They should be fired and charged with sexual assault.
Among many other felonies
Then paraded thru town butt naked!
Here go with that not training shit again they all way say the same shit over and over and over again my opinion
@@user-vj9kp8sn4y you don't need training to know not to molest a person in public and violate his rights
Agreed!
What is this world coming too when cops can violate a persons rights and face no criminal charges. End qualified immunity.
Removing clothing of people at the side of the road is a sexual assault
Whenever the world gets to the place where cops CAN'T violate people without consequences, then we will have no more police applicants. These thugs become cops for some very specific reasons - none of them are to protect citizens' rights.
Qualified immunity has nothing to do with facing criminal charges. Ask the District Attorney why he isn't prosecuting them.
Yeah but you have to understand they weren't properly trained, so didn't realise that stripping someone in a public place was wrong. To know that would require at least two functioning brain cells and that's something (a lot) of cops don't seem to possess.
@@ned6938 Yes the public should be emialing or calling the DA?
2 fucking years ago??? And now they just finish the investigation? WTF? Two tier justice system.
Exactly smdh.
Two tier society
So sick of it.
After an almost 2 year investigation, these cops were disciplined? How? Desk duty? Paid time off? These cops are laughing at the sheriff's incompitent leadership.
They got a reprimand. Which is basically a warning. Which is also practically no punishment at all.
🎯
@@nomoremicrotransactions3070💯
with…laughing with.
wait wait wait…did you think the “leadership” was mad at them for this??? oh…i see. that explains things.
Well said.
It’s disgusting that officers can basically commit a sexual offense on the side of the road in public while everyone driving by is watching and nothing is done to them no charges for sexual assault. They should’ve been stripped of their credentials to be law-enforcement officers and they should be in prison. Why does it take years for someone to get a smidgen of justice?
That’s a crime, not a policy violation.
The union will support those tyrants.
That's a crime. It's called sexual assault..
Rape in most countries
The union is probably why it took 2 years to investigate
Cmon DeSatan would have covered for them if the union and DA hadnt, like he did for his pedo buddy - florida loves them some perverts and pedos.
all bs. they knew what they were doing. it took 2 years to do little to nothing to them. officers need to have real consequences.
Remove qualified immunity
When they end it I want to see how many stay in law enforcement and for how long
They needed to be TRAINED not to strip search on the side of the road???? Good grief what idiots.
Yes, I don't think people fully understand what we've all condoned for decades.
Basically given them all that power with little training and said "Ok who ever puts this uniform on is always good and everyone else is bad until the courts say so (results not guaranteed based on income)."
We don't even give doctors that much power over our bodies.
Danm...You would think common sense would tell you not to do that in public.
Most cops any more weren’t born with, nor gained ANY common sense!
Common sense...from cops? You're expecting too much.
They had to know. They wanted to demean the man.
They knew exactly what they were doing was wrong. Never fired but let go to humiliate another Black person smfh.
@@deputyrock3489 LOL!
Pretty sure that rises to the level of sexual assault and these officers need to be charged and put on the predator list.
"I was never trained on..." is straight from their attorney's mouths.
Surprised they didn't charge him with indecent exposure
Disciplined? The poor officers got put on paid administrative leave for six months for being upstanding officers they were never trained in human decency!
worse they only got a written reprimand
its florida - decency doesnt exist like morals and self respect it left long ago
Being unaware still doesnt excuse breaking the law. Thats what a cop would tell a citizen when arresting them.
ignorance of the law is no excuse!
If they were never trained on when or how to conduct a strip search, why did they conduct a strip search. What were they thinking?
What else are they out there doing that they were never trained on???
The answer is they're doing a lot that either they weren't trained on or that they were trained to break the rules...
The only reason this is getting talked about is probably because the victim filed a complaint and there was body cam footage. Chances are they've done this many times before but other people were too afraid or there wasn't any body cam footage of the assault.
They were thinking that at worst they might get a stern talking to. And that's what they got.
Wht they were doing was humiliation 101.
Cops don't think. Neither do back the blue morons in the general public that worship cops.
