Lastly, I am an econ major double concentrating in business analytics and entertainment and media, so I hopeee to possibly be working at a tech firm or in entertainment! ONLY TIME WILL TELLLL! I see myself starting a nonprofit organization based in Africa (starting in Ghana) focusing on education and health services . I just want to be happily living my best life, changing lives, and to make my fam proud 🥺🙏🏾
Can you include more students majoring in fields that might not always lead to the highest paying jobs? I'd love to hear from students majoring in the arts, music, human development (teaching), religious studies, and anything else that's usually not chosen for the salary.

Having graduated from Georgetown Univeristy with BA and MBA. I love that this group has dreams and aspirations. Never compromise your dreams. As a cybersecurity analyst who has worked at multiple IT Tech Fortune 500 companies in Japan, China, USA, India and Europe, and as a published writer penning the struggle for people of colour and social justice. I urge this group to research corporate systems and dichotomies and discrimination of young people, and people of colour. In the age of #BlackLivesMatter the corporate system drives the narrative. That's so stupid lol. You can be a great doctor, help other people and still be interested in making a lot of money.
By the way, medical school does not equal money for most residences. Your educational system is fucked and many aren't left with the choice of pursuing a medical field that won't allow them to pay off milliards of debt.

I’m not even in college anymore but I love these videos lol. Ten years from now I’ll be in a similar place as Issa Rae. I’ll have written, produced, and starred in a tv show of my own, and be overwhelmed by the amount of people who want me to help write/act in their scripts. Don’t really care for marriage, but I do care for a personal chef because I can’t cook for shit 🥴

in 10 years I'll be 22! My two main interests are Astronomy and Politics, so I guess my career would be an Astronomer, or the first African American, female president (in my dreams lol). I hope I go to an Ivy League... I'm thinking about Columbia or Yale, preferably Yale. Marriage... I'm not too eager about it, but the only way I'm getting married is if I truly believe that I found the right one. Kids, not so sure about that right now. Hopefully I'll be a millionaire in the future. And be vegan. :)

Nobody's stopping you from being vegan now. I would honestly try it out while you're young so that when you're older, you can be like "Nah imma eat meat again" and you can have a higher appreciation for the quality and value of meals. And don't worry about growth. Many vegans just take supplements.

I ’m not in college anymore but Its interesting watching these videos. Being stuck in quarantine the past couple months , these videos have been on my recommended list . It’s great the country has so many bright minds that can make a difference in the future . Great dreams! For me I’ve never expected to be in a position of a Director for a media and tech company. Would love to encourage more to get into tech and be leaders in tech. And I love traveling, during the ten years have visited pretty much all the different corners of the world and will continue to do so . Good Luck to all!

I’m headed to UCLA to get my PhD in medical physics! I just got my b.s. in physics😊 And in 10 years from now.. I’ll be 32 with a family and working as a radiation/ medical physicist
and researcher.

Ten years from now I'll be 29. It's still a very young age for me and very early in my career so I hope to still have the drive to run around and hustle instead of settling down. I'd love to be around the Washington/Oregon area (I'm in Texas rn for college). Hopefully doing some start-up businesses (Partially why I'd love to be in Washington) while working my full-time engineering job. Not seeing myself married by then but a long-term partner would be awesome :) We'll return in 10 years and see where I'm at!

In 10 years, I hopefully would be doing what I absolutely love. I've always wanted to do something in the arts but also would not mind going into tech, so I could maybe combine those two! But I haven't been able to explore art too much in HS so I hope I get to explore and expand in college. If helpful, I might get an MBA.
I would also love to live in my dream house, which is a combination of Korean/Japanese styles and surrounded by nature :)

In ten years I’ll be 24, I’m probably still studying cus I really want to be a surgeon. But I hope that I get into a really good college. Right now I’m really interested in cambridge, Harvard and UPenn, but it’s really hard to get into it. I have good grades but I have really bad luck at the same time ://, I just want to be successful and then form a family.

In 10 years I hope to have a degree in some kind of science. I have a learning disability and am doing everything I can to get tested so I can get the help I need to pass and be successful like you guys. Its going to be 10x harder for me but im willing to put the work in. I am a cna, esthetician and massage therapist and want to have a set career. I did all this when I was 18-20 yrs old. Ready for my big girl career!

Ten years from now I’ll be close to finishing off my residency to become a pediatrician. I might be living in Arizona or somewhere else in the southeast/southwest close to some family. I want to be in a fulfilling relationship looking forward to having my first child. But truly I just want to be living a happy, satisfying life with the people I love.
In ten years from today, I’ll be 26, almost 27, and hopefully I will be in my first year of dermatology residency and writing on bioethics and medical law 😊. I hope that by then I’ll have one cat, a dog, and hopefully a boyfriend, we’ll see.
Where do I see myself in 10 year? Well first I'll be 29 and either having a career in teaching high school sciences somewhere in the US. In ten years, I’ll be 27, and hopefully by then I would be at least a assistant professor at Cornell for Architecture teaching the next generation of architects and designers, I also want to be finish with my architecture licensing exams and be working for a firm focusing in environmental architecture and fabrication architecture. I don’t see myself married or anything, but I want to be comfortable enough to help with my family and make my parents proud as being the first in my family to graduate college and to show the world that a low income black student can do anything and become successful. I would also like to start a college admissions firm to help other low income student who want to major in architecture, art, landscape architecture, product or industrial design, and urban planning. Wow!! We pretty much have the same goals/background-I’m interested in design and am also a black, low-income student. I just graduated from an arts high school and I was admitted to Cornell for architecture, but I decided to go to Stanford. Though this was such a tough decision, after much thought I came to the realization that I want to take a break from the arts and explore other fields first before possibly getting my masters in architecture (with an environmental/urban focus). My journey was a bit chaotic lol but good luck with everything, you got this!!!

Emma He I didn’t apply early action to any of the ivy’s bc I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted so I wanted my options open, especially for comparing financial aid bundles. I only applied early decision for public schools bc they allowed me to know my decision without being forced to pick that school before hearing back from the others
hi I’m not in the video LOL but deferrals do not mean rejection!! I applied early to Princeton, got deferred, and then got in! 10/10 would still recommend non-restrictive early action, it’s nice to be able to get a decision early

10 years from now I’ll be 30. I’m going into my junior year in undergrad and applying to physical therapy school soon. I’ll probably be done with PT school by 2026 if everything goes to plan. Even if I don’t get in the first round, I’m still going to reapply because at the end of the day it is what I want to do. Doesn’t matter how long it takes. I do care about the income but living lavish isn’t really a need for me. What I want to do is have a stable income to support a family and help others. Catch me in my 2012 blue Toyota Prius 😂.

First you have get accepted into a medical school after undergrad which I feel isn’t enough seats for the many applicants then after medical school trying to get a residency 🤯 You will be so busy 🏃 you won’t have time for reality tv acting. Why are so many young people in the US (not talking specifically about the guys in the video) so fixated with meeting their future partner in college and with getting married so young in general? I feel like in Europe most students are wayyy more laid back about this..
Well its mostly how we were taught and tropes we find in movies about college. I go to a public uni in the midwest and its mostly farmland so students would find their partner and get married after college and within those first years.
