Baklava Love Cake

Baklava Love Cake
#Ingredients:
For cake:
1.5 Cups + 2 tsp. Almond meal
¾ Cup All-purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Baking Soda
2 Room Temperature Eggs
½ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Melted Butter
¼ Cup Rose Water
1/8 tsp. Saffron Powder
1.5 tsp. Cardamom Powder
1/8 tsp. Salt
9’’ Spring Form Pan
#Syrup for Cake and Baklava:
¾ Cup Water
½ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Honey
Divide this by half and use half of it for Cake and half for Baklava
For #Baklava:
½ Cup Pistachios
5-6 sheets of Pastry Phyllo Dough
2 tsp. Sugar
Preheat oven at 350 F for the Love cake and preheat it again at 360F for the baklava.