Any other human being who forcibly exposes someone's genitals the public would be in prison. Saying ,I wasn't trained in strip searches is like a rapist saying I wasn't trained in forcing someone to take their clothes off
Disciplined??? No charged?
So they get a meaningless piece of paper two years later.... Sounds about right as far as cop accountability goes lol
This should never be done period. Not without a warrant. The constitution is clear.
The satanists in black dresses said the 4th AMD doesn't matter anymore if a cop says so. Lots of case law on it. The bill of rights is a joke and was abolished a long time ago.
ANY COP THAT LACKS COMMON SENSE DOSENT QUALIFY TO BE A COP 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
That would be all of them.
Its florida - where they going to find something that doesnt exist in the state
Punished for “Violating jso policy”? Not for violating his rights, sexual assault, WTH
I imagine they were all laughing back at the station. Common sense doesn’t apply there.
No suspension. What a fuckin joke. Sue, good chance qualified immunity won't be applicable since the agency stated they had been trained.
Does qualified immunity cover cops sexually assaulting people at the roadside?
@@mariegarside8830 Not likely in this particular case. If the department said they were trained then they can't really claim QI.
@theprofessorfate6184 Removing the man's clothing and underwear, which exposed his penis/testicles, is strip searching. I hope they can't qualify for Qualified Immunity.
Law enforcement as a whole needs to be Restructured. Higher education requirements (A 2.0 GPA, D+, and 16 weeks of training is all you need to be a police officer), Medical evaluation for Health and Steroid usage (steroids are known to increase irritability, anxiety and aggression and cause mood swings, with symptoms of paranoia and lack of emotion), psychological evaluations annually, term limited Civilian Oversight board
Sexual assault isn't illegal in Jacksonville Fl.
Anything is legal if your a cop.
Removing peples clothing at the side of the road shod have more punishment than a slap on the wrist.
More proof of the COMPLETE lack of proper training. Until they fix this, start taking settlements out of the police union pension fund!
Not even a training issue, just a common sense issue
if you back the blue this on you.
Written reprimanded means promotion to Sargent within a year.
If they had not been trained. they should not have done it. Here in the UK the parameters of searches in public are defined. If a deeper search is required then it is done in a police station
1st thing common sense should tell you that was inappropriate at the very least and 2nd why did it take 2 years to decide on this simple case of not following dept policy? It's incidents like this one that cause mistrust between the police and the public.
this country needs police reform BADLY.
Sad
File a lawsuit against all 3 cop
They weren't trained? While that in itself is horrifying to think, also doubtful but if you're a cop and you know this is something you're going to need to do at some point wouldn't you educate yourself? I mean you know how to put cuffs on someone why wouldn't you want to know the correct and legal way to do something especially when it comes to removing someone's clothing? Or is it better for them to not know so they can claim ignorance if it ever comes back on them?
If they "weren't trained" why were they doing it then? Remember when "ignornace of the law was no excuse"?
@@frotobaggins7169 yeah apparently that only applies to us peasants mate
Oh no. A written reprimand. That will teach them a lesson.
A third party should be watching the police 24/7!
No way it should’ve taken this long
How is it worded? "ignorance of the law is no excuse"
Never trained in a strip search? Were they ever trained in common sense?
didn't realize removing his pants and underwear was a strip search. Where do they get these genius cops?
"The most dangerous thing in life is an incompetent that has been given a gun and a law enforcement badge."
- Steven Magee
Both these officers should get 6 months in jail. Just like Chile Decastro getting 6 months in jail for filming cops.
Could you imagine a world without body cameras !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for covering this, we need honesty & transparency.
Why not fired?
And cops want us to respect them? Who the heck are they hiring?
This says to other cops that they can pretty much get away with anything. Especially when they investigate themselves. 3 months training is not enough. A beautician has to go to school for over a year and that's just for hair!
Exactly. Their bosses are making it more dangerous for EVERYBODY. (including their own family and friends)
Disciplined eh, so a bit of paid vacation followed by a promotion.
The gentleman that they had explaining police conduct was one of the rare times that the expert actually told the truth. I think he was fair and critical of the police and he spoke in a very common sense manner.
