I actually got the honor to work with the set player this week I was at a band camp and the person who is leading it had actually taught him before and he had actually came to this camp is the camp at UT Tyler, jazz camp and so he came and gave us some lessons as a set player . It was really insightful and there was only five of us so he got to actually do a lot with us and it was really cool getting to see him play and all the skills he has at just 20 years old.
I went to high school in Denton and my best friend and I would occasionally skip school after lunch and sneak into the one o’clock rehearsals.
