    The property with 280 degrees of lake surround is gold! The house is icing on the cake. Your vision for improving that property, then turing it into a guest house is the dream! Completely awesome.

    One thing at a time! That looks a lot like my place when I bought it almost 5 years ago. I’ve put on new siding, windows, built a deck and done a ton of landscaping. It’ll all come together for you, keep up the good work 👍🏼

    Hi am a new comer to your sites and I have to say you are rocking it out there in NS. You remind me a lot of my self 15 years ago finding a similar lot on the Rideau River in Ottawa and building a log home. I don’t know if you answered the following question already but can you mention the cost of acquiring that property like you did with your other property you bought from the Swiss couple. ? All The Best

    • @workplaytv
      @workplaytv  Před 2 lety +2

    Your new property. The cabin. How much does it cost to bury your electric instead of the 24 poles. Plus all the trees they will cut down??? Just a thought. I buried 3 acres. I rented a small trencher that looks like a ground chainsaw. I ran the trench I laid the rock and ran the cable his they gave me for free. Then they hooked it all up .

    I completely get your comment near the end “I do not want to leave.” My wife and I just bought a home on 19 acres in upstate NY. We will be moving from a regular builder trac neighborhood to our new paradise. When we stop at the new place to water the garden I don’t want to leave. Closing in 30 days.

    Why didn't you just burn it you have great big fields there and your spending money for somebody else to burn it,,,,right. I see the guy that built it didn't even put those 4x in the ground when you were taking it apart the 4x just looked like they fell over anyway beautiful property very nice. What did you pay for it, just wondering. At todays prices nobody can afford anything anymore unless you owned a house before everything went crazy in the housing market I live in ontariop and prices here have skyrocketed out of sight for anybody thinking of ownership like $500,000 to 1 mill for a chunk of land with a house.
