- Today I'm in the studio giving a demonstration on painting a coastal seascape - in oils - with both brushes and palette knife! The inspiration comes from my recent plein air trip to Kangaroo Island, where I was enjoying beach life, swimming and camping!!!

I am totally hooked on your videos. The Outback scenery has a lot in common with west Texas. I live in the Dallas, Texas area. I just started oil painting again after 40 years. I learned to paint from my grandmother in teens but stopped in my early 20’s. It is so inspiring to see the different styles that artists use.
