Zelda would've looked so much cooler with long flowing hair! Especially if she's fighting... Cutting her hair off doesn't equate to being a warrior! It just ruins the majesty of battle scenes!
Flowing hair is hard to get down in video games. Mostly likely is an engine limitation. Edit: also cropped hair does make perfect sense for battle. You don't want anyone grabbing your ish
Kudos to you for keeping tabs on the Zelda mythos. Because none of it makes sense imo/genuinely impacts my enjoyment of the series
