I’m really wondering how are you right now and what happened to you through these 9 years, did you ever come back to listen to the song again? Or maybe you got married and had kids? Died?(i hope not) if you ever see this please reply, wish you all the best my dear
i was on the road in the night of the 24th of december, in a hurry, in an awful mood: sad, aggressive, loneley, then i heard this song. everything was fine then. it healed and calmed me down...wonderful.
Yeah but the person they saved may be a future suicide bomber or a rogue politican who starts a nuclear war in 2036. Of course, I'm joking. Humanity will be long gone by 2036
I was laying in the couch editing photos all alone when I heard this song. After listening, I felt this sudden urge to do something with my life. Like go out and just enjoy and be free. I did that exactly.
First time i heard this was after an amazing night on acid with who i thought was the love of my life. At least I'll always remember that feeling. Through this song. Connected through space time.
I almost can't listen to her anymore. Too painful to know she's gone and from an illness most people recover from. Why does god take the best and leave the rotten ones behind.......It's just cruel.
for some reason this song makes me so sad and lonely. its so depressing and makes me feel like i'm alone on a snowy night. regardless its a beautiful song
Agreed. When my father was in hospital after a cardiac arrest, and we were uncertain if he would live, I kept playing this on the way back home from visiting the hospital. Almost like a compulsion. I'm happy to say my Dad is still with us, but this song does strange things to me, even more so after Trish Keenan's death.
similar.... sadness, stillness.... and I see/feel that snow also! cold and alone.... but not depression to me... just alone in the universe, ego death..... somehow, there is comfort. maybe daylight and warmth... maybe not alone.
The wind has gone, the invisible come Your memories are being run The mountain scarred by invisible bombs The stillness is on guard Oh, the wind will come, blow answer, echo's answer The mountain mine from invisible time I am next in line The message sent was of discontent From incline to incline Oh, the wind will come, blow answer, echo's answer The wind is near, the invisible hear Come my thoughts away from fear Oh, the wind has come, blow answer, all these echoes
Alone, late on a cold & snowy night. Sitting peacefully, watching the horizon line of the sea on a sunny summer's day. On an evening walk as the wind blows the dead leaves all around you in Autumn. Feeling totally calm while caught in a fierce Springtime storm. This encompasses all those feelings for me, all those times when I'm by myself and there's nobody else around. Yet I'm at peace
This music is here for unthinkable amount of more people to hear and digest, it never gets old or dies. Her voice is and every sound that accompany it are amazing. I find it as fascinating as it was the first time I heard it (near 11 years ago?). The chaos that exists within the composition I see as being more honest or down to earth, she is angelic.
Just heard this song for the first time ever tonight. Never heard of this band(?) It feels like I’ve just found something very special that I’ve been missing out on for my entire life. Can’t wait to dive in
the first time i heard this song i was driving on a long stretch of desolate wyoming highway. surrounded by grassland in the early evening, on a road trip across the country. the feeling of the song fit that scene so perfectly, it was beautiful.
Broadcast is one of the only bands that I can say, reach into me and pull something beautiful out. It's hard to describe how it makes me feel, but all I know is that the impact Trish and her band made on me will last forever.
It was February 2023. My mom went to the doctor for abdominal pain and jaundicing. Bile duct cancer. It was fast, ruthless and unmerciful. She was dead shortly after starting chemo. She didn’t stand a chance. I’m not a super spiritual person necessarily, but I’d like to think she’s still out there, somehow, somewhere. It’s very unlikely I’d ever see her again given the vastness of the universe. …and that’s okay.
this song reminds of when i was a kid and my mom would clean our house before having family over,,,like the vibe of the house being oddly clean/uncluttered before people arrived ?
Just the best chill pill ever. Transports me to a good place. Always need to follow this with obvious influence of The United States of America - Cloud Song ✌️❤️
Darío Gómez no estoy seguro si lo sampleó pero es una clara influencia. Ella puso música en un episodio de What’s on my bag y escogió esta canción entre otras. busca el vídeo aquí en CZcams.
This song has this strange quality about it... released in 2000, almost like a prophecy of the next chapter in history to come. It's as if something about it was extracted from a place that can not often be reached.
This song is very beautiful and sort of melancholy. I like to imagine GLaDOS or some type of highly intelligent ai writing this after spending and eternity with no Internet
Hey.. Idk if you heard already, but James has a new project called Children Of Alice with some other members and collaborators of Broadcast, and they just released their debut album earlier this year: open.spotify.com/album/6y9YB60HpwvXrj0qurliCC?si=hiK_61zuQIqdWbKOwDveGA
@@jessicas9940 it's good when we can have have a difference of opinion but still be civil. Personally I'm of the opinion radiohead are a far more musically rounded group and have a consistency unmatched by few artists of the past 25 years. I won't try to change your mind or anything or comment further.

Damn that means this song might have saved the life of someone on the road by calming you down
