- After hearing of the “egg shortage” and prices skyrocketing, we have decided to do something about it, pasture sanitation and eggs are coming to our farm! #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #farming #food #eggs #egg #eggmobile #egglayers #chicken #chickens
Really glad you talked about the egg "shortage" and the globalization of the food industry. Crazy how much darker it is when you dig deeper too. Really exciting to see the progress of the farm and the big plans you have. I'm definitely a buyer of eggs and turkey when you have it available. Keep up the good work 👏
Thanks James!
Soooo AWESOME!!! Love your chicken mobile! I think that looks like a great project for Tom!!😂
You better get him on it!

Thanks man!
@@drumhillerfarms6858 I love your build videos and your attitude ! Keep up the great work. Todd
@@drumhillerfarms6858 if you're going to get pigs my suggestion is idaho pasture pigs , they will fit you right ( layed back & friendly )
@@toddcaskey9984 I have looked into the ipp’s take a little liner to finish out but would love to try them some time
My chicken guard door lasted a good 2.5 years and just let me down finally a week ago. It was a pretty reliable and worthwhile investment. I had the same style you have, but mine just came with the computer and I had to fab a door myself. I may have made the door a little too heavy which shortened my lifespan.
Love the egg mobile! Do you think a determined racoon could push through the magnetic back to those laying boxes?
Thanks, as for the raccoon, I have had that same thought, my plan is to have an electric net fence so that shouldn’t be a problem, ultimately I would rather not mess with the fence but that’s been my plan
I like the solar premier one units. I’ve got a handful of them and they’re pretty handy.
I find that they deter, but definitely don’t stop, raccoons. Every year I will lose some broilers due to coons digging under my tractors, even though they’re all kept inside the fencing.
I wonder if there’s a way to latch/hasp those doors, that way you’re not relying on the magnets.
Odds are probably super slim a coon gets past the fence and is lucky enough to find out that those can be pushed through
All you had to do was take off the wheels, pull it outside and put the wheels back on !
Lol! Yeah I think it’s still plenty tall enough as is now.
That’s only in the US and it’s greed Sadly . ThYou need more Meat Processer for beef Sheep and Pigs and Chicken not just the big 4 in the US . Theres enough money too have more really
