parts for the LT500r and LT250r coming this fall/winter
You can follow me on Instagram @jsr__racing Will be making lots of parts for the LT500r and LT250r soon
I do not have Instagram or Facebook
