Hey Richard I've been loving watching your videos & your style. Your paintings have inspired me to try palette knife paintings. I really love the way you capture the breathtaking countryside. A few more years of work before I retire & looking forward to the grey nomad travelling & painting.

Hello Richard. Happy to see you again. I have the impression that your trip has not been easy with the flies that leave you no respite and the rain that gets involved at the end! Anyway, I really like your last painting. The few changes you've made to your return home, have made it really beautiful. The rocks and the reflections in the water are particularly magnificent. Thank you for sharing this trip with us. See you soon.

How do you do, Richard ? - Your videos are characterized by a high entertainment value, they are much better than TV and one learns a lot watching them.
I sincerely hope you enjoyed your trip as much as we enjoyed the video sequences of it and your work, as the main thing.
The environmental clips and the cooking and baking of your food blend in almost seamlessly as icing on the cake of your pictures.
Excellent paintings, I liked all four of them, the first and last best. 1) Very nice landscape detail, lots of movement, and the colours are top notch. 4) The rocks and reflections on the water are wonderfully rendered and extremely pleasing in colour. Image 2) gets a lot of depth just from the use of vibrant colours, and 3) is interesting as a good template for image 4, see the shape of the rocks and the colouring of the water. But I'm just giving my own favorites here 😍 It would be interesting to know which one you liked best yourself.
Thank you, Richard, stay safe and healthy, and have a pleasant week. 👋❤👍

wow! That little study at about 39:27 is an absolute jewel! I really enjoy these scenes of Australia. The unspoiled outback, the birdlife, it all seems pretty magical. I'm sure the flies are a nuisance at times but that's true about anywhere. What you end up with after putting up with it seems worth it. Fantastic stuff, Cheers!

G'day mate, wow a nice long 4 piece study, must be Christmas. Been waiting for this one, I knew it would be coming. Epic journey with weather contrasts and wildlife to entertain you. Love all the studies you captured, culminating in that large piece. Pure enjoyment and creativity right there. All your paintings are full of energy and interest. A sedated,, soft morning light, the splashes of colour under a mid day Sun or the last hurrah of light as night beckons. Each and every moment is treasured and captured in a way that fills this viewer with delight and curiosity. Much to take in my friend, even in it's simplicity of hinted detail. Throw in a Musgrave-Evans created meal and what more could feed us. Cheers, Rich

Wow that was a trip and a half.. and you just get out and do it, regardless of the weather. good on you.. I have noticed you use more of the cobalt blue lately in your paintings rather than ultramarine blue. Is it a seasonal thing or just a change . Brilliant watching your camping etc, and how satisfying is it sitting with a fire eating and just enjoying the peace of being outside miles from the mad rush of city and urban life. its cool. Bill

Best video ever! Can I make one suggestion, as one camping chef to the other? I noticed you just threw the raw garlic right into the mix. I'd sauté the garlic for a bit first, until it becomes automatic. Then add it to the mix. Give it a try, and tell me what you think. I find it distributes the garlic flavor better and isn't as bitter when you bite into it.
