Yes the "Elvis, Obama, was the QB calling out plays, adjustments or protections -( how the linemen will block) . These words are like codes so only your team knows what they mean.
This is done on every play . The coach calls it in to the QB and then on the field the QB relays it to the other player.
The defense is doing the same.
The fans know this and get extra loud in key situations (like 3rd down or goal line) to disrupt communication of the opposing team.

Philip Rivers (on the Chargers) was whiny and especially had a temper, but let's take a moment to say that he has the 5th all-time TD passes in NFL history, right behind Peyton Manning, Brees, Brady, and Brett Favre, and did so on a mediocre team.
He threw a lot of interceptions as well, though.
Edit: He also played in the AFC Championship game with a torn ACL. In other words; he played with a season-ending injury. He was a hardass, even if he appeared whiny.

    • @civichoo6017
      @civichoo6017 Před 3 lety +7

The crazy thing is, is that Rivers probably could’ve passed Manning and Farve in touchdowns and passing yards if he didn’t sit behind Drew Brees for 2 years when Brees was still on the Chargers. 2 years is a lot of time.
As for interceptions, Rivers actually has less career interceptions than Brees, Manning, and Favre. Rivers was totally underrated because he never made it to the Super Bowl.

uh, no, incorrect. The team was named the BROWNS after their first coach and manager PAUL BROWN, When Coach Paul Brown was visiting Bowling Green State University, he admired their colors on their uniforms, which was brown and orange...that's how the Browns got their colors. I am a lifetime, devoted Browns' fan (born and raised in Cleveland and lived here most of my life (I am 75). Even though I am a Browns' fan, I DON'T like our colors. QBs have radios in their helmets. It's how coaches tell them the play so that's who dude was complaining about when he said they need to stop talking into his helmet.

Please react to one of the greatest NFL Trash Talker's and player John Randle. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. His story of how he got to the NFL is amazing.

The Tupac/Obama is usually an indicator between two options. For example, "Roger" might mean right and "Louie" left. It might mean run vs. pass or pass1 vs pass2, etc.

Please react to some of the best game highlights, of the rams since sean mcvay took over as headcoach, youngest headcoach in football history! Aaron Donald is what you you want to see and know about! Smallest Defensive lineman breaking records and leading by example! Brings the best out of our defense! Todd gurleys rookie season was ridiculous too

They've started incorporating very small sponsor logos into NHL and NBA uniforms, but MLB and NFL don't have any sponsors on their uniforms besides the manufacturers (Nike, Addidas, etc.)

The sponsored shirts in soccer (ok ok football) always struck me as really unattractive and soulless

Nike is not a sponsor. The swoosh is there because Nike makes the clothing for teams. The sponsorship is usually companies that pay for the stadium branding (Gillette, AT & T, etc.)

People in the NFL are against ads on jerseys. Though some teams wear ads on their practice jerseys, but never game jerseys.

I like the browns color, more or less. Reminds me of fall. They're a bit too dark in the brown and too bright on the orange right now. When they use orange as their primary they look like popsicles. But their classic look is iconic.

Phillip Rivers has like 10 kids so there’s a reason he was so aggravated 🤣 You’d be annoyed too. Also those helmet headphones are loud and there are only 2 allowed per team. One defense one offense