Wow !! Disciplined NOT fired !!
As an elderly woman, I’m appalled! 😒
This is what being "held to a higher standard" looks like.
Family Circus: I dunno. I don't know. Not me. You know the one.
Even a 5-year-old child knows this is illegal. It's common sense and they knew it was criminal. No way a person can be that dumb
"Now you folks don't do that ever again"
Really?
Written reprimands 😱 how will the officers ever recover. This is a brutal punishment 😱
It took nearly two years for them to get a written warning ?!?!
They should be fired, then arrested, charged, and jailed, let's be honest, they are down low on being gay, they just wanted to see this man's junk.
hell was wrong a letter
Thats sexual assault, those cos should be in prison
Disciplined? Omg! They should have been fired. How can this kind of thing happen?
And they didn't even get suspended! Smh disgusting. Because that's the level of punishment your average citizens would receive isn't it 🤬
ftPolice
Just sickening
That was just fucking wrong.
Common Sense would go a long ways, but we know there is no common sense when dealing with cops
So they got a letter saying don't do that? They should have been fired instantly we give OUR law enforcement to much power over OUR lives
They knew it was wrong...they just didn't care. They know that accountability is rare and almost nonexistent.
Ignorant of the law is no defense, but it makes for one helluva offense for police to suppress citizens with impunity and malice.
In public??? Omg disgusting
Disciplined...
So they shook their finger at them and said "bad"
Wow. So accountable. Absolute joke.
Common sense tells you this is not ok. Cops need to be held accountable for their actions.
Common sense!!!!! No training required just brains!!!
He needs to sue THEIR pants off
Apparently they weren’t on common sense either.
I'm sure a written reprimand is going to break the heart of those officers and be a deterrent for future misdeeds. Also their promotions will come next week with a nice pay raise. Saying they were never trained is just plausible deniability for officers. As a citizen try telling that to a judge and you will get a lecture about citizens should know the law and you'll get a guilty sentence.
Awh! This is some bull 💩!
PEOPLE TAKE AUTHORITY TO DAMN FAR
Lawsuit
There is not 1 person in this whole wide world that believes these officers didn't know
The absolute confidence displayed while violating that man's rights out in public and then to act like wow I was never trained how to to conduct myself. Doing something he hasn't been trained for and displaying that level of arrogance while doing it that seems somewhat psychotic. I'll give the cops this, they got their story straight. Justice is starting to seem, more and more like waiting to see what somebody else will do to bring about justice.
What the hell is this country coming to
Disciplined? How about prison time?
Why did it take 2 years?
How many years were they cops ?
If one person rips off another persons clothes in the middle of a 7/11 what would the CRIMINAL charge be???
Thats sexual assault. They need to be putting notices in their neighbors mailboxes.
its florida they love those that sexually assult people - on the side of the road, in dressing rooms, anywhere really
For God's sake we have to push this to the Forefront. These criminal police did exactly what we are supposed to be protected from, they committed the highest crime that can be committed. Constitutional felonies. There is no ambiguity here is the worst part is their Superior officers will not be held responsible, that's what perpetuates this problem
So, a written reprimand was the result of two years of investigating this incident. The games will always continue with law enforcement (in this case, dragging their feet and delaying the process). If I were a betting man, I would wager these deputies cannot remember the incident they're being disciplined over. JSO is, at best, a joke. I hope this victim will file a lawsuit against the sheriff and these deputies.
Discipline? What ?They took their donuts away
Oh my a written reprimand they will be having nightmares for years
Treating citizens with respect is DEFINITELY not a priority in police training.
All they dont find on them when they hand cuff them when they get under that garage and go in that door they will do a full search 😂😂
_"Disciplined"_ aka *told to turn their cameras off next time.*
Thank god for cameras…imagine what’s been going on before
I hope he sues all of them.
No jail for these crimes?
Gee, I always heard that ignorance ...
Why in gods name if they were never trying to do it would they even think as a human to do it?
I’ve never took drivers training, so I didn’t know it illegal
Great reporting
Wow you can’t make this stuff up. 😮
