Anyone else find these videos extremely soothing and satisfying? I start to doze off after maybe 10 or 15 minutes of these because it just reminds me of that kind of trance you get into operating machinery for long times. All the sounds heavy machinery makes, I dont know why but I've always loved it, reminds me of peace and solitude! Always love your stuff man, you're a master at Damascus! Cheers!

I'm in awe every time I watch you work. Your knives are absolutely stunning. One question I have is, about half of the videos I've watched of you making absolutely beautiful blades, you temper the steel after honing a edge, but others you temper it before you hone an edge. Everything you do is mesmerizing! I just love everything you create. You are a true steel god!

Honing is the absolute last step. Maybe you're using the wrong word, but no one would temper after honing. Tempering is going to discolor the metal, and you would have to rehone it if you tempered after honing. That's like waxing before washing your car.
