19:02 exactly, Aizen himself stated that he was fusing with his zanpakuto, however onve urahara told he was rejected by the hogyoku then many thought he only lost his sword for good, but as Ichigo stated Aizen wasn't rejected by the hogyoku, he simply wished to return a shinigami again deep in his heart. Here the confirmation, Yhwach said that he is fused with hogyoku (hence he wasn't rejected) and then he said he altered his sense. Which means that now Aizen can cast perfect hypnosis if you look at him, since he became one with his kyoka suigetsu.

Ichigo was actually using the hollow powerset in the beginning. That sensory ability was Pesquisa, which the Arrancar use, and the flash step was actually sonido. Shit's cool.
to expand on this, he's now not using his mask because he's pretty much always using his hollow powers now, evident by the white ornaments on his outfit
@@dionmeijers4417 well no. the white bits are his fullbring, yes it's part of his hollow powers, but White was asleep at the time. Ichi can only use the mask with White's permission.
Hold on, how can you tell the difference? His Soul Reaper and hollow powers were supposedly always melded together. If anything, he should have been using Hirenkyaku the whole time for high speed movement, and Quincy sensory abilities.
@@kmgyening the sound on his "flash step" was the same as the one Sonido makes, also why the Quincies couldn't sense him afterwards. At that point Ichigo was pretty pissed and acting on instinct so him using all of the powers at the same time without realizing it makes sense.

My 2 favorite scenes in this episode
1. Anime only’s finally got confirmation Ichigo’s mom was a Quincy
2. Aizen is still a massive problem even though he’s sealed up and in jail, he was still able to alter this really powerful enemy’s senses despite that.
"My son born in the dark" is a metaphor... Since Ywach considers all quincies as his extended family and Ichigo was born and grew up without any knowledge of being a quincy.
To think Aizen of all people would be the one to save Soul Society and not Ichigo here. Imagine that.

Although Yhwach was going to keep crushing SS and only decided to walk away when he felt Ichigo
Aizen had to save his true son
It's a collaboration between the two. Both of them contributed to saving the soul society by using some of yhwach's remaining time. Even with aizen's interference, if ichigo hadn't kept yhwach there until he went back, yhwach would have went around bodying every captain, especially now that they can't use bankai.
Byakuya's speech perfectly sums up why Yamamoto failed, since the two are fairly alike characters. Yamamoto's sense of honor and duty prevented him from explicitly asking for help from humans, even if those humans were capable of doing so. The most he ever asked for was Ichigo's help as Ichigo is capable and at least on par with several of the captains. As contrast, Byakuya's sense of honor and duty prevented him from outright asking for help, but he accepts or indirectly allows others to help. Yamamoto's failure to ask for help and his stubborn pride and anger are his downfall.
Komomura (the doglike captain) is probably the better of the honor-bound characters, his honor doesn't prevent him from asking or accepting help. While it's his direct subordinates most of the time, Komomura actively directs them according to whatever plan is decided on.
Yamaji was referring to himself in that scene with Shunsui
He was a ruthless monster when the gotei 13 was started, leading what was essentially a bunch of vicious criminals and murderers. When it ended pretty much that Yamaji war ended he changed over the years. Its probably one of my favourite little scenes from this arc
I think this is the first reaction channel that i've watched that pointed out how damaged Zangetsu looked during the fight
I think they also first to figure out aizen fused with his sword and that's how he tricked yhwach.
They actually pay attention on this channel which is why I love the bleach reactions

@@mufeezsyed2664 Probably because they are one of the only ones who just watched everything prior. Keep in mind a lot of reactors probably would have last seen bleach over 5 years prior. So all that aizen stuff is fresh for them
Remember, he is the first Quincy so all the other Quincies are like his children. It's like Adam and way down the grapevine to us.
2 Factors why it easily broke
1. Ichigo having self doubt since a zanpakuto represents the soul of its owner. Him having self doubts probably weakened his soul > weak the integrity of his sword
2. Jugrams schrift. Not spoiling it but manga readers would understand why

