    This is a good puzzle;
    it asks you to break out of the boundaries of conventional thinking and that's the only step you have to take- other than a very minor dexterity check.

      no its js some boring bullshit you put the thing in the bigger than thing shaped hole and then rotate it so it fits

    It appears to me that a lot of puzzles nowadays rely on the diagonal first method when creating them; that way you can easily present is parallel and trick the player into thinking it is all about 90 degree rotations.

    There’s something mathematical about rotating puzzles diagonally, as the solution to many of these tricky puzzles. Its pretty neat!

      I think diagonals tend to also be good “hiding places” perceptually because sometimes it takes physically changing your perspective to notice something aligned on that axis.

    11:50 For the protan simulator, you could use cyan lenses/filters on the phone (iOS has this under color filters > color tint, needs to be tweaked to get it just right, but once red appears black it should be good), or pure LED green and blue lights
    This also works to simulated other CVDs:
    Protanopia = GB = Cyan
    Deuteranopia = RB = Magenta
    Tritanopia = RG = Yellow
    For simulating cone monochromacy you’d just use the same R G or B color for light and filter, or grayscale since it would basically be perceived the same anyway

    Rules for solving any puzzle:
    1. Pack the pieces Diagonally
    2. Spin the puzzle
    3. A predetermined hidden sequence that you have to know ahead of time.

    Hey, homie, a hot tip on English: "Parts that have as FEW parts"
    Many Americans don't know the difference, so don't feel bad.
    Use "few/fewer" when you can COUNT the items (1,2,3)
    Use "less" when you can't

      Breaking the parts is the worst grade of failure. Not only do you fail, both on the surface level and on every deeper layer, but you also destroy any chance of future success.

    This puzzle is the perfect visual metaphor for why postmodernism can't do anything.
    The pieces don't even lock into any one position that's stable; they're just two pieces that don't fit into anything normally, thrown together and called "a deconstruction".
