I couldn't stop watching. This was supposed to be a 5 min. browse on CZcams. It is so good to see another couple have the same conversations my husband and I have. I believe it's those conversations that make the marriage strong. Reinforcing what you want your kids values to be in themselves and always being present will help them get there.
So true. It's making sure to give them all the attention they need thats the hard part.
My wife sometimes struggles with self worth at time because she's a housewife. It really breaks my heart cause she's my world. I'm gonna share this episode cause you guys said so much of what I tell he regularly

Because she's a housewife? What!!!She should be proud. I'm sure she's great at it? It's an upside down world where that is not the most admirable position in the Family. God Love's You Mama, so do I.
The key is, he said at times. That's because today's society tells us we can have it all and we should want it all. But us "housewives" are worth our weight in gold. When you have a man like Miguel here saying, she's my world, you are doing your job very well. I've never had someone in my career days tell me that. That is way better than an award, raise....anything!
Miguel tell your wife being a housewife is better than any job out there....I'm jealous. Keep encouraging her it will pay off.

Steve, how you treat and interact with Renae will be what Dalia Expects from a man and what a man is suppose to be. What both kids see is more important than what you tell them. The ultimate compliment is when she says mommy I want to marry a man like daddy.

Steve and Renae I comment all the time of how proud I am of you guys and how you represent our ppl Mexican-American. I preach the same thing Steve that hard work pays off, to don't victimize your self. You guys are the perfect balance in so many ways. As ppl, parents, partners, professionally but yet true to who you are and your humbleness, compassion, and morals nvr seem to be missing. Renae thank you for saying it's still okay to be a housewife. I fell that's part of the reason we are loosing our family structure too many of us are missing in the home. Love you guys 🤩💞

I definitely can relate with being a mom, and working for/with your husband. I’m actually the boss, but I let him think he’s calling the shots 😏. But it is a struggle sometimes because running our household is very hard 24/7 with 4yo twins and roofing. 😅

Ok, i had to stop watching this episode and write you guys a message. You two are super awesome! Thank you for sharing with us (basically strangers) your life, your positivity but also the struggles. My husband and I think things are over with us...untill we hear a perspective and it reminds us...hey, it's just being married and growing together, which is wonderful and such a blessing to have someone brilliant and loving right next to you every day.

Me and my wife love the show when y’all talked about the miscarriage me and my wife had a miscarriage a few weeks later and from hearing y’all talk about it really help me handle it and helped me be there for my wife.

Steve, I am the same with my boys and my students. When my students have come up to me and said “He called me ugly.” I’ll say “Are you?” and I give them that lecture about not caring what people say about you. They are third graders but they need to know life isn’t always cupcakes and rainbows.

I have another idea, what about every now and then y’all do a live feed so us fans can ask questions and get an automatic answer. That way fans get to interact. And can’t wait until you have guests regularly like your mom, dad, etc.
@@jasonmoreno944 Yes Jason, I was rewatching the 1st episode and their vision of having guests, maybe experts. I know a new baby can get you side tracked, so that's a good reminder to put that idea back on their radar. Although the two of them by themselves is still quite entertaining.