Great reaction guys, this show is peak. These last two episodes have so much to unpack.
The call backs to prior episodes is just peak. Remember Kenpachi saying how much stronger a sword is when it is used with two hands. Yamato was not at 100 strength when he fought fake Yhwach as he couldn't bring the full power of his bankai to bear. Ichigo's uniform being in tatters shows that he used a large amount of energy to break out of the jail. Remember he told Captain Unohana that his uniform was part of his bankai and that if it is damaged it means his power is diminished. Also Yamato grabbing Yhwach's leg in defeat the same way Ichigo grabbed Byakua, chef's kiss.
Peak bleach🗿
Aizen is technically still fused with his zanpakuto. And being within certain range of him puts you within range of his spiritual pressure. He can still mess with you within certain range. The dude is basically an Uchiha without the eyes at this point. They got genjutsu'd from him by simply saying hello.
Now we know Ichigo was able to absorb all of Rukia's powers at the start of the series.
Yes, she woke up the memories in his soul of his soul reaper power. He became a sponge.

Visored are essentially just SR who have hollow powers and Fullbring are few set of humans who have a fragment of the soul king within them.

And this is why the change of spiritual pressure being Yellow in the new anime is important, you can clearly see the difference between his three powers by the colours, Yellow is Soul Reaper, Red is Hollow and Blue is Quincy.
Also some people pointed out that Ichigo seemed to be using Pesquisa when he saw the spiritual pressures disappearing and that the sound effect of his speed sounded more like a Sonido than a Flash Step. If that's on purpose then it really goes out to show how used he is to using Hollow and Soul Reaper technics at the same time
Ummm just a minor correction. Ichigo's spiritual pressure was always golden yellow. It was the OG director or producer for some reason IDK what, they changed it to blue amongst others changes. I know it's tit bit. Sorry about that 😅.

@17:41 at this point ichigo is a Vizard- Quincy & Fullbringer hybrid. The Quincy & Fullbringers are still basically humans (highly spiritually aware & awakened but still humans) while vizards are shinigami with hollow reiatsu fused in them.

Many don't notice but Byakuya is on the same bridge he fought Renji on back in the SS arc. He gets hit by the same bankai launch move but takes more to go down, and then has his sword shatters in the same fashion as he realizes Ichigo must be the one to save what he loves.
This episode went so hard, and starting with the bonus scene of the original court guard squad was incredible.
There's something in common between Alcuard and Ichigo. It's how they have their power, "fuck you that's how."

The other "races" that people frequently confuse him for (Fullbringer and Visored) are not actually races in themselves, but merely various configurations of the 4 basic components.

Always been curious what would've happened if he'd still been at that level for this.
Never understood how Ichigo had been a soul reaper for a few years and obtained that power by training for 3 months straight with his zanpakuto (or the equivalent to 3 months) and over the thousands of years of soul society and some characters being that old (Yamamoto, unohana, etc) none of them seemingly did the same thing.

1.ichigo learn Bankai for 3 week ( this is not really Bankai more like Shikai, because ichigo can use ability Getshuga and Hollow mask in this form , normal soul reaper only can use their zanpakuto ability in Shikai but ichigo Shikai can't do anything he only can use special ability in Bankai ( so ichigo Bankai is more similiar to normal Soul reaper Shikai but 2x more powerfull because ichigo Huge spirit energy)
2. Dangai ichigo ( is actually Real Shikai ichigo, this is the first time ichigo mixed all his power become one ( because ichigo treebid his Shikai power are the combination all his power)
3. Final Getsuga ( ichigo become the zanpakuto himself so he become the Power not the user ichigo just need to ask his zanpakuto spirit)
Ichigo never did something special is look hard because the 2 spirit inside of him dosn't want to work together, if ichigo can control his 2 spirit he will be strong.. Ichigo is born strong because of Huge spirit energy, remember Kenpachi lack skill but strong than almost every captain because of his Huge spirit energy..

Fun Fact - if you go all the way back to when Ichigo fought Kenpachi for the first time and Kenpachi killed him by stabbing through his sword and into his heart, "Zengetsu" claims that he has stopped the bleeding using his power...now that we know who "Zengetsu" is, that was foreshadowing of "Blue Vene" super early on in the series.

I was distraught over this ep when it came out Cuz I love Byakuya and he seemed dead. So many revelations also happened that I didn't know what to make of. And then there was Aizen trolling Yhwach. What a rollercoaster of emotions this ep was
