For those who don't know, apparently the studio and kubo himself were hyping up episode 6, for MONTHS, saying that it's like a special gift for bleach fans and they couldn't wait for them to witness it and now here we are, what an EPIC BATTLE😭
This was so emotional bro like it’s been basically a decade of waitin for bleach. I was 9 years old when bleach stopped airing and now I’m 19. This episode here took me like an hour of watching just because I wanted to dissect every detail to the atom. I am glad to say that gift was the best I’ve ever had and no other anime will ever even touch the level that Bleach is at.
Oh and guess what, we’re only 6 episodes in :)

What I really loved about this episode is how they used multiple different animation styles during the fight in order to make it look so amazingly cinematic. It's just unreal, I couldn't even react properly cause I couldn't find a proper way in put it in words until after it was done lul 🔥🔥

@Kuzey Ilgaz May Nope, Yama had a theory about how Bankai stealing works, he was wrong. Ichigo is the only one who can resist it and it's for a different reason.
Many paid attention to the animation in this episode, but the best part for me was the character breakdown of Yama and how well Ywach uses mental tactics to win instead of sheer power. Ywach had Yama's squad and lieutenant killed first, this ultimately turned Yama into a rage monster fighting for revenge
- Here Yama is being completely spiteful, so instead of treating Ywach like a true threat and just erasing him, he tries to belittle, demean and torture him. In doing so, Yama isn't fighting like an experienced Commander which leads to him making the mistake of overusing his energy, which is why it was weak enough for Ywach to steal.

I said it in a different part of the comments here but I think people should know - Yhwach is a mistranslation. They're literally just saying the letters of Yahweh's (the Judeo-Christian god) original letters - YHWH (yu-ha-wa/"va"-ha). They're saying the "wa" part like a V, in the German style of pronunciation (remember that everything's basically using German for the Quincy terminology).
So the Quincy King's name is just YHWH, or Yahweh. The original translators were really, really bad and didn't understand. If you go look at fan translations they're almost as bad as "Yhwach," but not quite. Fansubs at least tried to sound it out.

Hey man as a manga reader, this episode surpassed the chapters on so many levels, not only was the fight GOATED, but that aizen scene was added in the anime to make the yhwach plot twist make more sense, it was rushed in the manga and out of place😂

not even close honestly, the animation was a step down and Zanka no Tachi east was done horribly in the manga is seen as a deep abyss of blackness because everything is erase upon touch however in the anime it looks like a damn explosion
the animation is similar to Dragonball Super

Fun fact: in the credits there's a name, Ryan White also known as Retro Ryno, who made a fan animation a few years back for bleach. It was one episode for tybw and a bunch of fights that are later on. He animated the first attack and Ywach by Yama

Ngl, this has to be the best animation studio pierrot has ever produced since the likes of naruto vs sasuke and naruto and sasuke vs momoshiki, the animation in this bleach episode was crazy, and its only episode 6.

Actually Sherm, Y are twins. The Y that fought Zaraki could copy powers and appearance; that Y didn't know Kenpachi would go beyond the idea of himself. This OTHER Y that fought Yamamoto can copy powers, appearance and memories, which is why he knew about Yamamoto from the past, because of Ywach's memories.
So what happened to the fake Ywach's sword was that basically Yama just had an invisible wall of pure condensed reishi fire so the second he swung his sword at him, it got evaporated.

I loved the hint they threw in there during the fight. Yamamoto said he summoned the dead that Ywach mercilessly scarificed, which implies that he wasn't someone who cares about his subordinates. Then the real Ywach shows up and kills the guy who fought for him.
Next episode is going to have "That line"! !
