This is an incredible presentation of the band. This is my first time seeing Trish performing. She was gone way too soon. She had the voice of an angel. Their music gives me a transcendental experience. May it live on forever. Rest in peace, Trish.
Great performance, thanks for sharing it! I like how Trish's vocals are mixed: louder, brighter and more pronounced than on the album versions, I think it's a good choice
Just wonderful. Instantly loved these the first time I saw them. An enchanting mix of analogue sounds and Trish's haunting voice was just so bewitching. Thanks for posting this; "Come On Let's Go" is still one of my favourite songs.
Listen to “Cloud Song” by The United States of America and “Unchanging Window” by Broadcast back to back. Trish Keenan and Dorothy Moskowitz are definitely spiritual siblings. I love them both.
@@RocknJazzer Maybe just go listen to The United States of America and realize they were the biggest influence on Broadcast, more so than Stereolab whose label they were signed to early on. It's more direct.
You won't find it by yourself You're gonna need some help And you won't fail with me around Come on, let's go I will tell you if you change And who's been saying things It's hard to tell who is real in here Come on, let's go You know who to turn to, now everything's changed, come on, let's go Stop looking for answers in everyone's face, come on, let's go What's the point in wasting time On people that you'll never know? Come on, let's go When you're looking for a friend But it's empty at the end When everybody disappears You won't be alone If you want I'll compensate If you overestimate So there's nothing left to fear You won't be alone You know who to turn to, now everything's changed, come on, let's go Stop looking for answers in everyone's face, come on, let's go What's the point in wasting time On people that you'll never know? Come on, let's go You know who to turn to, now everything's changed, come on, let's go Stop looking for answers in everyone's face, come on, let's go What's the point in wasting time On people that you'll never know? When you know who to turn to, now everything's changed
Can someone please explain why people singing and playing instruments is called electronic music? What is considered not electronic music and why? Ditto Portishead etc. Yes there's sampling but its not the core of the music.

Noise Made By People is my favorite Broadcast album. This is a mesmerizing performance. Trish Keenan is deeply missed.

I just discovered them today and found out she passed away. She had a beautiful sound and a beautiful look and now my chest hurts😞
The message of "Come On Let's Go" is so optimistic without sounding corny...plus its catchy as hell!
Its my anthem.
They've become one of my all time favorite bands , such a shame I'm too late to see them live but thank you for keeping these
I love the 60's vibe of this band a lot

Trish's death sucks :( I feel so sad inside when I see her.
I just discovered them and they are great! But now im sad because she died young😢
What an amazing band…..
The drums make this whole performance magic
legendary band. RIP Trish
por algunos minutos, la mejor banda de la historia de la humanidad fue broadcast
What's the point in wasting time, with people you'll never know, come on let's go, R.i.p. but you're music lives on.
Hauntological Beauty. 🖤

More like the Broadcast gal borrowing from Stereolab gal. Both were doing pseudo ironic takes on 60s music, perhaps that of the USofA

@@seandack8263Yes I said I am a fan of the 60s USA band, not into b.cast or s.lab because of the pseudo irony aspects not present in the originals

Do we deserve listening to Broadcast? No.
This band is the perfection we’ll never reach.
RIP Trish. So unfair.
I miss Trish
Trish... 😢

Hmmm good question. I wonder if synths or electronics have anything to do with it?
what zdf.kultur program is it?
