Hello Richard. I'm from Belgium and my father (Pierre Debeck) who is 91 years old now is also a painter artist, still painting and is very inspired by your work. Last year I gave him a tablet and since a few months now he is watching all you youtube video's and studying your way of painting. He told me that he is a great fan of you and impressed by your work. I'm musical artist myself. I subscribed on your channel. Cheers Luc and greetings from Belgium
I don’t know how you do what you do. That is a beautiful painting. How awesome that you love what you do for a living. It shows in all your paintings. Of course, I love all your paintings but the coastal ones are my favorites. I love the tranquility of the ocean.
I am aware struct with your beautiful work. To paint in bod strokes and loose work is genius! I love your work! Thank you for your talent, sharing all with us! From Massachusetts, USA
Hi Richard. I just love this seascape! You capture the bright light off the cliffs and the reflections in the water so well, I can almost smell the ocean and fel the salty breeze, wonderful!
You wanna know how good Richard REALLY is? 4 videos in, and I just realized he's a lefty. Simply amazing work that makes you sit down and just admire. ~Cheers.
Hello Richard. Your painting is a real little gem: the different blues of the sea, the shimmering ones of the cliff, the little rock lost in the middle of the water, the sky with its pretty little clouds... wonderful once again. I don't have enough words to congratulate you. Cheer! See you soon.
Hi Richard my friend watches your videos he graduated from the Roy o Disney college cal arts and watches your videos I watched one too because I kept hearing u paint while he learned your techniques great 👍 job thanks for inspiring my friend Dominic to Want to paint again and he said it's because u show interest and enthusiasm when u paint hopefully he can get that back too
What a beautiful painting, the reflections, sky, distance and colors in the water. Loved seeing you do the brush in the sketch and initial block-in of the water too. So lovely, you are an amazing artist and person. Thank you!
The beach, the beach, how I dream of the beach feet on the soft sand salty water swishing over the top of my toes. Thank you Richard for a wonderful scene
Richard love this as always from Alan here in the UK. I just love watching you especially loved the canoe 🛶 lately. That was awesome been following you now for years just love what you do. Makes my plein air stuff love ordinary
Nice! I can almost feel the warm breeze in what remains of my hair 👴 You have inspired me to get out my pallet knives and give it a go! No seaview cliffs where I am (Stockholm) but your principles are sure to be applied to any landscape motif. 🙂
Mate I've never watched a video like this before but I really really enjoyed it. I have just subscribed so I can see some more,of your wonderful stuff, good on ya,cheers.
Thanks again Richard! It’s hard to believe how quickly you can build such a beautiful image of the ocean and earth. Magnificent technique…. and very inspiring for the viewers. I’m struggling to attain anything remotely like your masterpieces but it’s great to have a go in my retirement! Cheers Ian - a fellow ‘crow-eater’ :)
wow fabulous seascape, beautiful work , master of the pallet knife ! looks amazing ! I use your "know when to stop" with my paintings and I am using my pallet knife where needed too.
Greetings from Canada. Your energy is reflected in your paintings, I must give it a try. I also like your limited colour palette which you use effectively in perspective. Keep up the beautiful work and the inspiring videos.
G'day Richard, another piece of magic mate. You have captured the ocean beautifully, such depth of tone. The cliffs, well I expect perfection from you and got it but those rocks at their base, the varied colours and random shapes lift it. Love the softness and diminishing value of the distant headland. "...random marks, soften, variety..." is a mantra of words you often use and how important they are. The one thing that I always come back to is freedom of movement. The confident, bold strokes of the blade, the push and pull. The commitment to the stroke of brush or blade is key to a successful scene. Detailed simplicity masterclass once again. A great way to start the day with a cup of tea and a Musgrave-Evans adventure to delight and teach. Cheers, Rich
@@richardmusgrave-evans9886 I put in words what you paint. Every paint nourishes me with optimism and the beauty of nature. Thanks for your generosity mate.
👋Greetings, Richard. Wow, what a location, what a terrific motif ! And what an excellent painting, almost a symphony in blue, were it not for the bright sunlit rocks that harmoniously interrupt it. The excellently mixed and placed colors give the painting the right depth and the different shades of blue and turquoise make the ocean appear vast and powerful as it is. Pure color harmony. The reflections of the rocks in the water are also brilliantly depicted. You have the right eye for the beauty of nature, Richard. Thank you for sharing it with us again. It's always a pleasure to watch you create a new work of art. Blessings to you and have a peaceful weekend. ❤👍
