Jazza: gets an obscure or unusual art project
Jazza 2 mins later: *dragon* *time* 🐉
Dragon time, dragon time, do do do do dragon time
I LOVE the final project, but I did go.... "another dragon?? SIGH" at the beginning. I just want like a fairy or something. Or a cute little piglet. The fantasy stuff isn't my area of interest, but Jazza is so talented and his videos are so high quality, I'll watch no matter what he makes! :-)
Every single fn time haha
@@testaccount100100 “ Fantasy stuff isn’t my area of interest” also you: “I just want a fairy”
Haha fair critique. I’m not into fairies either, I was trying to think of something dragon-adjacent but more feminine!
The loo roll and glue was a nice little tribute to Art Attack… but wow, you took this took a new level! The moss and final result was so much better than I expected from a foam sculpture, even from Jazza!
watch this comment get a billion likes because you're verified.
Omg hello Sarah im a big fan 🤩
Nice
@@SillyNinja tbf, it's also a top tier comment from someone who has appeared on Jazza's channel before. Good callback + Kind Compliment = it deserved the likes.
Hi
I’m really struggling mentally with school right now and maintaining my gpa and my friendships and spending time with my family is really hard. Art has always been something relaxing for me and your videos have always given me a source of inspiration and provided the motivation for me to drag myself out of that state of giving up and draw something that makes me get back into living.
So just… thank you Jazza.
I hope you feel better soon keep doing things you like
Yes. It sometimes feels to me like doing art is when I just feel like me. It's just me baring my soul on paper and creating something I'm proud of.
Trying to get up and be productive yet here we are 2 minutes ago and here I am simping for jazza.
Also for smoothing foam and adding detail wire brushes, wrasps and files then smoothed over by like 300 grit sandpaper has always worked for me in the past.
Yeah that’s how I get smooth textures for my reptile enclosure back grounds, I assume he didn’t do that cause of the mess and maybe 1 tool challenge type thing?
I was coming to say “I wonder if he knows he can sand that to smooth it out”
I might have to make something like this for my 10-year-old nephew. He's obsessed with HTTYD, to the point where he's actually learned to play the piano well enough to play the music from the movie soundtracks.
has he read the books? they are 10x better than the films
FIGHT ME. THEY HAVE MORE PLOT, MORE THOUGHT, MORE WORLDBUILDING
@@hav5n Yes, he has. He also has every type of dragon memorized, from the books, movies, and shows.
"Forbidden Friendship" from the first movie is the reason I learned to play piano. And now I write my own music and play in a band. So cool to know that people are still being inspired to create from the same thing ❤️
@@hav5n THEY'RE BASED OFF BOOKS? Or are they written after to go further into it?
I had no idea there were books.
@@hav5n also to your sentence in caps, all books do. Books are so much better than movies.
You nailed this one, i wasn't quite sure what you were aiming for until after you got it covered and it had the stone look. Came out awesome
Absolutely amazing
This man is absolutely amazing his content is unbelievable and he has a gift I mean from this the stop motion all the way to the resin layer art. It’s unbelievable
The hot knife is the real star of the channel.
Shoutout to Jazza's crew for keeping up with his shenanigans.
"We scripted that in..." Lol Adding this to the video is basically breaking the 4th wall and I LOVE THAT. You should do this in your videos more often
A part of me has always been waiting for this video
Jazza with hot and sharp stuff! What could possibly go wrong?
Love your videos! Really happy you did a HTTYD project
Showing your embarrassment is relateable. Even when you seem to feel that way you keep the cut and I love that. You have long enbraced your mistakes as well... Making you 100% amazing and inspiring.
Loved the sculpture! Toothless looked slightly odd (but I'm not an artist so idk xD) and Hiccup looks awesome!! Great job Jazza and team!
Yeah Toothless look a little creepy haha, but who am I to complain? I definitely couldn't do something that good.
@@lauragrace5622 I'm guessing it might have to do with the fact he doesn't have any pupils? Dragons don't really have eyebrows so a lot of toothless' expressions come from his eyes and mouth, and it's pretty hard to get detail like that when you're carving foam (with a tool that I don't think is made with art as its main function)
I was also thinking Hiccup (only just realised it's 'Hiccup' as in the American spelling, I always thought he was still spelt 'Hiccough') looked great and Toothless was a little iffy. I think it's actually more impressive that the human looks better. I think part of it is that Toothless expresses himself through his pupils and his ears, and the restrictions of the foam make that quite hard to show.
2nd!! This I amazing like how love this piece!!!!
Better than I expected from foam but u can make anything look amazing jazza
liking for the safety explanation
Jazza never lets us down
it is always fun to see you using the spray paint!
Its been 10 years since your first upload Jazza! Congrats.
Wow, thats amazing! Love it! Toothless is sooo cute!
So cool! I love how each step he's inspired to add another touch that takes it to a whole new level. Brilliant.
You can use acetone to melt multiple pieces together. Acetone is acid for styrofoam, be careful, use just a little bit and it will melt together. :)
I ADORE Toothless and HTTYD, thank you for doing this!!!! It looks incredible!
The sculpture looks amazing
Well done Jazza...you choose the right pair to sculpt...even Stoic would be impressed 👍😁💕
You made my morning, Jazza!
Working with Jazza has to be the most creatively chaotic experience. I love it.
I reckon working for his brother would be more chaotic haha
I did not think that'd turn out as cool as it did, amazing! 😁💫
Jazza, every time I watch your videos, I’m amazed!

Well done, dear, you are continuing to be a great educator and inspiration.
That was awesome! loved the finished result!!
I have a strong suspicion that Jazza really likes dragons!
I hope you enjoy making these videos as much as I enjoy watching them! Nice work!
The amount of emotion you were able to carve into that styrofoam is amazing. Really well done!
This is gonna make me cry. It's so beautiful and it works so well with the lore of the show.
It's soooo really pretty !
Looks wonderful! The moss and dry brush were really what brought it together in my opinion

This was amazing Jazza!
this is so cool!! and perfectly timed for me as i've been binge watching the how to train your dragon series. such an enjoyable video, i love seeing how you innovate with mediums new and old. really really love your content :)
A piece of art like this would do amazing in a kids art museum, it would teach them another form of art while tying in some well loved and recognisable characters! This is a wonderful piece of work!
Brilliant work!
This was amazing!
Love all the ideas you come up and how creative everything is, always makes me excited when I see a new video from you and brings a smile to my face when I see your enthusiasm. Amazing content! ❤️
Such a great moment to capture in sculpture!
