Thanks for watching everyone! I have newer videos and more LL launchers and I have a Chronograph now. Check out my channel to see more content and other impact tests with other launchers.

The S2 is nice but I'm still a fan of the Byrna for edc. Great video

      Thank you!
Ya, i like both as well. The single hand operation and size of the Byrna SD is good. Salt Supply S2 has an awesome trigger and good power.

Why exactly the Byrna?(I own both)

@@MultiSkyman1 Probably the same reasons for buying each one. Just bought the s2 since I just use a shoulder bag (byrna is definitely easier to carry even holster if wanted) but still nervewracking/gonna need to practice with it since every second counts and having to charge the s2 before firing unlike the byrna which pierces on the first fire, can matter. But also that proprietary technology on the byrna means it's not perfect, you can look it up and find plenty of reliability issues and failures, which can't be trained out unlike having to charge the launcher. So in my opinion s2 still better for personal safety.

@@frgtdrepsn2904 Yeah, I love the trigger feel on the S2. Byrna is a bit longish to me.

A couple of weeks ago I took out my newish S2, pierced the cartridge and soon heard the dreaded hissing. Defective cap!
Salt Supply quickly sent two new caps out to me, but that really could have been a disaster if I had needed to defend myself!
Left me kinda leary of carrying it now.

Well well if i dont recognize that name. You guys need to tell me when you have channels.
When life gives you lemons just add Salt. 😂

Do you need some 8g CO2's?
I've offered them to 2 folks, 1 said they didn't need them the other never got back to me.
I have approx 80 (8g) cartridges, I have no use for them. I have 4 FSC'S setups but all my mags are 16g & 20g mags.

Instead of returning the LE for S2 I may go for the SD.
Smaller than the two and still have similar controls in familiar places.
Is the SD more reliable than LE??

    • @frgtdrepsn2904
      @frgtdrepsn2904  Před měsícem +1

Ya either one(Bynra SD or Salt Supply S2) is pretty good. The SD is alot smaller and weighs about 5 ounces less than the Salt Supply S2. I made a size/weight comparison video a few days ago on my channel with the 5 different pistol style launchers that I own.
I do not have a Byrna LE and I do not think I will get one. I think the LE is reliable, but I do see on some videos that you lose alot of power after the first 2-3 shots.
